A few weeks ago I updated to the latest versions of Photoshop, Bridge, Camera Raw, and Lightroom. My version of Camera RAW is 11.4.0.273. Since this updated I have had trouble merging images to HDR. Merge to HDR will not merge more than 4 images in an exposure bracket series of images (1 stop apart). It will give me the message "Error,  The operation could not be completed" if I try to merge 5 or more images. It will merge any 4 images in a series - first 4, last four, every other one, etc, - but only four total. Sometimes it will merge more than four in some bracket series, but I do not know why it works on some series of images and not on others. I can see no difference in file size, types, resolution, or bracket exposures. I did not have this problem before the latest camera raw update. I am creating a profile from a raw file in Camera Raw (11.4.1) and noticed that any Camera Calibrations made are not included in the new profile in Lightroom (8.4.1). There is no box to tick for "Current Image Settings to Include" to include the camera calibration. How do I include the adjustments in my profile?   Thanks   Mike

Hi all,   After the Mac Catalina Update and then the Adobe Update as well, Camera Raw seems to be stuck when it comes to the Radial Filter.   I can use the tool once, but then it seems stuck and never will allow me to switch to the opposite of whatever I had it on previously. If it's stuck on "outside", then it won't ever switch to "inside" when I am creating a "new" radial filter, and vice versa.   I'm on hold in a chat window right now, but it's been quite a while. Will let you know if I find anything.   If anyone else has a solution, please let me know.   Thanks!

Hello - I see there's a lot of talk about ACR color handling of EOS R raw files, but I am not sure I am finding any posts about how to fix that, or maybe I am just not looking in the right place. I have included a scren shot showing the same image as displayed in Photo Mechanic, Capture One and Camera Raw. Any help will be greatly appreciated! 

Is there anyone from adobe, working for adobe, whom I can send my adobe raw presets to, so that person can tell me why they dont work anymore (after the latest update) and how to fix it? Thanks

Hi all - In PS CC.   Working on an image where I need to go to CAMERA RAW filter, then use the RADIAL FILTER for select adjustments.    When I choose INSIDE under effect, it has no impact;  no matter what I do, the effect is OUTSIDE.    Seems to be a buggy thing, but not sure if there is some other parameter that is causing the radial filter not to work correctly.   I use both LR and CC... typically use LR Radial Local Adjustment with no issues -- assume that it would work the same way in CAMERA RAW>RADIAL FILTER. 

Since updating to Mac OS Catalina and Camera Raw 11.4.1 the Adjustment Brush is not working as it should.  After selecting the Adjustment Brush and making some local changes, if I then select "New" for a new local adjustment and begin brushing on the image the "New" radial button automatically switches to "Add" and then new changes are automatically added to the previous local adjustment.  The only way around this is to select another tool i.e. "Gradient Filter" and then re-select the "Adjustment Brush".  I can then add a new local adjustment.  I've flagged this to Adobe via a support chat but still waiting for a response. I'm using:iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) 3.6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i948 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 However I have also performed the same upgrade (Catalina and Camera Raw 11.4.1) on my older Macbook Pro and the exact same issue is occurring.  I wish I'd only upgraded one thing at a time and then at least I'd know which of the upgra

Hi,CS6  raw 9.1.1 I have photographs taken with pop up flash on my eos 70d dslr giving multiple coverage at various angles and positions on a mechanical object about 8 inch long and 4 inch high, those low down near table top on which it rests aiming at its front see a flash fall off, those looking down onto it just shadows from its few external 'gubbins'.Can I use one of those better photos as reference and tell raw to make the other shots match the exposure and appearance of those reference points, so it adjusts each photo, evens out the fall off, and adjusts exposure so I have got a matching set of pics ? Having to fiddle each photo and do each one visually, applying shadow slider, flash fall off slider, exposure adjustment, clarity etc when there are 180 photos, the object being repositioned 5 times so as to get coverage of all parts of it, (its for photogrammetry where evenly lit objects are the best if possible ) is going to take forever. Hoping someone can help me as I've not created profiles before.  Created profiles with Xrite ColorChecker, but when I go into camera raw they are not listed as an option.  I have using the latest version of PS & Camera Raw. I've read lots of posts, but am not sure the profiles are in the right place. The ColorChecker profiles automatically went into 1 CameraProfile folder, but I notice that there seems to be another CameraProfile folder with other profiles...so I'm confused as to which folder they should be in.  However, I copied one of the profiles I created in ColorChecker into the CameraProfile folder that has the profiles for each camera, but I still can't see it in Camera Raw.  Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong & how I may be able to fix it PLEASE.            

