Hello everyone, and sorry in advance for my broken english. I´m personally not experienced in Photoshop, so figuring out how to mask an eyeball so my pupils can move inside was quite a challenge. No idea how i figured it out. Yet now i wanted to give my puppet some different kind of looks by switching eyeball shapes and pupils, but i can´t make it work. Im already familiar with swap sets, but it doesnt help. Not sure how to hierarchy/group the extra layers.There are some weird things happening, like pupils moving involuntarily without me triggering it in any way, or not moving at all. Also, the already problematic eyeballs, now only come on the top of the old, regular eyeballs.Here are my PS and CA screentshots, maybe someone had the same experience. Thank you in advance.

I am working on this method of rigging (10:08) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e85HGSAS80g In short, the method has me create a frontal folder that contains both the head and body. "Frontal" is tagged as a head, as is "Head". A draggable tag is added to "Frontal" at the base of the head. This is supposed to be a good method for manipulating a puppet to squat and jump. The video explains it better than me.Anyway, followed the instructions in the video (at least 3 different times). Everytime I've tried, it works perfectly from the shoulders down. But the head moves significantly less that the rest of the body (it does move a little bit) and the neck stretches really long. I've checked every layer for fixed tags and everything seems to be in order. Any ideas why this is happening? Before and after dragging puppet into a squat:
Hi All, Looking to make a few tweaks to the latest photoshop Chloe puppet. As you can see from the screenshot I've added text to her trainers, however when I return to Character Animator and move the legs the text does not move with the trainers and reamins static on the screen. Is there anyway the text can move with Chole's trainers please? Or... even having the trainers a diffient colour then the jeans. I can't seperate the two when doing colour overlay. Text is the most important question though. Thank you

Hey everyone,I know this has come up before on the forum, but I'm looking to see if anyone's come up with a solution/workaround. When I have auto-blink applied to a character, it very often causes all blinks to be a double or triple rapid blink which is a bit jarring. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?When I lower the randomness, it looks unnatural. Really, I would want the character have irregular intervals between blinks, but maybe limit the number of double-blinks per minute.Any advice?
Is anyone else getting an error message when they try to start a project?

Hi All, Hope everyone is well. With the Blank character puppet I'm looking to add legs limb IK, so that he can walk, jump etc and be of use in the fabulous new Motion Library.Under the body tab it just stops at pants. Is there a simple way I can add right and left legs, plus feet rigging under the body tab so that he can move please.Screenshot attached. Thank you

I know there's a way to arrange the puppet orders in the timeline, but I'm wondering if there's a way to change the order once you've started recording.For instance, if I wanted puppet A infront of puppet B, but then wanted puppet B in front of puppet A, is there a way to accomplish this without having to duplicate the puppet?Thanks!
Hi, The arms are independent and rigged with the following + limb IK : However, arms unhinge from the shoulder socket past a certain point in either direction. Was wondering if anyone knew why this is? Thank you.
I'm learning how to work on Adobe Character Animator and in this las version 23.0 i can not find the to "CHARACTERIZER" so i can make myself in to a puppet. Can anybody here can give me an answer? Thank you
I have used a template for Ps as a reference to transfer my new cloud over, my original rig was made in Ai. But I cant seem to get the mouth to work, it just doesnt show up in animator, I tried deleteing all the behaviors, checked the "rig issue" triangle caution button(as shown in the photo) there used to be 1 next to all of the mouths now its 0. I am stumped. I eventually will be adding the blinking(lids) and arm movements, and I want to do more triggers since I have a streamdeck and can set the buttons on there. Any help on what I need to do would be greatly appreciated. Ive scoured the internet and forums and cant seem to find an answer to this. Thanks!
Hello. im new here, 2 days in. i have mostly done alot of reading. im able to get the puppetsthat are already created to follow my lead, but i have my own characters i would like to be puppets. do i make them into layers first? if so how? i dont know where to start. thanks in avdace..i need a coach!

So I use Illustrator but I think Adobe CH Rasterizes my puppets automatically which I want. Does that mean puppet file size effects performance even if I scale them down to the lower resolution of my scene in CH? Sorry if this is a no brainer.
Beginner, so not sure if I worded it correctly. here are the attached pictures:My character has a lab coat as a part of his costume, but I see that the mesh is picking it up as part of its outline. Would this be an issue, especially since I don't see myself using the coat very often?And whenever I select left or right hand (or legs, for that matter), the mesh outline doesn't seem to change. Any suggestions on fixing these issues would be much appreciated. thank you!
Is it possible to create audio triggers?ExampleIf I trigger a motion that makes the character sneeze, he does a pre-recorded ac-hoo, or even, when triggered, the character plays an audio clip, which either I create a cycle sequence to lip sync to or CH is able to lip sync to the playing audio?If this is possible it certainly opens up a lot of opportunities for something I have in mind.
I would really like to see an integration of the Elgato Stream Deck with Character Animator. I stream on Twitch (GameswithDeath) and it is very limiting to only have ~35 or so keys which I can bind to my stream deck that can also be used with Ch. Integrating the stream deck into character animator would allow for expanded automated actions that would make more responsive live preformances and allow me to connect with the audience better. Being able to select individual triggers from Ch as opposed to individual keys would mean that I could also coordinate action in Ch with scenes and assets in OBS Studio. A simple integration, similar to what OBS Studio/Discord/Twitch has done with Stream Deck is greatly desired.

Hi , so i can't find anywhere that talks about how u can swtich between 2 sets of mouths.. when doing the audio file syncing is there a way to do that?
I set up the Limb IK on the puppet (not the individual arms or limbs) and it only working on the right arm? Also, Does Adobe Ch have a solutiuon for ball joint limbs?
Say I have multiple characters, each with their own scene/background. I'd like to simply trigger to go to the next scene. This would be during a livestream. I saw another similar post with a solution. But what I'm doing is far simpler (I think?). So is there a setup for this? Thanks!
