I am having some wild issues when exporting my animation from Adobe animate and Media Encoder. When I play the video, Certain layers appear to be underneath another layer with objects that belong below it. Some effects like transparency from color effect alpha do not register. After a few seconds, it gets even weirder when some animation frames repeat overlapping other parts of the video as well as some objects not appearing at all when they are supposed to. When I go back to Adobe Animate, no issues are found, all layers are where they belong and the animation plays as intended. Am I having a Media Encoder issue? Has anyone had this kind of problem before?I also think that the dialogue does not exactly match the animated vizemes like in the program, I think I heard somewhere about actually changing the FPS to 23.965 and then changing it to 24 FPS when making the final video. I can't seem to import any images onto the Animate stage!! Haven't gone any further than File > Import > Import to Stage.The .ai document wouldn't open. (neither would any other image, eg jpg)Tried saving it in different places (iCloud, external hard drive and desktop) but it didn't make any difference.I'm quite stuck now, so any advice very welcome!!Thank you 🙂Elsbeth

Animate has started giving me an error where I cannot save my document, even if I have been saving in the same location. It suggests saving under a different name or in a new location, but still gives me an error when I try. It just started doing it this week on multiple documents. As someone who uses Animate on a daily basis, I wonder if this is a bug in the latest build since I've never seen this before. Has anyone else experienced this?

hi, i want to add a choose color system so that the player can change it's avatars color (and when the player doesent want to choose the color, it will still select a random color.) so, how do i do it? i want to make the choose color system in the "connect" frame, right here:

I've made two short animations that I want to combine into one file to export as an MP4 video.  I assume I should add a second scene to the first animation and put the second one there.  How do I do that?  When I create a second scene in the first animation and then try to open the second animation file, it just opens as scene one in its own file.  Thanks for the help.

Hello. I'm new to AnimateCC. I've gone through numerous of the beginner tutorials. I'm trying to understand how to utilize this program to bring my ideas to life. I was running into assets (after making them int movie symbols) moving out of position while making adjustments to them within the motion tween. I wanted to parent the components up to try and resolve my issue but I cant test this because every time I open a new (?) file/document (new-character animation-standard-747X420 HTMLS Canvas) the icon for parenting is grayed out and when I mouse over it "Parenting is not supported in this document type" is displayed.., WTF! Sorry. : (

ok so i created this custom brush and these were the settings  its totally normal, nothing wrongbut then i closed animate and opened it againthis happened to my brushim wondering, why did this happen, and how do i fix itplease someone help

I am very sorry, I am sure this is a stupid question, but I just can't seem to figure it out. I have made a looping animation in Adobe Animate. I have gone into the publish settings and given it these settings: I want it to fill the vertical dimension of whatever window I have the browser set to including the mobile window. On desktop it looks great and acts as expected:on mobile it does not:Nevermind that it is not centered, it is not scaling to vit the vertical dimension. There is a whole bunch of white space at the bottom. I have tried changing all of those publish settings and nothing is working. Interestingly it shows the animation correctly for a quarter of a second before resizing it to this incorrect view. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for any help that you can provide! In older version ,We can edit warped image after animation .but now we can't see the vector drawing that will converting to a bitmap image .we can't edit it.please check it.

so I am facing this problem now that i understand the software, that i cant really draw decently in the program. There is only one brush(with different shapes). Any way to add new brushes? Then my next problem(and the potentially biggest) is that i cant lower the sensitivity of my drawing tablet. I have that problem with every program, but is there any way to lower it inside the program? Have you got any idea? And any tips on how to make drawing in animate better so it works approachingly like in clip-studio paint(just as an example).  And another question concerning drawing in animate: do the professionals draw extern from the program and import their drawings into the library? Because that would take a lot of time and would be a big chore since for chanages you would have to do them extrenally. Or do they draw in adobe animate? Thanks for helping me out nick:)🙏🙏

I don't know if you can really see it in the file preview, But the camera is skipping frames and it seems low framrate, While all the other symbols and drawn objects are moving relatively fine like the should be. I have no idea how to fix the camera frame skipping 

I have create a button with a script to send when clicking to an external website. but when I publish or export the video, I have a message error on the action and the button is not working. If I click on the arrow to view the video it seems to work if I enter google address. but if I add an https address and try to export it bugs.Is it a export problem?Is it a "secured link" problem? Thanks for your helpMarion 

