My button is overriding the properties in my click box
I have a slide with a click box on it and it is linked to a URL. In the properties, I have checked "Pause project until user clicks" because the user must view the URL before proceeding. I have it set to display a text stating you must click on the link and review before proceeding. This is working well with the following exception:
I have a button at the bottom of the same slide for acknowledgement purposes and the button properties are set for the user to advance to the next page when clicking the button.
When I save/publish my project, the project allows me to click on the button and advance to the next slide without first clicking on the click box and viewing the URL. It is almost like the slide is in 2 sections. If I click around the click box but not in it, I get the failure message "You must click on the link and review the document before proceeding". But if I go to the bottom of the same slide (further away from the click box) and click on my button, I don't get the failure message and I proceed to the next slide. The button is overriding the rule for the click box above it.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
