I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I've been doing Zoom Adobe training with someone who uses two screens for their administrative workflow. The issue is, when they open an Audition project on their end, the multitrack window is blank. We did find a blue multitrack option in one of the left hand panes. But when they click on it, it opens the multitrack in a separate window, sort of floating above the background screen. Is there a way to embed the multitrack window back into the multitrack screen? I'm sure it has something to do with their use of duel screens, but I have no clue how to fix it. Joey

Pretty new to Audition, but climbing the steep hill as I edit an audiobook... I am wondering if there is a toggle or something so that I can see the 'edges' of clips (say, pasted in room tone over top of heavy breathing) in Wave form editor?  In multi-track (this is not a multi-track file, just a mono) I can see the edges and slide them, but in Waveform, after I past in a clip, there is no visual evidence I made the paste?   Or if i wanted to paste in some intro/outro music and add a fade in/out - without edges to the clip I can't adjust the fade? I must be missing something obvious. Either in setup or the workflow of Audition. Thanks.  

This is making me a little crazy. Intermittently and with no apparent reason, pinch and zoom will just stop working temporarily in Audition. I can scroll and otherwise manipulate the session, but cannot pinch and zoom. If I bring the pointer up to the zoom bar I can use that, but can't zoom from the trackpad. If I click around in the timeline and just keep pinching and zooming it eventually comes back. I'm going a little nutty here. Anyone have any suggestions? Running the latest version of CC Audition, 22.5 on a 2017 MacBook Pro.

I have been adjusting my audio hardware preferences to assure I have the laptop speakers selected as the default output. I'll get about a second of the WAV file to play and then no audio even though the level bars are moving. I was using a preview file from Adobe Stock, but I don't believe that is the issue because I opened an old Multitrack from a different project with no stock, and the same results happened. I am using the 2024 version of Adobe on Windows 11.

Hi, I have trouble, I have bought 110 new UAD plugins bundle and got them successfully into the Audition, but it appears that the list is too long to show everything in the selection window during choosing plugin. And what is worse - this list in unscrollable, so I can use barely half of it. Can anybody help me, Thank you.   

Someone posted about this issue previously but it didn't appear to be resolved and now I have the same issue.I'm getting no sound on Audition 3.0 during playback. The waveform is there but no matter what I do I can't hear anything. I also have Audacity on this PC and that works fine, along with other programs. Have I missed something really obvious? I'm using Adobe Audition 3.0 and my PC is a Dell (Inspiron 3650)

My saved wav form was 30.4 minutes, the radio says its 20 minutes what could have happened?

Audition 2024MacOS Sonoma After a recent system restore from a MacOS Time Machine backup I am unable to successfully launch Adobe Audition. The application will launch and get hung up at the initializing (audio devices) stage. I have tried launching the app while holding the shift key.I have uninstalled the application, restarted my computer, and reinstalled the app. Crash.Used the CC cleaner, restarted, and reinstalled the app again. Crash.  

Hello, I am super super new with this software.I have some issues and I can't record above 15hz and my client ask me to be 20hz and above. Also audition doesnt let me record or I have a hard time to record. All the files I upload are set up at 15hz. It is set up at 48000, mono like my clients requested. What are the extra setting should I do to make it work ? Also, how do I record or convert in wav ?

I've already spliced them up and ran a batch process on filters for them and the easiest method for me to listen to the takes when choosing the best one is to stack them like this. I am using Adobe Audition 2020 to record podcasts.  I am using an audio interface Behringer U-phoria UMC404HD 4 channel.  When i tried to record in audition, it only has 2 audio input channels, but we use  3 mics.  All 3 mics are plugged in the interface but only the 1 and 2 show up in mapping.  I tried downloading and enabling ASIO but Audition still only shows 2 channels.  I then downloaded an older driver version from Behringer (the new edition driver only enables 2 channels at a time.) I now see all 4 lines in the Audio Hardware section (I am using WASAPI and the interface) but when i go to Audio Hardware Mapping, it still is only 2 channels.  I feel like im missing something.  Can someone please help me get the third mic to work? We use the waveform audio file, not the mutli track session.

In version 22 of Adobe Audition, when I made a TIME SELECTION through highlighting a section with the tool, I could then hit record and it would record over EVERYTHING in the highlighted time selection exactly from beginning to end of that selection.  I use this to manually clean areas of background sound.  In the versions after 22, when I highlight a TIME SELECTION and hit record, it does NOT record the entire selection exactly, but stops short about a fraction of a sec at the end.  Is this a setting or a bug?  Why is this now the new default?  Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've been using AA 1.5 for ages (yes, I know, but I like it!) on Windows 7 and have now installed it on a Windows 10 laptop.  All went well and seems stable.  But I can only hear the output on the internal speakers.  It appears on the volume mixer and I can set the output to headphone (or USB interface) on advanced settings, but it still only comes out on internal speakers.  Any ideas? I created a multitrack session for a film, some months ago, and in it would have a lot of inserted audio clips already sync'd to the video. A new cut has been transfered to me and I must polish and make adjustments to the old soundtrack. I want to avoid re-inserting all the clips I added as that is tedious and, ideally, just re-sync, the tracks to the new cut while having freedom to edit the individual clips (so mixing down the old session is not an option here). I'm trying to combine that older session with the new one but the option to insert a new session is greyed outUnder Edit tool: The old .sesx was created within the 2024 Audition so I don't believe it's a version mismatch - even then, why would the option be unavailable for "New Multitrack Session..."What must I do? I'm open to alternative solutions to combining/merging the two separate .sesx files.

