How about adding a mouse pointer draggrer feature? Sure... I could also add a picture of a dragger and move it around I guess... but might not be as cool as a native system dragger that could have lights and a piece of cake with it..
Hello All! I have watched several videos about Adobe Character Animator, and I'm super interested in animating using Barbarasaurus. I wanted to know:1. How I can change the text in the headlines2. How I can add a different picture to the graphics cards3. How I can change the background while having Barbarasaurus still there. I know how to add a new background when the puppet comes without a set background, but it seems like one overlays the other with fully developed animations like Barbarasaurus. Any help would be much appreciated. I really want to do a series to help some kids I volunteer with! Thank you!

Hi, hello i need some help. Ive been searching high and low and i cant seem to find a tutorial on how to put two puppets on a scene, and place them correctly. Everytime i load my characters on animator they end up side by each in very close promixity. can any one help on how to get two character on one scene?
Hello guys!I have a problem where when I try to work with this PSD it freezes my Character Animator completly. The cpu usage goes from 8% to 100%. Could you guys try it if it's a psd or PC related issue?My config:Ryzen 1600R9 390 8GB16GB Ram It only freezes when I click on the head group or any layer within.
Hello! So I can create animations with CH and put it on a video. Is there a way that I can create an interactive animation triggers and host it in a website? If so, how do I go about to do this? I would like to have my drawings which I create in Illustrator show up in a web page with trigger buttons on the side. When the visitor clicks a trigger button I want the drawing to do a set of animations in relation to the drawings. I know this is beyond of what CH is made for, but I suppose it can be done. Would anybody have any advise on how to accomplish this?
Here's a request. If I make a robot with something like an equalizer for a mouth, is there some way to set it up so that the lights get brighter when the voice is louder? Or do I have to just fake it by using visemes for the lights?
Hello. I'm having a LOT of issues on my first puppet. It was based on Tull puppet.The problem that I really whish I could resolve is the mouth lipsync. It seems that the default mouth is overlapping the others when activated and I cant figure out what is happen.Sorry, I'm really noob at character animator.
CharacterAnimatorのタイムラインの中に「シーンオーディオからリップシンクテイクを計算」という項目がありますが、「シーンオーディオから 2 リップシンクテイクを計算」と、「2」が途中で表示されるようになりました。そのため、リップシンクをする際に必ず2つシーケンスバーが表示されてしまいます。この「2」の設定を変更する方法はありますか?どこを見ても設定が変更できる場所が見つかりませんでした。

I made a star backdrop twice over now and it is not letting me place it in a scene. I was able to get the 2nd one up as a puppet however as soon as i put it in the scene i get an error and failure to perpare scene message. When i made the sky it did not rename the layers as copy so it has 1567 stars all named "1" under a group named +stars. is this the issue, if so is there an easy solution? or, is it simply to much for my computer. I am using fairly large files so I can have my back grounds in contant movement. Thanks.
I have taken some of the elements away from the camera.....Eye Movements, Eyebrow Movents. However, I still would like the head to move when I move in the camera. Head Tilting is what I really want. Basically, the only thing I want the camera to do is track my head tilts.My problem currently is that the camera is not tracing my head tilts. I never changed any of the camera settings, just disconnected the unwanted movements. How do I get the head tracking back?
Hi, in rig mode the background color is white, which is what I want, but when I go to scene mode I get this which is not what I want.
Does Character Animator store library or reference files somewhere? What's happening with me is I step away from a project with working triggers then come back a week later and they're no longer working. There's been no change to the puppet or the project for that matter. So I'm wondering if somehow reference files are being stored somewhere on my computer, that perhaps are in a folder that gets pushed to the Cloud, and so, are no longer local to my drive. I have multiple external hard drives that I'm using. Just trying to figure out the best way to set up my Character Animator workflow so this doesn't keep happening. But love the program!
Hi, does anybody know why the strides and speeds are different when walking left and right?When I make the character go left, it takes small steps, slow speed and smooth motions, but when I make the character go right, it takes long steps, walks fast with jerky motion.Thank you!

HiI would like to know hat upcoming features are planned for character animation. I am thinking of recreating what is quite a bland blog post into a character animation slide show that can be uploaded to video sites. Would be great to know of any upcoming new features that are planned.
Hi all, I have upgraded to 4.4 but this problem remains bugging me since ever. I have a puppet with a floppy tentacle, that uses Dangle to bounce a bit while moving. The bounce looks nice in the editor, but when rendered, it gets out of control.I would like to use native 60fps, so i set the stage to 60 frames per sec.The tentacle now is quite rigid, like stiff frozen jelly.When setting the stage to 30, the rendered result is much more alike the editor preview!Setting the stage to 15 fps results in the tentacle to become weird overstretching rubber. Same problem with wind. it looks unnatural fast and stiff at 60fps stage setting, almost acceptablle at 30 and absurdly distorted at 15!! Same with blink! a blink lasts 1 frame. and of course... it is horrific at 60, kind of ok at 30 and sedated at 15. i guess 24 would be just perfect, but... no. Is there a switch to tell the physics simulation to behave correct in 60fps? any config file, i could edit with an t
I was working on a Puppet, and download the OkaySamurai Puppet "Sirr" for references, but when I opened it delete all the work I have done in my puppet, rigs, behaviours, triggers... all gone. 😞 Is there any way to find the autosave files of my puppet?
Hello, I have been working on a project where I want to animate the head movement of the puppet, and allow the hair to dangle. I can't see to get it right. I have a distortion of the face when I move the head around and I can't seem to figure out why. My pupils are also not moving at all and they should be.
Very new to charater animator and I've never really used dynamic link before even though I use premiere and AE fairly frequently. I'm just testing the waters here and putting a dancing cartoon onto dance floor footage, but when I attempt to import in AE or premiere it just says project could not be opened, it's saved and open in animator during the attempts, please help and thanks!
Hello,I feel like I've tried all the iterations of mouths being checked, creating lip synch behaviors but I can't get the other mouths to shop up when I'm talking. So I was creating a puppet and- when rigging the arms. It detatched from the body and warps when dragging. You can see a space between the character for some reason.
After clicking export via Adobe Media Encoder, the file that is rendered and saved cant play. when I check the file details, its says that video length is 0. why is this happening? Need some help here!
