Retry after ensuring that:- The document is not open.- You have installed Microsoft word. "I have WPS Office. Hi all,I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I ran into after upgrading to 11.5Much of my Captivate work involves updating existing screen images on bullet slides to match small UI changes to software apps. For example, the version number may change on a window title bar, but the rest of the window remains unchanged. So instead of staging and recording a new screen I just edit the existing image to replace the version number.Normally my workflow for these updates works like this:In Captivate, double-click the image to open the properties pane.Click Reset Image to Original Size.Right-click on the image and select Copy (not Copy Background as the image is not merged)Open up Snagit Editor.Click Paste.Make image changes, then right-click on image in Snagit and click Copy.Bring up Captivate, delete old image, paste updated image onto slide, re-position and time, etc.This workflow has worked for many versions. When I Export my project in PC .exe file browser not showing plesse slove the problem ereryone

Please can someone help me with this query.  Three weeks ago a Captivate module was Zipped up and loaded (computer) onto the Moodle LMS Totara.  It plays and presents/fits the screen fine.However, yesterday I had to make a change to two of the modules.  One involved Advanced Actions, and the other was altering some text.  Again, same method of saving and Publishing (computer) and uploading to the LMS.  However, whilst all the previous modules all appear ok - these two new ones appear Big on the screen.  They cut or a quarter of the slide. It's not the zoom levelIt's nothing to do with me playing around with Project settingsCan someone help me rectify this problem please.  Captivate 2017ccThanks

I've created by project. Published it to an .exe and then zipped it in order to email. It views fine on my machine but when other's get it, it cuts off most of the page and appears to big. What do I do?

We are trying to publish a file in SWF/HTML, and also using SCORM 1.2 for publishing.Trying to create SWF and HTML together is giving me the error as seen in the screenshot. We want to make it compatible with the LMS.One solution I have for this is to copy all the slides with audio and animation to a new source file and publish. This is still tricky, as I have some rework on the small setting completed on each slide. The audio was coming up well on all slides.Is there another resolution to this? is this a known error.

I am evaluating Adobe Captivate 2019 as a tool to produce interactive 360-degree walkthroughs.There are a few requirements such asDeployment as a 2D project viewed on a web browser. I do not want VR.Navigation - multiple hotspots to other 360-degree images.So far I have been able to produce an interactive project, however I do not like the way that text boxes and images appear when they are triggered from a hotspot. I would prefer them to appear flat for the user to see easier.I would appreciate any input from users that have built 360-degree walkthroughs using Captivate 2019. Hello,I have a quiz with a question that requires participants to select a number of fields on a screenshot of some software. There are 21 fields on the screenshot, only 8 of which are right answers.If the user correctly identifies all eight fields, I want them to score 1 point (it's a relatively easy question and I don't want them to get a disproportionately high score). However, I still want them to get credit (pro rata) if they only select some of them (selecting 7 of them would score 0.875 for example).Since Captivate doesn't appear to allow for decimal values to be assigned as point scores, the obvious solution is to scale up my scores throughout the quiz to ensure the right weightings are applied.The problem is this: if the user selects ANY incorrect fields, I want them to score zero for the question (so 6 right answers and 2 wrong ones would score 0, 8 right answers and 1 wrong one would score 0, and so on).I can't use penalty points, because we'd need to know how many correct a

Hi there,Thought I post some findings here regarding the infamous new autoplay block for HTML5, introduced in the latest Captivate patch. Hello everyone,I am still a 2017 apprentice and have been trying to find the right commands or expressions to make lights flicker continously with click boxes. I find help using "while" the learner remains on a slide but that's not the solution I seek. I want different lights to flicker continously from one click box to another. Would someone assist with the commands or expressions or link me to the right tutorial? Thanks!

So, I've asked a similar question before, but didn't really get a resolution, but now I have a new bit of data, so I'll attempt again.I have a 5-question T/F/MC quiz at the end of the lesson with infinite attempts.  So, I have 3 feedback options: "try again", "you must answer this question to continue" and "correct, click anywhere...".  When I test this on my LMS, the "try again" caption pops up near-instantaneously.  The "correct" caption, however, always takes 2-3 seconds to appear.  It creates 2 possible problems:1.  It's a bit annoying to wait and it creates doubt that the button has been clicked.2.  The most impatient ones click "Submit" again, which the system interprets as their second click - "click anywhere to continue" - and moves them on to the next question, which in turn cause the "correct" feedback to flash by barely visible.  I suppose they can surmise that it's correct if they were able to advance, but it's still not good practice. I am using only System Fonts in my Captivate 2019 project. However, when I try to publish, I receive the error 'Please enter the domain name associated with Typekit."I did not receive this error when publishing other projects, or if I publish the project without saving and/or previewing it beforehand.The project is not responsive, and we do not wish to use Typekit fonts because our target audience has restricted access. We use strictly System and WebSafe fonts.Any help on how to get past this error is appreciated.

