New folder of NEF files and go to open in Bridge but get this:  “The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were noCamera Raw files or selected files were read-only.” Any suggestions or workarounds to this gli8tch?  I tried rebooting  but the same. 

I'm using Bridge 14.1.0 on a Mac running Sonoma 14.4.1. I would like to display the Description metadata field in Slideshow captions. In Settings > Thumbnails I have specified "Show: Description" and I can see the Descriptions just fine in the Bridge window when I select "View > As Thumbnails". However when I play a Slideshow by going to "View > Slideshow Options..." and choosing "Caption: Full", I see only the filename, with blank space below it. In fact I am unable to display any other metadata at all. Is there a fix/workaround for this?

Bonjour,Dans Bridge, certaines vignettes sont sur fond blanc, d'autres ont un fond transparent. Je voudrais que toutes les vignettes affichent la transparence, car plusieurs de mes objets sont en blanc et je ne peux pas les gérer dans bridge sans transparence. Il s'agit de fichiers .aiIl n'y a bien sûr pas d'arrière plan blanc dans ces fichiers. J'ai passé les plans de travail en couleur dans illustrator, mais cela ne change rien.J'ai activé la transparence de Bridge. Avez-vous une explication ou une solution ?Merci ! 

I'm starting to use Bridge 14.1.0.257, and when I look at the user guide, the workspace area at the top of the screen shows Essentials, Libraries, Filmstrip, Output, Metadata, and Workflow.  I only see Essentials. I've attached screenshots of what I see in the user guide and what I see.  I've edited workspaces to put Filmstrip and Output below the word "Bar", and Bridge will only display Essentials.  I can access Libraries, Filmstrip, Output, etc if I click on the double arrow to the right of Essentials.  I've uninstalled Bridge and deleted Preferences and reinstalled and have the same results.  Has there been a change to Bridge where I should only use the double arrows or is there something I have to do that I missed? Gary

Howdy, I've noticed as of yesterday that bridge is failing to save brush masks.  I can apply the mask and everything looks good, but once I click "Done" in the lower right corner, the brush masks are not saving.  The Brush Masks do appear if I save my RAW file out as a JPG from Bridge, but they do not appear when I open the RAW file in photoshop.

I'm unable to star rate images. No matter how I try to rate them whether using the keyboard shortcut or the Label menu. All it does when I rate the image there is a quick flash of text (Writing metadata to C8576584.CR2) and no rating is applied. I was able to clear cache and the rating showed up, then I wanted to change the rating and it doesn't work again and it doesn't work on other images either. 

I have a large batch of multiple panos. I want to take these raw files and merge them into panos. But... I don't want to do one set at a time.  Is there a way to batch process panos in Bridge or PS? Thanks,Scott

I am trying to export a PDF where I dragged in files for a work server. Whenever I hit export PDF it looks like all images are going to load but then this message appears "Some of the files are not valid". I'm then moved to Adobe Acrobat where half of the images are needed are not on the PDF. Has this ever happened and been solved for anything?   

I've seen that the templates are supposed to be stored on a MAC here: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge 2024/Output Module/TemplatesOn Sonoma 14.0 there is no directory "Output Module"Can anyone help here? Many thanks! Andrew

All of a sudden just now all of my NEF files are opening up into Camera Raw 15.2 from Bridge with neon pixels all over them.  I was opening up files just fine and then all of a sudden this, see attached.  All thumbnails are fine and even if I continue to open it in Photoshop it opens up fine.  It's just in Camera Raw from Bridge it looks like this.  I can't edit in post with it like this, any ideas? I've already restarted my computer and nothing.

