I'm using Captivate 2.0 to develop simulations. After publishing the output (Export HTML option activated), I can't view the output on the browser. How do I solve this problem?

I hoping someone might know what's going on with this, cause this keeps happening to slides randomly, especially when we update the powerpoint.Everything in our powerpoints has a fly in animation set to with previous or after previous, but we will have text on random slides, just not show up when exported for html  setting.We'll have some slides where half the text will show, and the other half won't. We've tried multiple things to get this to work properly, but what might work for one slide doesn't seem to always work for the other slides.  We tried resetting the animations, breaking all bullets n paragraphs into separate objects, duplicating layers and deleting the old ones.The first time this happened, we thought we resolved it, but when we did a few text edits in the file, 12 out of 16 slides had text missing in export. All that was changed was two lines of text.We have images with the same animation on almost every page too, but it seems to only be the text that's affect

Hi all, Is there a way to make mouse right Click other, I used the RightClickanimation object i found online. but what i want is on the same slide make more than right click each one goes to a different slide. ex. I have a desktop image which contains icons, say once i right click my computer i'll go to slide, and when i right click My documents icon it'll go to another slide and so on.

I have to update some Adobe Presenter Video Express files. They are no longer in my Recent Projects, but I have the folders saved in "My Adobe Presenter Video Projects."Is there a way to edit them in PVX?  I have to add quizzes, so Premiere won't do the trick.  I wish there was a raw file like .cptx (Captivate)Thanks!!

Hi Everyone, I am creating a non-responsive, scalable project in Cp 2019 (v11). I am using images as buttons. Client sent me a PPT with images and I did a right click on each image and saved each as an SVG. (He wants to use SVGs because this is something that will be going up on the web and quality is better.) Everything looked fine as I was working in Cp and when I previewed in HTML5. What I saw in the output was not what I expected. (I have screenshots below.) I researched and played around with images and settings and I think the cause of what I am seeing might have to do with saving images as SVGs, but I'm still not sure how that is causing the issues I'm experiencing or how to resolve it. Hello,I'm new to captivate and I'm working on updating some existing files.I get the following error when trying to publish:Please enter the domain name associated with the typekitIt's odd. I made a number of changes to this project already and have had no issues with the typekit/publishing, but all of a sudden it wants to me to specify the domain. I returned to an earlier version of the document and the Typekit domain field is greyed out. What would have caused this to change?I tried completely disabling the typekit, but I get the same error.Any suggestions?Thanks,Ian

I changed the title of a project in the Publish window and then saved the project. Each time I reopen it it has the old title. I also put the new title in Prefrences > Information > Project Title and then saved. The old title is still in the Publish window. This has already caused versioning problems. Where am I supposed to change the title so it will save?

Hi I am trying to install Adobe Captivate 2019 for one of our windows 10 users, however whenever i try and run the installation this hangs then freezes. I get no error messages, it looks like the installer just fails. Also when looking on system processes i see the install is not using a load of cpu/memory etc.The user previously had the 2017 version installed on a Windows 7 machine.I have seen a lot of forums posts relating to this issue but have so far found no answers to resolve this.  I am a system admin and so far I have tried many different ways to install this product with no success.I’ve logged as the user /local/domain admin. I have extracted the files as user / admin to local and network locations as well as the current area where other adobe products are installed (Program Files). I have also tried running setup.exe as admin as well as run as a different user and still not able to make progress.I even went as far as trying to install this on a fresh new Window

I am on a Mac using the Fluid Boxes, Responsive Project, with the latest update installed. In Quiz Preferences I want to change the preference for the Quiz to be 'Quiz is Passed' in order to recieve credit, when I press the OK button to save the preferences I get the rainbow spinning wheel of death and have to Force Quit the application.Does anyone know if this is a known issue and if there is a work around?Thanks,Max 

Hello!I am a former print technology professional who is transitioning to becoming an eLearning developer. I have a team project with fellow students at George Washington University I am currently working on.We need to get a Captivate project to "play" inside a web page. I know how to publish files from Captivate (I have a cloud subscription, so assume the latest version). I have my own hosting account, and my own domain. Hi I am using Captivate 2017 on a Mac.I have created and published content as HTML5 and set the domain on the Typekit font.The font is synced and shows up in captivate fineI have set the kit on the typekit website to allow the domains to access it. However on first publishing this text course I mistyped the domain in the typkit window on the dialog box.  Now I can't get to edit it. I have done the suggested fix of Preview the project then publish but to no effect. How can I get access again to the typekit domain field in the publish dialog box?

