Hello everyone.I'm trying to find out if it's possible to create one source animated HTML5 banner in AA, which I spread to other dimensions and correctly adjust what will be needed. It's the same as Google Web Designer has it. Working in it is simple, but it has its ups and downs.For library reasons and interdependencies, I want to keep it all in the Adobe family.Thanks Adam Kubin 

I recently started to use the app more, You can’t add multiple cameras or a layer on top of the camera layer 😢 they need to work on the app a bit more

basically, I rotated the torso slightly on every frame, but only the torso shows onion skin, although everything else is linked to it through armature/rigging. I need all body parts to show onion skin, please help.

Hi Guys I managed to get all my buttons work correctly. now i need some help with sound/music. I need the title music to play at the start of my project frames 1-28 where my first bit of frame by frame animation runs with it. But when I test project the animation runs ok but no music. But when i press button to go to another part of the project and return to home page the animation plays ok again and the music to but only for the duration of the short  animation. I need the music the keep playing in that area 1/28 until the user press a button and move on.Help! AlanY

Just this week, Import to Stage is greyed out from the import options. Don't know what I did but I need to undo it.

I was trying to learn some javascript. I'm not good at coding, but can get stuff done with actionscript as I've used it since 2001 or so. Haven't really done anything interactive in Animate in years so I started with something easy: pressing a button makes the timeline go to a certain frame. So first off the frame numbering is different from actionscript. In EaselJS the first frame is 0 and in Actionscript it's 1. Ok, I can live with that, but what I can't live with or understand is why the frame numbering in Animate's timeline won't start from 0 then? I understand that this would be the case for projects that use ActionScript, but if you do a project file in HTML5 that uses javascript it uses the same frame numbering system and this makes everything so difficult to work with or understand. Add insult to injury everytime you export the project you get an output error message reminding you of the frame numbering being different from what you see in the timeline. Hello! I'm trying to make a countdown timer with AS3 in a dynamic text box to add to my timed puzzle game. The "100" simply won't show up in the text box. The code: var nCount = 100;timer_txt.text = nCount.toString(); I tried this exact same code in a new document, and it worked perfectly. However, in the file I'm editing, there's already a lot of extra (not DRY) code that I think is interferring with the timer.I would copy paste my existing code but it's 1600+ lines and would clog up this post (happy to put the code up later if someone needed it). Any help would be appreciated! 

I need a bit of help. I'm trying to make an animation with some face movement, but for some reason, the face and mouth just snap to the top of the stage for no reason. I didn't change anything, nor did I do anything different, it just snapped up top for no reason.This frame and onwards is the troublemaker.But the ones before behave correctly.The parenting hasn't changed, the face is still connected to the head, and it functions just fine with those frames, but it just breaks onwards. Please, I need help to fix this or atleast find out whats wrong.

Hi. I'm an animator who works on Animate CC, and a few months back an odd error showed up: I couldn't open the files provided by my studio anymore without Animate just instantly freezing. It will not respond, no matter how long I wait. After some trial and error, I figured out that this error only occurs when there are MP4 files in the library. The same issue happens if I try to import an MP4 file into a pre-existing file. Unfortunately, my studio uses MP4 files for storyboards, so that makes any work impossible to do. My workaround so far has been using a separate computer to delete said MP4s from the FLAs, convert them to FLVs and put them back in. That option is no longer possible for a few reasons. Over the course of a few months I have tried absolutely everything I could think of:  Fresh reinstallationTried installing multiple versions of Animate CCReset preferencesUpdated driversUpdated Windows several timesSeveral other things that I can't remember

Hello, this problem does not work in Adobe Animate 2022 and 2023, import fl.VirtualCamera;, although it works fine in 2019, why is this? I thought that fl, as was not in the folder, well, it is there, I looked for answers on the Internet and found nothing on this topic, thanks in advance

Hey there, I've tried everything to get my animation exported out of Animate - the export process to Media Encoder is completely fine... but the result of the export is absolutely shocking.... graphic symbols not playing, character rigs bugged/broken, camera is not even close to what I've actually filmed. I've tried exporting the animation into smaller chunks (0-500 frames, 501-1000 etc), which seemed to work for the first 1500 frames, then I get to a particular character in a scene and the character rig is completely broken. This isnt the first time this has happened over the years but it's becoming a complete joke now - putting hours upon hours into making content and time and time again the same issues. The newer versions of this software seem to be more buggy than the previous. I just dont understand how the published version can be so far from what I've created within Animate. If anyone has any suggestions or has experienced similar issues, I would really

Hello there,I am trying to extract images, and graphics from old Animate files . How would I be able to do that?