I prefer to simply press the "1" key instead of Crtl +1.Is there any option to change this? It can be anything else, other keys, as long as 1 button. Dawid 

After purchasing a new screen, I have issues with my colors when working in Camera Raw, Bridge and PhotoshopScreen is Dell U3223QE – we have not used a professional calibration tool. Colors have been adjusted to look like prints and old screen which was calibrated. When I open a folder in Bridge, I see the thumbnails but if I mark the thumbnail, the tone of the image changes. Sometimes from warm to cold and sometimes from col to warmExample:I open Bridge: I mark the thumbnails and they change to a cooler tone Color settings in Bridge is: When opening the DNG image in Camera Raw, it opens in the warm tone Color settings in camera Raw are the following: When I then open from DNG converter (no adjustments), it opens in Photoshop in a cooler version Color settings in Photoshop are: Windows and other software:When previewing in windows, the tumbnail is showing the warm color but when opening the image, the cooler version are displayed. Upgraded Bridge and Photoshop last week. Merge to HDR pro shows up in Bridge but it will not launch Photoshop and perform the merger.  Bridge version 14.10.257 and Photoshop 25.9.0I have a windows 11 pc

I am generating contactsheets using Bridge Output module. Issue: it takes over 30 minutes to generate a contactsheet from 200 JPG files. My Setup:My computer is SUPER fast in general - e.g. using Camera Raw, RAW conversion of 200 NEF takes 2-3 minutes.M1 Max; 64 GB RAM; FAST NVME SSDMacOS: Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224) - the latest versionBridge 2024 - the latest version.Input images: 36 Megapixel 10 MB each, with previews already rendered in BridgeOutput: PDF contactsheet Obsevations:I've experienced this issue for many prior generations of Bridge on MacOSWhen contactsheet is being generated, I obseve that .jpg files are getting created at this path:/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge 2024/OutputModule/ImageCacheThese jpg-s are appearing VERY SLOWLY, and they are just ~500 KB each.While contacheet generation is executing, the progress bar starts at 25% and stays there the entire time. For Bridge 14.0.1.137 on Mac with OS Sonoms 14.1, using Find command to height, width usually returns an all items in current folder or nothing found. I've trued number + in, ", cm. inches, or nothing but number.  Other Find parameters fuch as File Name work fine. For example, I want to find images in a folder with dimensions  width = 6, height =6, assuming the values mean inches. If there a fix in Bridge for this? Or is it A PEBKAC? --Gene

I see the photos on the flipstrip, but then when I go to click on the image, the preview window is all streaked. The same occurs when in review mode.  See photo below.  Images are shot on Nikon Z8, 8256x5504. Files are on external 4TB drive.

I just logged into bridge this morning and the constrain crop check box does bring the crop down to the image borders. The transparent pixels are not clipped away. How to fix this?

Have installed Photoshop CS6 and in using Bridge I get the message "Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. Please try purging the central cache in Cache Preferences to correct the situation". If purge the central cache as instructed, on the start up of Bridge I get the same message and are unable to use Bridge.I am on a Mac using OSX 10.7.4Your help will be appreciated

Is there any way you going to fix that? It takes hours to generate previews of the Nikon z8 files.Noone can work like that. Are there any information about when is that problem is going to be fixed? have you find the issue?

I cull my images in Bridge and my workflow used to be 1) open the image from Bridge, 2) adjust in Camera Raw, 3) further edit in Photoshop, 4) Save PSD as the same file name as the .NEF from the camera, 5) save a JPG also with the same file name.  Now for some reason, after making my adjustments in Camera Raw, when it opens in Photoshop, it adds a "-1" to the file name when it never used to.  Now when I save the PSD, I have to remember to go in and edit the "-1" out of the file name. How do I shut that off?

Hello,whenever i start Adobe Bridge, i get this error message: “Bridge has detected an issue with the display driver and disabled GPU rendering that uses the graphics hardware. Restart Bridge to get the best experience. Visit the manufacturer's website for the latest software.”(Roughly translated) I have two MacBook Pros with the exact same configuration (same model, same hardware specs, same OS version, same Adobe versions), but the error only appears on one of the two MacBooks. So my first thought was that there might be a hardware problem with one of the two MacBooks, but the Apple diagnostic tools says there are no problems. What i tried so far:Updating Bridge to the latest versionReinstalling Bridge completelyRun the Apple diagnostic tool: No errors But the error persists. All other Adobe software that i'm using (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Lightroom) is working as expected. My system specs (on both devices):MacBook Pro, 14", 2021Apple M1 Pro16

 I have a macbookpro m3 pro with a second screen lg. When I review a photo in bridge using the second screen the zoom fail like the image above, distorting the image, but when I am using the integrated screen run well. I am using 2560 x 1440 at 60 hertz. I tried changing to  75 hertz but the zoom screen fail too.
