I'm finishing up an animation and I'm getting ready to export the file, but I realized last minute that the character's arms go past the stage canvas on top, meaning it won't export that part of the character animation. I tried adjusting the stage's size so it can fit, but when I make the stage taller in height, it only creates space downards when I want space to be created upwards. Is it possible to do the thing that Adobe Illustrator does and just adjust the canvas size by dragging the size manualley?  If that's not an option, I've been also trying to use the "edit multiple frames" button but it only move one frame instead of the entire animation when I drag it towards the center. Any help is greatly appreciated!

So I made an eye animation, and the pupils kind of go out of the eye so I decided to use clipping mask, the pupils are animated as they are supposed to be without clipping mask but when I turn it on the left pupil dissappears for the part where its supposed to be animated, even though it shows up fine when clipping mask is off, please help. 

yes i know about ctrl+mouse scroll its just that its too hassle to do when im on my pentab, so i hope there is a scrubby zoom plugin or any tip to do the trick or whati mostly scrub zoom then draw then scrub zoom then edit again in photoshop thats too hassle to do in animate if i need to do it using mouse

Is downloading Flash/Animate for free legal, even if I use a legitimate serial number? I believe I asked this a bunch of times and got the same answer. Hello. I am an animator. My job is to create just MP4 files, not interactive content with interactive elements. I have no experience with ActionScript yet, but I imagined two examples of ActionScript usage. 1. PhysicsWhen there is a character animation holding a torch, implement smoke physics in ActionScript. When scrubbing the timeline in the Animate GUI, of course you won't see any smoke. But in the swf runtime, the torch symbol will emit smoke and automatically react to the character's movements. Output this as an MP4 file or PNG sequence. 2. Timeline controlCreate a 100-frame scene and use ActionScript to control the timeline so that different frames are played according to the input of the audio waveform. My Animate UI text on top tool bar is incredibly tiny I have tried preferences but no link to changing . I have tried workspace essentials from Small to essentials . I have tried reset . Nothing seems to work. We have Adobe CC and Photoshop UI text is fine Appreciate any help please 

Hello, I am animating some ad creatives from Figma. The ad creatives have a specific line height; however, I don't seem to see how I can adjust this setting in Adobe Animate. Is there a way to do this, or should I just export my text as an SVG? Thank you very much in advance!

I need to recreate ad creatives from Figma in Adobe Animate. However, when I apply the values from Figma to Animate, the line height appears much larger than intended. Why is this happening, and how can I make the line height align with what I have in Figma? Thank you in advance!

Hello! After buying Animate CC, I discovered on Youtube that there was something called the Deco Tool that you could use to create smoke animations (among other animation presets). This was perfect, as I needed some smoke in the animation I was making. So I look around in the Tools section and notice that the Deco Tool isn't there. So what's happening?

In the snake charmer exercise, you're supposed to click the"musical notation bitmap. The bimap becomes a warped asset and a mesh is superiposed on it.Notice that there are additional control points on the four corner points..."No matter how many times I try it, there are no control points on the corners, but instead a red and green joint. If I try to delete the joint, it deletes the mesh as well. Help 

Hello,This is my first time on the Adobe Forums so I apologize if this is in the wrong place. I am using Adobe Flash CS3 and want to start to learn how to animate. Drawing with a mouse (or trackpad) is horrible so I wanted to use my laptops touchscreen. But I found out that I can only draw if the sliders on the right and bottom are locked, if I'm zoomed in too much it just pans the screen. So to actually draw with my touchscreen, I have to click 'Fit in Window' in the top right, which is annoying because its really zoomed out. I want to be able to 'lock' the screen when zoomed in so I can't pan, but have found no option in the program so far. I know a touchscreen isn't the best tool for animating in the long run, but I just want test the program out before buying a wacom. My laptop is the Asus VivoBook Flip (not sure what exact model). I am running Windows 10 Home version 1803.

Drew triangle, saved as symbol. Multiple occurrences, tweens, tints, motion. i have a voiceover i am trying to animate, and i cant skip to a frame to hear one word (i am playing the animation) i just hear nothing, and have to go back to the first frame to hear anything. i am a beginner.

I've made an HTML5 billboard-ad in Adobe Animate with serveral urls in the timeline, but the paper is having problems validating the code in Google Ad Manager. I have a question concerning animate cc. I have made an animation on white background. When I export it as gif everything is ok. If i use the camera and export the gif it creates a black outline around the gif. Is it a bug or there is something which i can do to avoid the black outline?  I attach a still frame of the gif loaded on safari. Thank you for your time and help.

Hello everyone, I have experience with python scripting in blender and appscript in google sheets. I'd like to create extensions for Adobe Animate to help my teammates with naming and file import/export tools to prevent human error when they try to follow naming conventions, and to support batch processing for multiple or nested symbols. However, from what I've researched, there seem to be a number of different ways to create extensions for Adobe animate, or major changes, and the website organization of them is confusing to me. What is the best way to create an extension for adobe animate as of 2023? It would be great if you could introduce me to important terms and concepts, and tell me what web pages to visit.

Hi, I am new to Animate and working on shapes but I only see fill option and do not see stroke option for some reason while my shape is selected. Can someone please help me where am i making the mistake?

Hello there I just want to know where i can find the lipsync option.I already looked in the object properties while i selected the graphic but I still cant find it. Beginner's question: Segments of one of my layers are greyed out.  The layer is invisible wherever these darker frames appear.  I can't work out how to reenable them.   Any assistance greatly appreciated. 

This is recently happened. Has anyone experienced lip sync becoming slightly off after exporting as H.264 video? In the beginning of the scene, it's dead-on. by the end, it's slightly off, but noticeable.

I also tried setSelectedLayers with the same result.timeline.setSelectedLayers(targetLayer); If I put a plain number in place of targetLayer it selects that layer no problem. Is this a bug or is there a work around?

Current version of Animate doesn't work at all. Support person tried to change absolutely everything about the computer, which did nothing. Animate just crashes when making a new document. It absolutely does not work. Nobody would give this software a chance. It doesn't have issues. It 100% doesn't work. Support just leads to a huge waste of time and no solution. 

I just downloaded the trial version of Adobe Animate as i want to learn how to create html5-banners. i have a short video clip I'm planning to use in the banner but i'm having problem importing it. The "Import video" is not "clickable" under files/import and when i click on "import to library", I just get a error message saying the file (FLV) saying it isn't able to be imported. I'm using a mac.
