Hi all. I'm using Dimension for the first time and I'm having problems managing the size of the file to the point the program won't function and I literally have to wait 1 min to see the mouse move! Ok it is a merchandising project so there are a number of product facings and then the shelf is full about 5 of each product in depth so I appreciate there might be a lot of data. I've maxed out the RAM on my Mac but to no avail. Can anyone help??

Hello together We have a file with 16 GB that unfortunately cannot be opened after adding an object. Can someone please help us with this? Hi. I'm new to Dimension so I apologize if this is a stupid question:When I place an object in my scene, it rotates on the center vertical axis and stays in the same spot as I rotate it. Looks great. When I publish it and view it, the rotation is way off and it swings around the canvas almost like it was anchored on the left side of the object. I need it to stay in the same spot so it matches up with the void that I make for the background.Please help.Dave-----------------------Mac 10.14.6Dimension 3.4.5Safari 14.1.2 (but it does the same thing in other browsers) 

I am using dimension version 3.4.5 windows.when i am trying to make objetc smaller in the window using scrolling its like some thing covering the objet with background color!What's wrong?

Hello Community, So I would love to start using Dimension, but everytime I try to use it it's like there is some graphics issue that is hard to describe, so I will post a screen shot. It's like this white-noise bleeding effect all over any buttons and icons and as I move my mouse it grows. Strangest thing and I've never seen a similar error in any software. Ever. It seems like a graphics card issue not working correctly with the software. It has done this for over a year, even when all drivers and software are updated. I am using an RTX 2070 Super 8GB Video Memory, 32 GB DDR4 3200 Ram, Intel i9 10900F processor in an Alienware Aurora R11 on Windows 11. It also did it on Windows 10 before updating. It runs all the other Adobe apps well, at least the ones I have used - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audution, Lightroom, InCopy.  Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks in advance for your time and help!

when selection an object and 'export uv' is clicked adobe dimension creates a folder, but no psd-files. the folder is empty. ––– any solution?¿

The frustration is trying to use a 3d program that can't even use color themes correctly and that is stair-stepping me to pay even more money on a subscription so I can even do basic 3d is just plain INSULTING! Adobe spends more time dividing my workflow to their money advantage than anything else! I am just plain sick of it.  That is the real PANDEMIC.  Corporate Giant Crap!    

Hi. This is seemingly a common issue, and all fixes seen before such as rebooting and reinstalling haven't solved my issue, or have only solved it for one or two renders. I'm currently trying to do a high quality render, with a canvas size of 4050x3750, at a resolution of 150 pixels per centimeter. The file was going to be attached, until the support form decided it didn't like the fact that I was uploading a Dimension file. The workspace consists of stock spheres, stock textures, stock backplate, stock lights, and an .obj file produced in autodesk fusion 360 that has been scaled down to fit within the workspace. The materials on the .obj have been placed on faces instead of individual bodies, due to the workflow I have used in fusion 360 to produce the model.In previous renders, I have had to solely export the render as a .png as a solution to this issue. However, this time I am required to produce a .psd as well. I have encountered issues doing so over the last year of use,

Have a work laptop with Nvidia GF MX230 Graphics Card. Adobe Dimension won't display any objects in the workspace.Other similar posts made by community members and solutions provided by the adobe bots are worthless. Drivers updated, plenty of ram, Ran as Admin, blah blah blahCan run every other adobe product on this laptop.

Hi all,I am trying to optimize a model of a wine bottle for delivery in AR.The base model is built in Sketchup, imported and textured in Dimension before being exported to Aero resulting in a GLB. This process all works.The anomaly occurs when I try and optimise the model and end up getting a significantly larger file out the other end - the original dimension file is 4.6Mb but the "optimised" version is 25.4Mb!My process is simple. Starting with the SketchUp model I reduce the number of faces=3393/edges=6892 to faces=846/edges=1403. Great so far. However, when I use this version to texture in Dimension the result, using the same materials and identical graphics jumps, as mentioned from 4.6Mb to 25.4Mb.I'm a bit lost. I can only guess that dimension doesn't like triangles??? The Sketchup models are shown below  Thank you

I would be interested in a control slider that helps adjust the vibrancy of colour. This would obviously need to take into consideration a number of other existing sliders and lighting.If I move the slider to the left, the vibrancy and saturation decreases and if i move the slider to the right, it increases.I suspect that if the different existing controls are somehow linked together, (i.e. lighting, metailc, glow, intensity). there may be a way to have them all focus on making the vibrancy of colour more saturated with one slider rather than all sliders. Obviously then some fine tuning could be done with individual sliders. I am finding that my colours are not saturated as I would like even after testing different simple lighting and whilst I understand that vibrancy is connected to lighting, I am keen to have 360 degree environmental lighting that does not produce heavy shadows. I want to avoid using direction lighting due to heavy shadows on diffeent sides.Everything needs to l

I just discovered that the best parts of Adobe's 3D suite iare NOT included in professional Apps Subscription... the I'm spending $54 a month ($648 a year) for the use of Illustrator and Photoshop, neither of which have had any material updates (at least not that I appreciate or that affect my workflow).  I might use AfterEffects three times a year to build a basic Lottie animation...  Now I take a look at 3D software, and all the interesting 3D components are AN ADDITIONAL $48 a month...   If there was a way to build a viable alternative to Illustrator and PhotoShop - I'm thinking even though I have used this software since genesis (mid 1980's) I would switch. The alternative just has to open and edit Illustrator files and be a very good photo editor.    Is it just me or does it seem that Adobe is a terrible company, run by a money-grubbing cabal of dirty corporate sand-baggers?

I'm mocking up some product models using some custom models provided by our third party printers, and most of the time, the files seem to have trouble. I'm applying shrink-wrap labels, which have been mapped onto the model by our print service. Sometimes, when trying to render or preview the render, the object shows fully white with my applied label barely even visible. Sometimes, throwing a standard model plane (or several) into the scene allows the file to re-load and will show the label. I don't know what that's about, but throwing in standard models so far has let me continue to work around that. I'm also having trouble with a strange grey or pixelation coating the models. It's visible only in the render preview and the render. If I turn off render preview, the models look fine. (I only mention this because when the model turns almost fully white, that is visible whether render preview is turned on or not.) This is the issue I haven't been able to get around.  I've b

Hi, new in to the Adobe world. I work with creating shelfs in carbord for food shops. When i have put in my 3D shelf in dimension, i want to create products (for example bottles) to show the customer how it could look like in reality. But when i have create around (lets say) 30 bottle its starts to get to heavy to move around the objects and at the end i want maybe 100 bottles, but it will almost crash before that.Is there any way to produce the objects (bottles) in a smaller size? Hi, I've been designing some stuff in Dimensions and I am finding that every shape created after a certain distance, from the start point, stops moving and goes back to its original starting position.   Has this happened to anyone? if can you help me fix it? 

As stated, my illustrator files and being splitdisappearing once uploading as OBJ's into Dimension. I think this is some sort of issue with my settings on my iMac illustrator/dimension because this does not happen whern I am on my Macbook. This issue also happens when I create my own text shapes. Once I upload into Dimension, the seperate letters in the text separate.TIA!

i have a simple bottle, basically a cylinder ... and i'm applying a simple, rectangular label to it ...  i'd like to hide the cylinder and keep the shape of the label when i export it so i can photoshop the label onto a photograph of a real world bottle.  how can i do this? i did find some older posts about this, but none of them answered the question and i'm hoping somebody has an a more updated solution.
