Hallo, I want to let the user repeat the assessed Quiz, but i can only let them review it.Is there a possibility to repeat the Quiz?Is there otherwise a possibility to integrate a secound assessed Quiz? Thanks 

Is there a way to embed a published HTML5 Captivate project into a webpage such as a Wordpress post? I have tried loading all the files to the server and then using an iFrame. The results are not great. There must be a way to embed the project directly.Thanks for you help.

Hello guys, I've been asked to do changes for an old elearning project. However, it seems that they have lost the adobe captivate file and they only have the publish version. Is there any way of doing the changes on the publish version itself ?

We're in the process of standardizing some Table of Contents styles. This is fine for new projects since we can start with a CPTL template file. But we also have a number of existing projects that all still have the original default style settings for the TOC. Exporting styles to a CPS doesn't seem to work for TOCs. Is there some way to have an existing project import or adopt the TOC styles from another project?In case I'm not explaining this well, I mean the styles (colors, fonts, etc) in the themes area: 

We have a project in CP 2017 that we've placed the slide variable in a smart shape to number the pages.  It showed for a few slides then disappeared.  The variable we used is $$cpInfoCurrentSlide$$.  Now it isn't showing at all.Any ideas?Thank you, Susan

I'm trying to create multiple toggle buttons. When one toggle button is in the ON state, clicking on another toggle button should turn itself ON and the previous button OFF. This is working ok with 3 buttons but after working once I have to click on the button twice to get it to work again.I'm using a transparent button on top of an image with two states (ON and OFF). 

A coworker just received this error message when working in Captivate 2017.What does it mean and where is that AdobeCaptivate.ini doc reside?  He just told me this was while he was trying to do a video demo.Thanks,Susan

I have possibly a simple question here, but where ever I place my placehead in the timeline (multiple assets on slides timed with the audio) all the assets are visible all the time. This makes it very difficult to edit.I have been using Captivate 2019 for awhile now and just recently it started doing this. Is there a setting messed up somewhere? Totally confused. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2019 already.

I am amazed that there is no support for Oculus Go & Oculus Quest.  Initially I was excited for VR and 360 video support in Captivate 2019 and I was planning on rolling VR training out to our enterprise.  But after building some sample content and hosting on our web server I realized it doesn't work with either VR headset.  You cannot click on any of the buttons to interact.  I thought with the HTML5 output this would not be the case, but I have tested both headsets without success.  Please someone tell Adobe to add support for Oculus Go & Oculus Quest.  Support for them will be the driver for VR training success.  I have Captivate 2019 with the latest update and still not working.Can anyone from Adobe tell me when support for these low cost VR headsets will be available?  My VR training efforts are stopped due to this limitation.

I am looking for a solution to create a 360° VR video with branching scenes which would not be self-guided (not controlled by hotspots in the video that the viewer would select) but controlled by a co-viewer who pick the next sequence for the person with the VR headset on. It seems that, with the latest 2019 releases, there are many new features that could contribute but I am not sure it is feasible. Do you have an idea on whether it is possible to implement this live control with Captivate ? Or if you would think of other solutions ?I am using 360 video for health and behavioral analysis. The goal I am trying to achieve is to have no interruption (besides small image transitions) in the VR experience and make the story as seamless as possible with the possibility to select - in real time - the next sequence amongst few alternative possibilities.Thanks for your help/advise.

Hi, For now projects I can see these Transfor propeties under Properties > Options tab. But for the responsibe projects, I can't see it. I enabled my custom workspaces too. But couldn't have a luck. It is really important for me to adjust X,Y,W,H properties properly. Is there any work around?  thanks

Hi My question is about drag&drop properties. I saw on some youtube tutorials that, Drag&Drop interactions have Snap Behaviour and Object Action sections. I couldn't find it in the latest version of captivate? Did they remove it?   Thank you   

Hey, i have an issue with responsive layout in breakpoint mode on mobile view (smartphone). At the end of each slide i have the Button with the action next slide. The big issue is if the height of the next slide is < than the slide before the user will start on the next slide at the bottom. And if the height of the next slide is > than the slide bevore the user will start the slide at the top. This is absolutely not user friendly. Does someone know how to fix this? Please visit this link http://rudi.bplaced.net/ to see what i mean. But you need to use the smartphone it is not optimized for web. Just scroll down on the first page an click "Next". I would be very happy if someone can help me to fix this. I also trief some Javascript things to scroll to top automatically but nothing fixed it. Best regardsManuel

We output to an LMS where the courses are placed into an iFrame. Because there's no "expand view" button in Captivate, the output leaves the fonts small and nearly illegible. Anyone have any ideas of how to expand the viewing experience for users?

