Hallo zusammen, ich habe folgendes Problem, auf meinem Mac Pro startet unter Mojave Dimension nicht mehr,. Das Programm zeigt den Ladebildschirm und bleibt dann hängen. Auch ein Rückspielen auf eine ältere Version brachte keine Abhilfe. Kann mir hier jemand sagen was ich tun kann ? Alle anderen Programme aus der Cloud laufen ohne Probleme. Vielen Dank

I am on Dimension 3.4.5 on a MacBook Air M1 (16GB), MontereyI have a 3D Text object that reads "PatroNetX", where "PatroNet" is just the standard white material, and for the "X", I added the red Substance Material called "Smooth Silk".When I export this as a glTF scene, everything look great, but 80% of the size of the glTF scene is made up of the rough texture for the silk material.I wanted to replace it with just a red color, no texture, but when I click on the "X" in Dimension, and select Material in the Actions panel, then select the material for "Face" above in the list of materials for the letter "X", I don't see any properties for this material, even though in a number of tutorials I have watched, they are clearly there, on the right, where I only see properties for transformations.What am I doing wrong?

When i generate and export the UV's the .psd file goes missing in the exported location. Please help

Hello,I just started with dimension 3.4.5 I'm trying to import an 3D Object in Dimension.The object is well opened in Dimension. But When i'm trying to change only the material for only one sphere, it changes the material for all object.I'm trying to dissociate, ungroup, ...  the objects, but it's the same. It's like if all the sphere are the same.Could you help me ? I'm trying to do something like that.Thanks.Cyril    

I want to add additional materials to dimension. Yes I can import these to a selection one by one but I don't want to repeat this everytime and add additional materials to materials selection on left panel... Is it possible? (I'm using mac).

Hello!My question concerns Adobe Dimension. I was looking an answer on Internet but I didn't find that. When I made a model/element can I add him to my Starter Assets? How to do that? 🙂The second issue is  about Adobe Stock. When I use a search engines with an option "free" there is a lot of pictures. Is it completely free? Can I download this and use it even for a commercial purpose or without providing information about the author for exaple in a movie on Youtube?I am using the Creative Cloud but without Adobe Stock.Thanks for you attention :).

How can I avoid getting the dark zones on the sides of this rendering? They are not visible on the preview. 

I'm getting the dreaded "App restart needed" when I try to render a project. It doesn't matter if I reduce the canvas from 2,000 to 1,000 or selecting GPU to render. I'm trying to submit my log file, but when I click on "submit product feedback" I get an error 404 page instead. All my drivers are up to date and my system has plenty of juice to get the job done (i7-9750, GTX1660 Ti, 16gb ram). Any advice?

Hi Comminity,I'm using this verion (Build 3.4.3-20210610.r.4022-20b96ed) on Mac Catalina 10.15.7 for ongoing work.It's faily stable, get the odd freeze. Bearing in mind Dimesion is now more or less abandoned by Adobe, I'm loathed to update anything (at least until I make the big jump to Appple sillicone later this year - which kises goodbye to Dimension forever!). Anyone know if the latest (presumably last ever) update to Dimension is worth the risk? Chances are I'll leave it, unless anyone can confirm the update brings signifigant performance or stabilty improvements. Thanks in advance. 

Is it possible to add a cube and then place a png decal on top of it and then hide the cube without also making the decal transparent? For example a die cut sticker or a door hanger with a hole in it.

changing the depth information in Photoshop render file_ How do you apply the changes and what is the purpose of the Depth Map info in the Photoshop Dimension render file? I understand the grayscale depth map controls I think the Depth of Field when the file is rendered, but how can I change it in the Photoshop file and reapply the new info? ty

Hello, I have tried importing a Sketchup (.skp) model into Dimension, but it only shows me this blank screen:And then I can't close Dimension, and have to use task manager to force it down.The file I am trying to import is pretty heavy, 70 Mo.Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thank-you!

how do i use text in adobe dimentions?

I know I have to export from Rhino to Dimension in a OBJ file but when I go to open the file in Dimension it is saying something along the lines of "not supported" and "fewer polygons". I am unfamiliar with this 3d space but am looking for some help on how I can import this very simple object into Dimension to get a cleaner render.

Hello everyone, I have a new laptop (Win 10). I installed Dimension and the application launches. However, I see a black screen. The system requirements for the application are more than met. Has anyone an idea of the reasons why?

hi everyone, there is something wrong where i try to open my file and the assets i have previously brought in have now darkened and it's not to do with the lighting. Something is going wrong between when i start a new file than save and close. It works perfectly fine when i start a new file, it's only opening every file that i have saved. There is also something that is strange, when i open a file it gets to 45% really quickly and gets stuck and won't open for another few minutes- it's as if the file is huge and taking forever to process, but the file is only 22mb. I have tried everything- force quitting, restarting. uninstalling, re-installing, downloading older versions. Nothing works. Yesterday Dimensions was working perfectly fine, it was only this morning that everything has become corrupted like this.Please help i have had no luck with customer support.

Hello, When I add any kind of material to my model, it just gets the "average color" of the material and nothing else. In the preview I can only see outlines, when it renders it just has the color - essentially same result as I would just add some random color to the model without any other properties. Characters created and configured in the Fuse after downloading uploaded to Dimension does not work Roughness settings. How can this be corrected? 

I'm trying to create a chest shaped box with a flap/ nose lock. I was able to create a basic chest shape using the cylinder and cube tools. However, I have no idea how to achieve the curvey opening like the illustration attached. I would really appreciate some help as I'm getting very frustrated with this app.

Hi all!In Adobe Dimension I placed graphic on object, and adjusted its position and size. And then clicked outside to exit graphic adjustment. Now I need to adjust it again - how do I do it? The 3D model has 4 parts - Tip, bottom, body and cap. The graphic is placed on body.

Hallo zusammen, ich versuche derzeit Dimension zu nutzen, aber jedes mal nach dem start angezeigt das ich nicht eingeloggt sei und deswegen schließt sich das programm sofort wieder, in der CC app bin ich jedoch eingeloggt und in keiner der andere programme (nutze LR, PS, AE, Premiere und audition) hat jemand ideen wie ich das behaben kann? neu instalieren und neustat hab ich schon versucht?

Hello,I just noticed that a black-white gradient used as opacity, is only applied on the external surface of a tube, not on the complete object (volume).As you can see in the red area, the inner surface of the tube is not affected. Is there a way to bypass this issue ? Regards