Wann erscheint die Audition Version für den neuen Windows ARM Snapdragon Elite? Gibt es da schon Informationen. Kann man trotzdem die aktuelle Audition Version irgendwie installieren, bis die neue Version erscheint?

Kendi ufak çaplı bir çizgi film yapıyorum ve birden fazla karakter seslendirmem gerekiyor fakat adobe auditionda farklı bir ses yaptım ve kaydettim , efektler ile. Şimdi tekrar aynı karakteri seslendirme yaptım, fakat diğer dosyamdaki ses efektlerini bulamıyorum . Bu diğer dosyama eklediğim efektleri kolay yolda şuan ki projeme kopyalamamın kolay bir yolu yok mu ? Ne yaptıysam ilk dosyamdaki sesimi elde edemiyorum . Lütfen yardım edin.

Grüß euch! Ich bin neu bei Audition und habe mich jetzt ein paar Tage lang damit "herumgespielt". Gefällt mir eigentlich sehr gut und ich verwende es für unseren Podcast.  Eine Frage hätte ich jedoch. Wahrscheinlich bin ich einfach nur blöd um dahinterzukommen. Ich will bei einem Clip ein Fadeout bzw. Fadein nur bis oder ab einem gewissen Level machen. Das heißt, z.B. im Podcast die Hintergrundmusik, anfangs laut, aber während des Textes leise. Und da einfach einen Fadeout bis zur Lautstärke, die ich benötige. Am Ende des Textes dann wieder ein Fadein bis zur gewünschten Lautstärke.  Wie realisiere ich das in Audition? Danke schon im Voraus.  Gruß aus Graz 

Hi,In trying to salvage old stereo vinyls, I'm having a problem with the de-click process. After tayloring the process through the Click/Pop Eliminator window (see first screen shot), and applying it to the recording (FLAC files), I get a very satisfactory result for channel 2. Instead,  Channel 1 is left unchanged, as if no processing at all had been applied to it (see the second screen shot). Could anyone help me to understand what I'm doing wrong?Thanks,Paolo Viviani

I'm trying to convert/restore some old vinyls and I'm having a problem with the Click/Pop eliminator. I'm running Audition CC 2019, Mac OS Mojave 10.14.3. When I run the tool on a stereo recording, it does a great job of removing clicks and pops but only from the right channel. It does nothing for clicks and pops in the left channel. Here's the waveform before I run the tool:Here's the waveform after I run the tool:As you can see, it removes most of the obvious clicks and pops from the right (bottom) channel, but it does nothing for the left (top) channel. What am I doing wrong?

Why am I getting this error? It says that I'm missing  Rx 9 Voice De-noise but the plugin is not missing.

When I exported audio from Premiere Pro to fix it after fixing the audio, I could not export the audio. Is there any solution for this? 

Hi, I am producing a podcast, and after 1 month of using Audition CC multitrack without any problems, I am now experiencing major problems.The problem starts when Audition freeze for a very long time, and I can not do anything with in the program. Then I get the message "Audition has encountered a error reading or writing to disk. We recomend you save and restart Audition". Even this message is freezed and I can not click on or save anything. Then I have to force the program to close. Every time I try to make changes in the program it freezes and the exact same problem occurs with the same message. I am working on an ekstern harddisc with a lot of space, so that is not the problem either. I am now in a situation, where I nor can export anymore or save the file elsewhere than where it was stored on the harddisc.I managed to export the first 8 minutes and 8-18 minutes out of the 35 minutes (But i'm not even finished editing this) by selecting the two small bits and exporting them instead

I have tried all of the suggestions and it still will not play. Is there any new ideas that may be the reason why it will not play? My computer was made specifically for podcasting: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600K 3.70 GHz with 64 bit operating system, Windows 11. Thanks in advance. I've been trying for an entire day to recover my project that I've been working on for months. When I open it, I get a pop-up that says my file is missing. When I try to link the media, it asks me to find a sound instead of the missing file. After relinking the sound, the multitrack session freezes the DAW and nothing plays back or loads. I've tried resetting Audition and reinstalling it, as well as reaching out to customer service, but nothing has worked. I've also searched online, but I only find Premiere Pro tutorials. However, everything works fine when I make a new session. Panicking like crazy cuz I don't know the problem. pictures are below to kind of explain what's happening  P.s it probably has to do with the sample rate because when I press play it says playing but it also says resampling to match the sample rate of 44100 though it's still not playing anything