Ao usar o warp tool, a imagem estava desaparecendo conforme eu criava os pontos, assim eu não conseguia ver o que estava fazendo. Fechando o arquivo e abrindo novamente, estava tudo normal. Mas, ao editar, o vetor vai sumindo ao clicar nos pontos... Atualizei o Animate para a versão v24.0. Melhorou... não ficou 100% porque, ao criar a malha, ela apareceu deslocada do desenho. Criei uma animação de minhoca em um arquivo e uma animação com um personagem humano em outro arquivo. Ao juntar as animações em um arquivo, a minhoca ganhou braço no lugar do rabo e o personagem ganhou um rabo de minhoca no lugar do braço.... Renomeei os warped shapes antes de juntar as animações; não adiantou de nada  Continua com bug.  Não sei mais onde mexer pra tentar resolver o problema.. está sendo um dia de trabalho perdido. Sem contar as várias vezes que o programa fechou sozinho. Quando achei que tinha dado certo,  ao abrir novamente apareceu "Could not load scene into m

I need to convert a few animations I've created on Flash (swf) years ago to mp4. I've got the original fla files and I could open them on Animate. I just cannot convert them to mp4... I've read other discussions about this subject but I couldn't find the solution for my problem. I've tried many online converters but they didn't work, I don't know what to do to solve it.  Please help.  😬 Thank you!! Maria

Hi there, I am trying out An for the first time and having some trouble--I think this is a very basic question. Some of my layers are not visible (in the screenshot, only the bottom layer is visible). These seems to be corrolated to whether the small gray circle is filled in. I can't seem to figure out how to change that (all my google searches show results for filling in shapes). Any tips? Thanks!

For some reason, Animate has recently been ignoring the file folder I select when I try to publish to HTML. This only happens with the output file path, nothing else. I click on the folder icon to select the destination in the Finder window that pops up, but after making that selection, the file path remains unchanged. I have to type in the file path manually now, which is fairly annoying. Has anyone run into this and found a solve?

After a while after I started making my animation, my files in the library started to disappear.

Hello, I'm developping a game with several screens and a lot of assets (png, jpg..), and I would like to separate the assets in multiple FLA files so that I can export more quickly instead of exporting all in one time.I've succedded in doing that with adding the javascript files of the libraries in my html page and it works great with vector files (because they are in the JS file). But with spritesheets and single image files, it doesn't work, in fact they are not loaded.How can I add the libraries to the loader (createjs.loadQueue) ?In my HTML script there are these lines : var loader = new createjs.LoadQueue(false);loader.addEventListener("fileload", function(evt){handleFileLoad(evt,comp)});loader.addEventListener("complete", function(evt){handleComplete(evt,comp)});loader.addEventListener("progress", function(evt){handleProgress(evt,comp)});loader.loadManifest(lib.properties.manifest);But it only loads the "comp" library. Been using animate for many  years ,  and now suddenly the version(s) on Sonoma are buggy - and really messing up my workflow:1- JPG Optimized images imported into Animate, when published nearly double the size when published - ie. 45kb from photoshop, end result 101kb after publishing from Animate - Tried on multiple computers with 2023 and 2024 - cannot revert to any previous versions since I am on Sonoma and Ventura. Any ideas what is going on ? I want it to work how it supposed to the last 20+ years (flash+animate).2- "test movie" no longer opens up a browser window. You have to manually open the .html file everytime - which is kind of a pain - and does not work as expected. I know there are some hacks out there, but not real good ones.

I did a site using Flash and ActionScripot 2.0. Back then you could publish your Flash to 100% height and width. The site as shown in image is 100% vector. I have the original file and converted to HTML5.The hamonica would drop in frm the top left and the guitar would be up from the bottom right.I tried in the publication settings doing stretch to fit which worked good for the harmonica dropping but cut out most of the bottom sections. If the option to stretch to fit horizontally exists is there a vertical.The animations are important here coming from the side of the browser and not the middle. Is it not the best idea to publish in this manner, a complete site?

Hello.Is there any way to place the Warp Tool pin points in precise locations, for example in the exact center of a circle? This should not be difficult yet I can't find any way to make the points snap to precise positions.

Hello! I've been having a problem with Animate CC and it's that when I copy an image from Photoshop or any other place and try to paste it in Animate CC the image loses its quality and it looks blurry. I don't know how to fix this, so please, help.

can only export as gifs it sucks
