Question

cloud storage

My previous files stored on cloud have disappeared, only the most recent test is still there. Is there a way of getting them back? The point of storing them on cloud was supposed to avoid exactly that.

Same happened to me and my colleague today (we share a folder for work). All files disappeared from the Cloud and have been moved to the trash from one minute to another. We sit next to each other and clearly haven't touched a file.

did you restore your files that were in the deleted folder?

I had to restore all files manually. Actually I'm still working on it as not all files and folders disappeared and none of the files are listed in the Creative Cloud deleted folder.

You should always have a local copy of all files, not just in the cloud
If you don't have space on your computer drive use an external drive
I use a Sata docking station and SEVERAL 'bare' drives for backup
There are many external drive devices, this is the one I use

click the cloud icon at the upper right of the cc desktop app>click cc web> check the delete folder.

actually, you may as well check all 7 folders and the bottom left lightroom link.
