Hi guys,I'm trying to create a video banner ad (canvas with video component) and having all the files in the root folder. However, Animate CC is currently creating a 'components' and 'videos' folder. Is there a 'button' to export the files in 1 root folder?Michael

Hello, I posted as follows before, but I didn't get any relpy. Could anybody help?   Hello, I was checking filter effect in 2020. 0. 2 version. I first tried blur filter with graphic symbol, editing filters on a frame. But the effect didn't show. Tricky thing was that after doing some stuff, I could see the effect after all. So I tried blur filter, using move clip symbol. I expected this is more stable. But this didn't show up either, and then showed up after a while. I wanted to find at least some pattern, so I tried with a new project. And this time blur effect showed right away. I have to keep trying filters and will see what the problem is. Is there anyone who experienced this?

Is it okay for streaming adobe animated on sites such as twitch? I am concerned over terms and conditions over no streaming; Is it just showing the software being used?  

I'm working on a project in a HTML5 canvas.I go to the publish settings and select sprite sheet, with both .png and .jpeg enabled.Normally when I hit publish, and go to the destination folder I will find my .html, .js, .png and .jpeg for the project.But for some reason, Animate won't create the .jpeg anymore and I'm left with only the .png.Which doesn't contain the all of images for my project. And when I go to double-click my .html to check my project, nothing loads and it's just blank.  I did update Animate today since Creative Cloud notified me. I guess the update must have broke something since this worked fine yesterday before I updated. Is this just an issue for me or is it happening for anyone else?How can I solve this, is it possible to roll-back to the previous version before the update? EDIT: I went back to the previous version and now everything works again

It seems that Adobe have a wall aroud themeslevs that makes it virstually impossibelt o get to them for support. The best I could do is take their posed (and standard) advice and seek support from the community. Well, I did that back on 08 April and it's now the 14th. I've had 17 Likes but no responses to my issue. It really frustrates me as I can't use the product fully that I have purchased and I can't get help. Any animation I create in Animate I can not get to MP4 because the Encoder simply does not engage with my file and it seems (but I'm no software support expert) that there is something invalid with my email. Below is my original post to the Community on 08 April. I need help coloring in adobe animate. Once I've finished my inks, i want to add color on a seperate layer underneath, rather than it just all be on the same layer. I've tried to use the magic wand, but it has the little lock symbol around it and says I can't use it. Help?

Hi, i use Huion H950P, i updated the software. But it responds with a long delay (1 minute). I restarted the Huion Software and Adobe Animate, but it doesn´t help. The file i have opened ist very small. My computer is very fast. It shouldn't be a hardware problem. Is it due to adobe animate or the huion software? How can I solve the problem? Best regards,René

Hi allI've just realised I've made a fairly big error!  I created shapes using the pen tool and filled them, then when i was tweaking them the outline didn't move with them as i didnt double click, but i had thought it didn't matter as i didn't need the outline, so I've then deleted all the outlines.  Any how, I've now just realised i do infact need those outlines!!  Does anyone know of a way i can add the outline back on?  Ideally I don't want to have to draw everything again.  I was just beginning to animate, so i have conerted everything into symbols too.  Any hekp would be appreacited!Thanksx

Sometimes Animate no longer allows me to change the color on fills/strokes with the color tab. I can only change via the strokes and fill tab - which only allows access to swatches or the more obtuse color picker attached to the swatch tab. The regular color picker no longer has any effect. The color in the tab will look like it's working then immediately reverts to the previous color. The only way to get it working correctly again is to close the program and open it again - then it may work for five minutes or so before it reverts again. This has been going on for quite some time - erratically though. Sometimes it will be fine for days, then out of the blue it goes haywire again.Also when it is in this uncooperative state, if I select a color via the color tab and attempt to add it to my swatches, it immediately reverts to the previous color and saves the previous color as a swatch. The only way to get it back is to close the program and restart. And then it will work correctly f

Hi all, I'm new to Animate so the issue I'm having has been hard to find any information on. When I convert a file to HTML5 canvas and export it, the resulting HTML file opens in all browsers and displays as it should. However, when I uploaded the zipped folder and extracted to my domain's Cpanel so I could preview it online, it still works in all browsers except for Chrome. In Chrome it displays as a blank white page. I don't know where to begin tracking this issue down. Thanks all.

I cannot publish images from a Canvas project besides 8-bit PNGs. Textures, Spritesheets, Image assets will not export if it is not an 8-bit PNG.This seems to have broken in the latest update Build 20.0.3. Downgraded to 20.0.2 and it is working fine.Bug Report submitted.

I have just installed Adobe Animate the other day and was excited to begin. But when i begun to draw using my Surface Book 2 and Surface Pen the line did not match where i was drawing. To describe it, when i placed my pen down on the screen and attempted to draw a line, it would create a line directly up from where i placed it down. I would then draw along the screen and the line would appear quite a way up from where i was actually drawing on the screen.   Here is a diagram since i explained it badly. I am new to the program so it could be a stupid mistake but i really need a way to fix it as i need to do a project.

Hi there, I'm a newbie to Animate. I have a simple scissor animation which cuts along a path (this is done).What I want to do now is have marks where the scissors are going to, and when the scissor crosses the mark, the mark is removed. I should note : the path the scissor takes is circular, or at least joins up - it is not always a straight line.I don't know how to do it. I looked at masks which looks promising? e.g.           X_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ __ __ _ _ _ _ _[end]  When my scissor X gets to end, all the dashes should disapear. I would also like more complex dashes to follow. Any help/tips/strategy would be appreciated. Is there an easy way to achieve this?

Hi! I've moved to a UI programmer position in a games company and I'm unused to Flash, though I used it a tiny bit back in the day to experiment with making games. I've inherited a bunch of flash files and would like to explore what's in them, but it seems like I can't do that, so I'm interested in what I'm misunderstanding, or not aware of, and also interested in ways to fix it. Here's what I think I know.- A flash file has a library, which is a set of user-defined archetypes.- There is also a scene, which seems to be recreated when opening a movieclip from the library for examination.- Movieclips can have children.- Looking at the timeline there are layers. These don't correspond to child movieclips but can own them in some ways, allowing you to hide/lock them.- There used to be a pane called "Movie Explorer" or something, in Flash, that got deprecated when they made Animate.- No substitute was made for the removal of this feature.- There is currently no way to see exp

I'm using Adobe Animate 2020 on different devices, but when I use it on my MacBook Air, it looks strange (see on picture). All icons and the stuff on the right and left are bigger than normal and I can hardly work like that, because my screen is not that big. Do you know how I can change that to normal?

I have a video that is played by the Adobe Animate video component. I would like that after the end of this video, the animation moves forward one frame. I need to control the time of the video. Does anyone know if this is possible in HTML5?

Even after using the correct way of accessing an object when Advanced Layers is ticked, I am not able to access the object. The comipler is not showing any errors but when testing, it won't even recognise the button as a button.