Hi I'm working with captivate 2019, and at the moment users are experiencing lag on every slide of my content. This is due to the reporting system and how captivate reporting system interacts with the LMS. Is there a way to optimize a captivate file to reduce the latency that the reporter causes?The LMS that I'm using is Learndash which is a WordPress plugin, and TinCanny owl which is an add-on that allows Learndash to grab data from the xAPI reporter. 

Hi, I am looking to create with a button, when someone rolls over it, the text to audio would then play. See the screenshot. I only want the audio to play when the rollover is shown on the screen. Can anyone help?

Hoping someone has a trick...I am converting several captions on a slide using text to speech.  Since this creates one long audio stream it goes way to fast for the reader to keep up and there isn't any real pause before going to the next caption.  Is there a way to easily put in a pause/silence  before the next caption?  Periods and commas don't slow down the narration hardly at all.  I have seen that I can edit the audio and "Insert Silence" but that is very time consuming and would require redoing it ever time there is a change to the script. 

Hello,  I am using Adobe Captivate 2019 x64. When I record software simulations in demonstration mode, the cursor in the generated slides looks pixelated around the edges:I am able to change the cursor image from its properties, but oddly most of the selections are pixelated as well, and changing the cursor isn't possible in full motion captures.I've tried restarting Captivate, my computer, clearing Captivate cache, resetting Captivate preferences by going to C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Adobe and deleting the Captivate 11.0 folder, and the issue prevails.  Anyone know a fix or what is causing this issue? I've had the issue before and for some reason it went away, but now it's back.  Thanks!

I have just started using Captivate. I was able to create my project without any problems. It has a "click here" option on each slide that advances to the next slide. Can someone tell me if it is possible or if it is possible how to publish the project so that is stays interactive but doesn't need Flash?   [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Hi all, this is my first Captivate project and there are some aspects to publishing that I can't get clear in my mind from the online information. I'm aiming to create an e-learning module which contains some embedded MP4 video content (which my team will create) as well as interactive text. Publishing -- the aim is twofold: 1) to embed the module within an existing company web page 2) have a stand-alone URL on the company web site (e.g. www.company.org/.../e-learning-module.html Looking at Captivate online guidance, I can see the two options: 1) 'Publish for devices' 2) 'Publish to Adobe Connect' What I don't understand is -- 1) 'Publish for devices' : what does this create, exactly? An .html file that could be embedded within a web page, or uploaded to a server at a dedicated URL, as I require? i.e. it's not publishing online, is it, but publishing as in 'project is finished'? I can't see any URL-definitions in the screenshots -- and Adobe don't host anything

Hi,  We have a SCORM with a Single SCO designed to take a learner about 1 hour to complete. However, our data shows that there are some cases where learners are completing it within 40 mins in a single seating. Is there anything that is being configured wrongly. We work with a vendor who designs the courses, so I have no visibility into the captivate settings they've applied. Unfortunately.  Thank you, Jugal

Sorry in advance if this is not the right channel to ask but I wanted ask, we have a single SCO SCORM file. It does not happen always but, in some ocassions our LMS backend is unable to register a completion (however, in the front end is deemed completed). Looking at the LRS, we see that the verb "launched" & "progressed" happened on say, 21st February. But the completion verb was associated with a timestamp of 18th February..  The LMS in this case is getting confused as the completion date occured before the launch date... Is this due to the SCORM settings? it was exported as a SCORM 1.2 file.  Thank you in advance, Jugal

Hi,  We have a passing grade of 80 for learners to achieve a pass/complete. But our LRS/LMS shows that learners are still able to get a pass with scores less than 80 and sometimes even achieving more than 100. The SCORM is designed by a vendor using Captivate and they suggest there is nothing wrong with the configurations.. Can someone guide me through this please.  I would also like to add that this happens in multiple seatings by the learner. We do not observe this when the learner completes it in 1 session.  Thank you in advance, Jugal

Is it possible to add a mouse object inside a fluid box?  We use the mouse often in our non-responsive projects to demonstrate (not for actual user interaction), but when I tried switching to responsive projects and using fluid boxes, I cannot seem to add the mouse within the fluid box.