Hi guys, For over a year now I'm having some very annoying font issues inside Animate. Certain fonts like Work Sans don't display correctly when I export on PC, and it fills in the 'A' and 'E''s completely white. And there are also issues with regards to spacing and positioning. Leading will be different and sometimes the text will display lower, ruining the layouts. The strange thing is that inside the program itself, while I'm creating HTML5 banners, everything displays correctly. The bug only shows up once I export the banners to HTML5/JS. And oddly enough, it's also only inside Animate that I have this issue. No other Adobe software. But it's very annoying and slows down our workflow quite a bit. And I can't choose a different font given that it's our clients' brand. I always have to export on a mac or via remote desktop, which is a big waste of time. Especially if we have to make a whole lot of banners. I've also tried changing the textfield to dynamic text, but the

FLVPlayback: 2.1.0.2.3 Blue Error Box When Importing Video Into Animate. They are mp4 files, and have never had this issue before. This doesn't happen every time, usually when I have to take a video into a video editing program to remove the audio, even when I use Adobe Premiere Rush. Someone please help! I've been dealing with this off and on for a few weeks now. I have no idea what else to try. 

So I'm working on a project in Animate and randomly, after I did a brush stroke, the mac cursor loading screen appeared and it refuses to go away so I can't use my mouse and work on my project. The cursor works on every other application but when I hover the curosor on animate, the mac loading screen appears and I can't work on anything. Is there anyway for me to get everything back to normal aside from quitting animate? The last thing I wanna do is reset and lose my progress, or even worse, corrupt the file. Any help is greatly aprreciated.

I have tried EVERYTHING, and this tool isn't working still. Lock fill is off, object drawing mode is off, everything is on a single layer, idk how to solve this tbh. I have spent all day trying to fix this. I'm working in Adobe Animate 2022

 So I have this assignment I'm doing and the video I was given was to put this script for a play and stop button but every time I tried it gave me this error I looked for different ways to resolve it like turning off advanced layers but it did not work, I am very new to this please help. 

Hello everyone! 🙂I am planning to buy a Wacom Cintiq 16 pen dislpay for 2D animations. I have never animated before and therefore I am asking for advice from experienced artist/users in this community.  As a general question:Does Adobe Animate cc work properly on the Wacom Cintiq 16 pen display? (I was not able to find a direct answer to this question and at the moment, I am not able to ask for help in a multi media store due to the coronavirus situation.) If it does work, is the combination of this software and this specific pen display a good choice? Or do you know/use any other alternative pen display in the same price range that defintly works with Adobe Animate?I am personally a pro artist in "traditional drawing/painting" (paper and canvas). This is the reason why I don't want to invest in a drawing pad without a display where I cannot see my animation process directly on the drawing device. Using version AA23.0.2 on Macbook Pro OS Catalina 10.15.7.Whenever I create a nested symbol I can no longer export to video/media. I can get to the settings window but when I hit export nothing happens - no error window, nothing. I am able to export to mp4 when I do not have any nested symbols in the file.I am also able to export my past animations that I've made in the past with this method.  Just to be clear,  what I mean by nested symbol is that I create an animation (for example a bee moving its wings) as a symbol then come back to the top layer and move that symbol across my stage so that I can keep my timeline from getting unwieldly.  I've been creating short animations (no more than ten seconds long) to post on Instagram for about a month or so and this has never happened before. To explain my workflow a bit more, I create my illustrations on Illustrator and import them to Animate.  A solution would be much appreciated. Thanks. 

Hello everybody,I dont know why, but Animate ring sometimes when i use differents shortcut of my software.(since i use it).I use animate with an Xp-pen tablet. Even if i restart the driver nothing change.The sound, looks likes an error sytems but animate dont freeze or slow down.I needed to mute the sound of my computer for working.if it's possible to mute just the sound of adobe animate ? Thank you for your answer !
