Hi everybody, Im working on a big project in adobe animate 2023. Today I finished a scene and tried to export but the program hung on trying to move over to media encoder to finish (it does this sometimes). So i save my project and restart as i usually do.. When I restart this time, the .fla file says there was an error when trying to open it. When I go look at the file size it is only 32mb (it should be like 1200mb). I have versions of this file saved but my last finished scene was in that file and id love to recover it. I cant find any auto recovery files in the text file in the config folder. This is really bad. I would try to use winrar to repair the file but the fact its 32mb and it was 1200mb is very disheartening. Is there anything I can do. this is a time sensitive project.

So, I have two different labtops signed onto Adobe Animate. One is getting real old so I decided to switch to the second. When I did, I found all of my previous projects in the Creative Cloud folder on my second labtop, all fine and looking the same as on the first one.However, the most recent project I have been working on(which I have saved multiple copies of and have triple checked on where it is saved and what type of file it is), is the only file not showing up. I can't find any of the recover or copied files of it, and I need to get it done on my second labtop asap.

Wile testing the animate file, the voice over is geting duplicated and overlaped. How to overcome this issue?

Hello,There is a bug when a layer is rigParented to another, when I skew or rotate the parent layer.Here's some steps to reproduce the bug:1. Parent a layer to another.2. Animate the parent with a classic Tween. Apply a skew on the last keyframe3. Animate the child with a classic Tween. With the keyframes at the sametimings than the parent. Animate the position of the child. There is a shift onthe position of the child between the ending keyframe and the frame justebefore.Does someone has the same issue ? It seems to be caused by the skew / rotating.When you convert the child animation in frame-by-frame, the animation becomes correct.I tried to change the tweening options in the frame properties with no result. Thanks !

I want to exportan animation as a PNG sequence to import it into a game engine. The PNG's that Animate outputs are cropped in a weird way.  Here's what it looks like in Animate, and then what the PNG looks like. The cat Graphic symbol does not have a solid background. The output PNG has what seems like an appropriate width and height but obviously wrong crop location.

I'm trying to make an idle clicking game like cookie clicker on adobe animate cc and I have absolutely no experience. any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I have created a circle to click and font to change but can't seem to figure it out. I have turned the circle into a symbol and added the code snippet 'mouse click event' under the folder 'event handlers'. I am using actionscript 3.0

Since updating to Sonoma on my MacBook Air, when I test a movie using Cmd+Enter, it goes through the publishing process but then does not open a browser, so I've no idea if the movie is working or not. Also, some of my HTML5 games that were previously working have started playing up - I just see a bunch of random images from the game (I've attached a screenshot), or the preloader just spins and spins. Are there any known compatibility issues with Sonoma? 

Adobe Animate 2024 opens fine and I can open my files and get into them. BUT when I try to use certain functions such as the selection tool to drag an object it doesn't do anything and gives a loading cersor. The window will go cloudy and tempararily say "Not responding" at the top left-hand corner of the screen. Then it goes back to the program as if nothing ever happened, it doesn't crash or anything. It was working just fine an hour ago but something changed IDK.  Idk if this is relavent but I installed/updated: (I'm pretty sure this problem started before I did these things tho.)Nvidia driversgot microsoft OneDriverintel wireless wifi/bluetooth driverupdated windows I have the system requirements if your wondering so it's not that.

Hello)I had this situation.added a video component to the scene.On the layer above this component I placed a control button.When publishing, the video component is shown on the top layer, thereby hiding my control button.Tell me, is it possible to control the depth of layers for video components?

Hello! I have been struggling with getting my app to the Apple App store for a few months now. I have gone through various versions of Animate, AIR SDK, Xcode, and OSX and am still having issues with icons. I am running the latest version of all of these now. I originally assumed the issue was with Apple, but have verified that although my icons are attached correctly in the Icons tab and are referenced correctly in the XML file, they are not actually present in the Payload when I unpackage the published IPA. I used the online tool here http://www.applicationloader.net/appuploader/onlinetools.php to create my Assets.car file. I additionally tried adding all of the icons manually under Included Files, but then Animate says they're missing. I have the icon files and the Assets.car in the top-level folder. Originally I had them inside the folder the online tool creates, but apple rejected my file, saying that the Assets.car file needs to be in the top level. &nbsp

How can i run code once when the animation loads? Everything works fine but i now want to add some code to the start to set up, like stop movieclip and hide objects stuff like that, but if i put it at the top of my script, it runs every time i get to that frame. Thanks

and the file won't open and i don't know what to do, how to fix?