Today I updated to the latest Photoshop, ACR and Bridge.  Previous install was great.  I believe I had not updated in a year, but it was super stable.  Also, the Adjustment Brush in ACR is super laggy and before and after.  I'm running on a MacBook Air and I had no problems working on my D850 files until today.  Anyone else having issues?  Any suggestions?

Hi,CS6 and RAW 9.1.1I have photographed pages from a book beyond copyright but the copystand light has caught the curved page and lightened the text there on left edge of page, then in the middle its got the right balance of black text to light grey background, then as the curve bends right the page background colour has gone a bit darker though the other right hand lamp has avoided too much of that, as such opening it in photoshop and adjusting levels to remove the hill at right in the histogram to whiten up the page background, and dragging the black slider in to sort out the grey text, is giving an overall attack when I need to be able to paint a levels effect if you see what I mean, set a tool to different levels settings to suit different parts of the page.I try for burn but the light grey background as well as the text goes dark, I just want to darken the text and not the background on the area that caught the light more. I need to have the effect get less as I work my way across

The current advice is to use Prophoto color space as it provides the widest gammet.   Yet late model cameras only have two color settings available in their menus.  ie RGB & SRGB.  Wont this cause a color mismatch when printing images on home inkjet printers?.

I have PSE 12 and bought a new camera - Canon 7d mark ii - I believe I need Camera Raw Plug-In 8.7 for PSE to read my RAW files, however, I can't find the download. I did, however, download and installed Camera Raw 11.4.1- but when I go back into PSE, and look at what Plug-In its using, it still says version 8.5.0.236. Help! I have about 1,000 wedding pictures I need to sort through and edit! 

unable to update new camera and lenses in photoshop raw to correct lens induced issues, etcHow does one go about doing that.  I have a Mac and need updates for Nikon 850 and Nikon 500 and 8 to 15 fisheye lens (new)

Camera raw as a filter in photoshop is missing , I can not open any raw CR2 even thou I can see the filter in its file, I reinstalled PS I yet is not working simple is vanished from PS filter menu   any help

I have been using an older version of Photoshop (Creative Suite 5.0 - on disk) with satisfaction for many years.  Over the years, I downloaded plugins for newer Nikon camera bodies - D300 & D800 -  and it worked well.  I will now be purchasing a Nikon Z6.  I am aware of the Adobe Digital Negative Convertor what can be used with the raw files from the Nikon Z6, but that's another step in post production.  That said, is it likely that Adobe will be creating a "plug in" for the Nikon Z6/Z7 that will avoid the need for the Digital Negative Convertor.  As you might guess, I have not become a monthly subscription customer of Adobe since what I have now meets my needs.  It may be that as Adobe has migrated to subscription service, "plug ins" have become a thing of the past. 

Hallo,wenn ich mit dem Pinsel in Raw partiell arbeiten möchte und dies mit dem Radierer nachbessere, wechselt das Werkzeug automatisch zum Pinsel zurück. Ich kann quasi das Radiergummi garnicht verwenden. Hat jemand einen Rat?Liebe GrüßeMarc     {Thread title edited by moderator}

The radialfilter in camera raw doesn't work well. I can't change between outside and inside. MacOS Catalina, PS 20.0.6, raw converter 11.4.1.

I just updated my Camera Raw, and all my user presets that I had previoulsy imported are gone! Where did they go?! Can anyone shed some light on this? 

HiI'm hoping this is a simple request!I have thousands of images to process and I just want to set each image to auto.Currently, I'm selecting all images, then selecting auto but this seems to process everything in relation to the auto settings for that one image.How do I batch process all images relative to the auto settings for each image please?I am dyslexic and this is melting my mind!Any advice gratefully received.Thanks, Ben

Al abrir una imagen en formato raw se me abre Camera Raw,  pero el programa se queda paralizado no permitiéndome ninguna acción. He instalado los dos plugin de Camera Raw, he vuelto a instalar Photoshop, he reiniciado el ordenador repetidas veces y el problema persiste. ¿Qué puede suceder?

Could someone please clarify if I can or cannot presets to the menu in ACR so I can browse them by viewing instead of having to load each XMP one by one? I have copied presets to the folder but they never show up. In my research I do see that a lot of people are having issue with installing presets. So can you add additional presets to the menu in ACR as shown in the attached jpg? I would like to be able to buy presets and have them on the menu so I could browse as I can with the current ones I have.
