the forum says that the latest release is 3.4.4 but there isn't any information available on the Adobe website … 3.4 is quite an old version but the Adobe site says it's the latest official release – really? September 2020?https://helpx.adobe.com/dimension/kb/fixed-issues.html

How do I unlock a prop or a section of a prop on adobe dimension? I've used other adobe products like photoshop and premiere but when I try to unlock a prop on dimension it won't let me.

I have a problem with my Adobe Dimension. The programm is unable to open saved files.I've tried to reinstall the programm and I've tried the older versions as well. I am working on Windows 10. All saved files are perfectly working on Mac OS

Hi, I've been using Dimension without issue on an M1 Ultra with 64 cores and now all of a sudden it has reverted to the old grey screen when I add an object. This used to happen on my older iMac which is understandable and it was purely a graphics issue. I've tried closing it down and it won't respond. The issue is persisting and hindering my workload for today. Can anyone advise? Thanks

With the new update i am still getting corrupt file eror when loading back in a saved file that contains obj objects/meshes

Hello,I have been having the same recurring issue when importing custom made 3D models into Adobe Dimensions, I keep getting these weirds almost shadows that just appear in almost fixed positions on my objects. These shadows move around the object as I change the camera angle as well. They behave the same with the handle removed and this same thing happens when I attach decals to the object. Any idea how to fix this or what it could be?  

Which export format is best for a cityscape created in Dimension, that can be navigated similar to Google Street view?Is there any generic format for that purpose or I need to navigate my projects created in Dimension in Aero? 

i still am finding that i can't open any of my OBJ files in Dimension. the animated load screen just keeps cycling but nothing happens for minutes on end. then i have to force quit the application. working on Windows 10. i've seen this behavior on multiple computers. sometimes with a fresh OS install when i'm rebuilding a system Dimension will run and load models fine from OBJ or FBX, etc. but then for some reason it stops and i can't load/import any models besides what comes with the application shelf.any troubleshooting help you can offer?thanks.

I am using a Mac Studio and AD was creating beautiful high renderings for the last two days and today it isn't working. The renderings just say cancelled. I have done the usual restart and reinstallation but that didn't fix it. Any ideas appreciated.

I want to export 3D projects as navigable spaces.

I have a custom environment lighting effect in my Adobe Dimension file. The image is of a cup. When I save the file and then move to a PC environment, the lighting at the bottom of the object changes and adds a shadow to the lower part of the cup. Not the base shadow, but a blended shadow at the bottom on the cup which is not present in Mac view.I have checked the file on both Mac and PC and there are no differences in preferences or in the lighting settings.The only thing I can think is that PC does not use suffix on the end of file names and the custom lighting might not be recognised. I tested this and made a custom light which was completely white. I was surprised to see that it did update on both the mac version and the PC version - the shadow was still only present on the PC version. Note that again, I am not talking about the opacity of the shadow under the 3D object - but on the surface of the object. Possibly a glitch.

Hey there - unfortunately Windows crashed on me and I lost my Dimension file. I can still see my last saved version of it in my file explorer, however, when I attempt to open it, it says Unable to Open Document. I can see there is a .tmp file in the folder with an identical file size. Am I able to recover using this? I've tried opening it in Dimension with no luck. I've also tried duplicating both files, changing the file extensions, etc and still no luck. Please send help!

Hi! On the latest version of Dimension (3.4.6) the app crashes every time I try to add a text object with the prompt: "A problem caused the application to stop working correctly." Have tried restarting the computer and this has happened consistently over the past few days when I've tried. I'm working on an M1 Pro macbook on MacOS 12.6.The link in the discussion forum here to submit feedback (bugs) is also broken (Submit product feedback) with a 404 which is why I'm writing here.

I want to render high quality image for printing. How can i change  export setting to 300 dpi image?

I am trying to find additional backdrop images to place behind a 3d van but other that what is in the adobe start assets such as the city backdrop I cant find anything which is similar. Can anyone advise? I have had a look on adobe stock but nothing similar is available.

Hallo, ich habe mir einen Lenovo Yoga 7i zugelegt und wollte nun Adobe Dimension starten.Leider bekomme ich immer die Fehlermeldung das OpenGL 3.2 fehlt und Dimension so nicht starten kann.Laut überprüfung in der Adobe Cloud ist der Laptop aber kompatible. Was kann ich tun ?Was ich bereits getan habe:Ich habe bereits den gpusniffer gelöscht, Dimension startet dann auch korrekt aber Win 11 geht dann in einen Bluescreen mit der Meldung VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE.Ausserdem habe ich die Interne Intel IRIS deaktiviert, die Power Einstellung für Adobe auf Hoch gelegt damit die dedizierte Grafikkarte genutzt wird, leider immer noch mit der selben Fehlermeldung Hardware: Intel Core i7-12700H32GB LPDDR5-4800 RamIntel Arc A370M Graphics - 4GB GDDR6Windows 11 Home Liebe Grüße

I am working with Dimensions almost everyday, and still facing the same problem with file size growing too much, until I have to quit Dimension. So far, I´ve found one solution for reducing the file size by importing models as OBJ and exporting them as GLTF, then importing as GLTF. That reduces the size a lot, but I face the same problem again, when duplicating models. Does anyone know how to duplicate models without increasing file size? Macbook and my other computer is not the problem anymore. It should be all about the repeating codes when duplicating models...?

Please note the huge difference between 3 renders in JPEG attached.Is this something I should expect switching from CPU to GPU rendering? (Adobe Dimension mac/win and nvidia drivers updated to Oct. 6th 2022)

Hi! I'm experiencing huge issues when opening a DN file.My file is not huge (90MB) and it only shows a grey box when opening it. And then it crashes.However - if I upen up another file first - THEN load my file it works.. but after a while, when I try to render it from some angles, it refuses and if I exit the rendering process the scene is once again grey. This have never happend to me before, and I usually have huge scenes with loads of material and OBJ files for rendering.. Any Idea here..?

HI! I am trying to decrease a dimension file size but it seems to be stuck to 57 MB no matter what i do . I tried decreasing the model size , the canvas size and I changed the material from relection to mat but the file size is not budging. ANy help would be greatly appreicated!🙏🙏

Hi, I am new to Dimensions so I thought I'd download it and give it a go. It starts up fine to the home window but when I go to click Create new it just freezes. I can't close the programme down the usual way so I have to end the task via task manager. My specs are over and above the minimum required but it will not work! Tried reinstalling it and nothing. I installed the very first version and that works, but it doesn't have any of the new features that I want to use! Any help would be great 🙂 Many thanks, Chris.
