Project won't load. Getting the error:Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifierindex.html:105 Uncaught ReferenceError: cp is not defined    at index.html:105    at XMLHttpRequest.c.onreadystatechange (CPXHRLoader.js:37)This happens regularly.Any HTML fix for this when it comes up?

How do you get to the Adobe Captivate forum? I see icons for other Adobe products, but not Captivate. I checked under Latest, Alphabetical, and Popular. I can't get SCORM Cloud previewer to work.

How come when using the "Preview in SCORM Cloud" option does certain objects not display properly? For example, Rollover Sidelets? I'm assuming maybe becuase these are Flash based? So does this mean that LMSs don't support Flash when the content is being uploaded as a SCORM compliant package? 

I have a slide in which images are buttons - when I previewed in next 5 slides, I got the following error message.  Is this something new with Captivate 2019's latest release?  Anyone else come across this issue?

Not sure why but the mouse in my project is not showing the mouse click (you know the blue circle to indicate something is selected). I have the box checked but its still not showing. Not sure what the issue is.

I'm using Captivate 2019.   I use some similar Slides in my project and it doenst work. I have 2 Objects (Shapes1 and Shape 2) on one Slide.Shape 1 has a State, the State has a stroke. Shape 2 is hidden. Shape 1 has "On Success, show Shape 2"So far so good. I added on the Slide itself  an "On Enter" advanced action. With a simple command. "Change State of Shape 1 to New State"If i try to click Shape 1 it doesnt show Shape 2do i miss something?     Thanks

HiIf I import the translated word file into Capt. 2017, almost all text fields are reduced by one font size. My object styles are then overwritten. The text in the Wordfile was NOT formatted by the translator. Even if I re-import the original Wordfile (without any translations/changes!), the font size will be adjusted. Is it a bug in Capt. 2017?Marina

...Hello Captivaters !...I'm working on the multiplication... I want my learners to fullfil a TEB to indicate the right answer. Then they have to validate their answer by clicking on a validate button.For example : 2 x 5 = "TEB"Everything is fine, except when I ask them to complete such ones :5 x 0 = "TEB"If they let the TEB empty, and validate their answer, Captivate seems to consider that the empty TEB is equal to "0" and so considers it's the right answer (which is not, as they didn't answer anything !!...).So I'm wondering how to make a difference between the value "0" and an "empty space" in a TEB ?(I already tried the option of using a v_null variable but as the validate button triggers many actions, it's not so simple... and I'm looking for a simple one !...)Thanks in advance !...😉...

I have a landing slide that has 8 or so objects that a learner can click which takes them to a slide with more info.  The info slides then go back to the landing slide where the previous object clicked is crossed off (changed state) and the learner can select another object from the list.  Once all of the objects have been clicked on, I need the presentation to advanced to the next section of the course automatically.  Any suggestions?

I'm working on a Captivate 9 project which was created by importing slides from PPT. All is well until publishing....the image should appear with a "dotted line" (see attached). However, the "dotted line" becomes solid. Does anyone know why this could be happening? The only work around I have is to upgroup the objects within the ppt and take screenshots.

I am in the process of creating a nine week e-learning course for dental assistant training.  We have quite a few learning activities that we have created that we wish to repeat across the course to allow the students to review.  Is it possible to copy and paste or duplicate and re use activities in CP?  Some of these are drag and drop activities that took quite a long time for me ( a CP newbie) to create and I would rather not have to do so if I can avoid it.  Many thanks.  Latest version of CP is being used (as of 9-16-19) and the projects are responsive.

I recorded some footage in Second Life and would like to play it back considerably faster than it really occurred. Any idea how I can do that?

When entering closed captioning to most of my projects, as I am captioning, the captions will switch and move to different lines, dissapear (text goes back to "enter caption text here"), or freeze my entire project to where the "close" button disappears from the captioning pop up and I can't do anything except Ctl+Alt+Del to close the course - losing all my progress.  It will also switch them around after I have hit "save." I thought first it was because my slide had a lot of captions, but it has happened on slides with 10 captions or slides with 100 captions.  Our whole team uses the same template and I am the only one seeing this issue... Is this a bug withing Captivate 2017 or is anyone seeing this issue with 2019 - that is what we are moving to next and I am hoping this issue goes away... Solutions I have tried:  I have started a new slide from scratch, restarted the whole course with a new clean template, had people sit next to me so they can witness it to see

We are testing Captivate 2019 and create a quiz which we uploaded to the server.When completing the assessment one of our developers was able to read out the assessment results & correct answers as a learner because they are all store client side.What are the options to protect that learners are unable to see the data ?

I habe a dual screen setup and I launched Cptivate but i don't see it in either screens. How do I reset the settings so it reappears?

I'm using CP 2017 and I'm trying to print a project.  I've selected that Slide Notes be included.  I've printed this twice and both times the slide notes don't appear.  Does anyone have any ideas?Thanks in Advance,Susan

Hi, I want to control the playback speed of Software simulation in html5 output.  I planned to put button in each slide with javascripts thats control the speed of html5 output. I saw many tutorials and blog post for controlling the speed with FPS. But couldn't. Anyone can help me in this 

I would like to know how can I stop the learner from clicking on the status bar to advance in the course. Is there a way to keep the status bar in and not allow course advancing or back up using the bar. I know the skin has a backup button and that is fine I just don't want the learner to advance using the status bar. Thanks

I reopened an older Captivate project and went to edit the Powerpoint deck but when I saved it, Captivate rendered my artboard but the last 1/4th of each slide is missing.

I am creating a graded quiz with no fail/pass setting. At the end, the user is allowed to review their quiz responses, and as is, the "Review Quiz" button brings them back to the first of 10 questions. As they click through, they ALSO see the non-quiz slides in between the quiz slides. Is there a way to show ONLY the quiz questions as they click through (skipping the non-quiz slides in between)? I'm using Captivate 2019. Thanks.

not sure if I should post here or on forums.adobe.. .seems things have changed since I frequented these parts, but I'll try it here also and hopefully no one gets upset. Recently installed Cp 2019, 11.0.1.266 I'm not new to Captivate, but on this first 2019 project I'm building, I find when I try to change the length of a slide by dragging the timeline object, everything else on the slide moves with it.  It only happens on slides when i have a smartshape as a button. if I just want to add 1 second on the timeline, all the other objects I've placed move around disproportionately to how much I've changed the slide, some objects even end up beyond the end of the slide.  This means I have to manually align them all again to ensure proper timing. Anyone else seeing/seen this?  Any thoughts or solutions?