Hi there,I would like to set up Global preferences for the Recording defaults so when I start a brand new Record a Simulation I have the customized captions.I believe the Recording defaults go with the Theme, so if I create a project, then apply the Theme, I can see the customized Recording defaults.However, if I open a brand new Record a simulation, I see the default Recording preferences.Is there a way to apply the Recording defaults from a Theme to the Global Recording defaults?Thanks in advanceBobby

I have a what could be a very technical question but one I have been scratching my head over for the last few days.Our situationWe're currently developing a survey style project in Adobe Captivate. The survey currently tallies up the score of responses. For example, a question might be 'How would you rate this?' and below they would click the rating from low to high (1 - 5). It works like a Likert scale, however, it is actually a multiple choice. The reason it is a multiple choice, is because unlike a Likert scale, I can perform mathematical expressions on a per-checkbox level which helps the flow of the project as I can change events based off of a user's actions.The idea is we grab an average of our 'Likert' scale results, and show the user taking the survey some feedback based off of the score. Hi all, our team all updated to the latest version and now the "Continue from where you stopped last time?" box that would generally appear if a user navigated away and came back won't appear on courses in Chrome after the update, it appears in Firefox, Edge, and IE. Has anyone else encountered this?

Hello -We are creating a Certification Exam at my organization which will be launched through Skilljar. Through user testing we've discovered some issues when using Edge (these issues do not exist with other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome).1. The image added to the Auto-Play screen does not load2. The Exit button at the end of the quiz does not work (i.e. when clicked nothing happens)I tested the files locally and everything worked fine in Edge however, I did test the project in SCORM cloud and the issues were replicated in Edge but functioned fine in Chrome as they have been when launched through Skilljar. Has anyone encountered these issues? Is there a workaround we can implement so this browser can be used?Thank you!

Thank you for looking into this.I create a one page Virtual Reality Project in Adobe Captivate 2019.I inserted a 360 degree video exported by Insta360 Studio 2019.This video was taken  in 1080p, exported as 1920 x 960 resolution and 100Mbps.This video was able to be played smoothly all all players.However, when I imported this video into Adobe Captivate 2019 and review it as a one page project, it turned out to be very laggy.Similarly, when I exported this one page project as HTML5, the final product is also very laggy.I didn't add anything such as Hotspot to the 360 degree video within or outside Adobe Captivate 2019.May I know why is the final product so laggy when the video is so smooth on all the other players?Thank you

Hi everyone,As a fellow creative, I recognize the sin in what I'm about to ask. Would anyone be willing to provide a critique, however superficial, on my first eLearning project? I wouldn't be able to pay for it (hence the sin); the project is a photo-based teaching tool for an environmental non-profit. Since I'm entirely self-taught, I'd like to know if I have any glaring file management errors or if I'm using workarounds unnecessarily. I've been searching on the forums here and elsewhere but couldn't really find info on the following situation:In the quiz results slide for a quiz that has questions from multiple pools, I would like to show the number of correct questions from each question pool in addition to the overall results data.For example: the quiz takes 2 of 4 questions from Pool A, then 2 of 3 questions from Pool B and the results slide would show:Pool A: 1 of 2 questions correctPool B: 2 of 2 questions correctYour Score: 75%Total Questions: 4It seems like the answer lies in user variables and advanced actions. For total questions per pool, I could just do a counter on each pool's question slide enter actions, but I'm not sure how to go about creating tracking data for the number of correct questions per pool...All I can come with right now is perhaps using cpQuizInfoLastSlidePointScored somehow, but I don't have slide exit actions to work with so I'm not sure how to go about implementing whatever advanced a

I've created and example project that has two radio button widgets on one slide.  The one only displays half the content while the other displays just fine.You can see part of the second radio button and it does function but you can't see the label. In the CPTX it all shows up and when I preview it everything shows.  Just not when published as an HTML5.