Hello,We are recording TRAINING simulation in Captivate 2019, and finding an issue with Text Entry Boxes.Functionality/Req: The user enters a text in search box on a web page and clicks button after entering text.  We want the user to type in what they want in the text box to search. For some reason, the TEB functionality not works while running the project. The simulation doesn’t give an option for user to enter text in Training mode. It selects by default what is used while recording.What could be the issue? Please help with solution to fix itWe have selected option in preferences (see below).

Hello,I’ve created an assessment in Captivate. I published it to MyComputer using HTML5 only for the Output Format, and checked Scalable HTMLcontent. I did not use Responsive Projects.It works fine on my desktop.  I have a number of videos on various slidesusing Event Video, and browsing to the MP4. Some videos are the full sizeof the slide, while others just take up a small portion of the screen. On my IPhoneeach of the videos pops out and takes up the whole screen, and the playbar isn’tavailable. I have to close out of the video to go back to original slide.Thank you for your help! Jen

We want to use the Chrome Virtual Keyboard with the Chrome-Browser -https://apps.xontab.com/VirtualKeyboard/ with an HTML5-Export ofCaptivate.The HTML-Export is used as it is, not in an LMS or so.Unfortunately this does not work. Any ideas be welcome!Tried myself to this point:- The use of Files is enabled. At this point a blank HTML-Page with only a text-form in it works.The Captivate-HTML-5-Export still does not work.- If I Copy the final Code wich is generated by ANOTHER browser (e. g. Firefox) in the same HTML-Site the Extensionworks with Chrome.

my adobe captivate executable file not play in full screen on projector..its look only half of video or crop.. but on computer nothing problem with it..please help me

Hi - is it possible with CP 2019 using a mix of slides, video slides, interactive video slides, and knowledge checks to allow the student to toggle the entire project to full screen? Currently, using wordpress and iframe to load the project on a webpage - seems to be working just fine. Yet not been able to find or sort out how to add a button or playbar option to take the entire project full screen (beyond the browser) The iframe attribute of allowfullscreen doesn't seem to work (doesn't show an option or button to do so), not finding anything relevant in preferences nor in the forum or searching online - might be not sure what to search for here... Cheers,Fred  

I am adding in a series of knowledge check slides in a responsive project.  The standard KC slide format does not fit the type of questioning I want to do.  Can I configure my own KC slide design in Master Slide? Or is there some other way to accomplish this?  I want to stay away from using advanced actions right now.  The basic format I am trying to achieve is: a series of images which the student is asked to 1- correctly label, 2- match to the correct name, or 3- choose which is the correct answer.  The main issue I am having is integrating a series of images in each slide in the current KC fluid box format.  Thank you!

Hi, We have a course (that has NO quiz) which we are publishing to our LMS. We want our users to be able to retake it any time they'd like. How can we achieve this? I only see the retake option when working with quiz fail settings.

Anyone know how to set the view that a learner sees when opening a 360 slide. thanks Kurt

I have a number of PNGs set as buttons; 'hand cursor' is checked on under Properties > Actions, but when I preview the slide in my browser, the hand cursor doesn't appear (cursor remains as a simple arrow). The buttons still work, but the user can't see that they're buttons. In addition, when I tried to set a rollover as an experiment, that doesn't seem to work either. Am I missing something? This is my first project using Captivate and so far I'm not impressed with the usability of it – it's almost like going to an MS Office program, it doesn't have the polish I associate with Adobe. EDIT: having examined this issue more, I've realised it's because buttons always need to be at the top of your layer stack in the timeline. Nowhere is this communicated; in no post I've read about buttons does it say that layer ordering is important. 

When I insert a 3-minute video with closed captioning, publish it as SCORM 2004, and upload it to the Cornerstone LMS, I'm experiencing playback problems.  I think it is a bandwidth issue.  What's the best way to solve this problem?My organization has a policy against using YouTube, and our end users don't have access to YouTube.

What publishing options will Captivate offer going forward?Will the only options be HTML5 and video only? If you want functional training, what will be the options other than publishing HTML5 (intended to be on a server) for non-LMS publishing (DVD, USB)? It is well known that Flash at end of life. So there has been plenty of time to prepare for the death rattle of Flash. Unfortunately multimedia PDFs require Flash, Exe publishing requires Flash, and video publishing kills any interactivity and requires manual linking to any CC information per video. For most training developers we have the requirement of publishing to a LMS primarily as well as publishing to a DVD or USB. What is the plan for Captivate publishing options going forward in a non-Flash world?  

We have created a mp4 scorm file using responsive breakpoints but that html file is not fitting in mobile app browser and showing vertical scrolling is appearing. How the scrolling can be prevented, can anyone suggest the solution. Please find the below screenshot