Hey,I created Banner Ads for a client. The workflow was creating them first in Illustrator and importing the files into Animate. Exact same specifications. Now I exported them and the html is super crispy on my MacBook Screen. But on the clients screen (I am sure their monitors have no high resolution) the fonts in general and the font in the Logo (wich is a png file) seem to be pixelated. I already set the Publishing-settings to the highest standart. What could be the issue here. The client sent us his test-link and commented, that it's still bad. However if I open the link, it looks perfectly fine.Is it just a resolution related problem? Please help 

I am animating the lip syncing for a character. When I go to the properties of the audio layer, the sync is set to Event; no problem. But when it's set to Stream, there is a brief moment of lag as soon as the playback reaches the moment the character begins speaking. I've been animating this while in Stream mode so that I can scrub through the timeline while hearing the audio--makes lip syncing easier. When I press play, there's a brief moment of lag when it reaches the speaking part, but the audio and animation are synced perfectly (Still in stream mode). But when I change the sync mode back to Event, the animation is not aligned with the audio, because I have been animating it in Stream mode which is laggy in the first place. Does that make sense?Is there a way to get rid of this lag?Thank you.

Hey everyone,My animate started to force stop and close when importing anything into the program. I have spent many hours on the customer service chat and take over and it still isn't fixed. Has anyone else had this happen? I was able to import to stage my ps file in all of the different layers and now when I try it closes the program and sends a message. It has now been almost four weeks and this program isn't working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted the computer at multiple stages. This happens on both laptops and the surface pro I have. Any ideas on how to get it working again? Thanks for the help! 

Hello everybody! I notice that my Adobe Animate app on my computer has a problem with the files. I export it from Media Encoder, and whien I go to my editing apps and press "Import Files", whenever I try to open the files I rendered from Animate to Media Encoder, it will say "File not found" and "File Name Invalid". How do I fix this? It's only been doing this recently, and it never did this before. Thanks & tell me what to do to fix it if you know! 

For some reason, my audio file caused an error while I was trying to put the file. I am vey sure I did what was right on the videos but this happened 

Hi I am animating a character that has symbols for a leg and a foot. The foot symbol is in the correct spot for 2 keyframes when I tween the keyframes, the foot is not where I want it to be. What's the best way to work around/avoid this issue? If it makes a difference I am using the EDAPT plugin. Here is a video showing the issue. Everything was working fine, then suddenly when I try to export a video/media file to Media Encoder, the Encoder app launches, but doesn't receive the file from Animate. I'm exporting as H.264, but I've also tried as an MOV and MPEG4.I tried to export directly to the desktop as an MOV file without using Media Encoder, but when I try to open it, I get a INCOMPATABLE WITH QUICKTIME message. Premeiere is also unable to open the file.The only answers I saw about this on this forum was someone saying that theirs magically started working again.  Currently running:Animate 23.01Media Enconder 23.1 (build 81)MacBook Pro OS Monterey 12.6.3 Thanks, John 

I'm using a code block to insert the HTML with the following Publish settings: Center stage horizontally, Make responsive by width, no Scale to visible area, and using Spritesheets. These settings have worked best after considerable experimentation. Initially, I encountered an issue with unwanted extra space from the code block, which I managed to resolve using this code: html.squarespace-damask .sqs-blockStatus, .sqs-block .removed-script { display: none !important; }However, I still face challenges with responsiveness. When the page is resized, the canvas doesn't behave responsively. If I make the screen wider, excess space appears at the bottom. Conversely, when the screen is smaller, the next project arrows move too high and end up underneath the canvas. To avoid this, I've been leaving extra space at the bottom, but this solution looks awkward.   How can I make my Adobe Animate project truly responsive on Squarespace?

how do you change the text tool color? it was black but i must have pressed something and now its gray.
