Hello, we save our 3D models from 3DS Max as FBX files and I can easily insert and edit them in Adobe Dimension. But after saving the project I can't open the file anymore. No matter which drawing I try. I can't open the .dn file afterwards. Here are the ERROR lines from the log file:gbl Error 7448ms> RENDERCORE ERROR: GL Render Target should not have a depth buffer attached, not anymore.gbl Error 7448ms> RENDERCORE ERROR: Bad Context or bad FBO attachment
I'm having trouble rendering out a large design. The canvas is set to 3.4m x 1.75m, but every time I render out the result is 1024x768 px.Camera and render results should also be set to the correct dimensions so I'm clueless on how to fix this. Not sure if this is a bug or adobe dimension does not support these large renders. All help appreciated.
I tried the new cloud rendering feature this afternoon, safe to say the advertisement of "lightning fast" render speeds is not a true statement. I don't know if this was a marketing statement they thought would be okay, but it's actually just a lie.I get that cloud rendering frees up my computer to do other things. But it is not faster than my PC, which is not a high end system, it's a run of the mill "here's your desk" office computer.Sorry to anyone who got excited about this feature. Do not go spending money on this when they open up purchasable render credits.
Can anybody help me with these fragments? Where is the problem? Resolution 3000x2400Thank you so much.
I've just installed Dimension and was following the provided tutorial on adding assets. Neither the adding of multiple decals, nor the importing of an .AI file worked. So, is this a version problem (1.1.1) or did miss I something in the tutorial. Thanks.
Hi, i have a problem with my dimension. I can work, create scenes, add materials and so on, but render, even the preview, never starts! I really don't know why.. Everything seems normal but when i try to preview or either to render it stays there doing nothing.I altready tryed to uninstall, reinstall ecc eccThanks a lot if you can help me
Hi! Just can't find how to place my graphic on model in an exact position. So, if I want to place a logo on this cube and the logo must be exactly 33 cm in width and 5 cm in height and be placed in the centre of the cube while the cube is 60 cm for each side.
HiI would like to import illustrator files for generate a sticker on a bottle. But when I render my image the sticker is blurry. If I import image file to biblio adobe dimension (rainbow logo with D letter), the render is ok.this link is the model and illustrator files.https://transfernow.net/633ax6f84lc4Thanks a lot if you can help me !
The latest release has increased the image resolution for placed artwork, however, I can't find the updated maximum resolution listed anywhere. It used to be that all imports, vector or rasterized, would be rasterized at 2000 x 2000 pixels - a significant quality limitation. Does anyone know what Dimension does with graphics with this latest update?
Hi! Could you add a perspective matching tool in order any user could manually specify Dimension CC a group of parallel lines to match the image perspective perfectly? The automatic tool which presents in Dimension CC for now is just useless because it can't compute the real perspective of image even approximately. Look as an example a perspective matching tool in SketchUP, 3ds Max or others. It's a pity thing that Adobe can't provide users to use such a tool in 2019. Even Photoshop Vanishing Point Filter works wrong. When you set parallel lines and try to back a 3D layer the FOV values becomes incorrect. Moreover Photoshop simply has wrong calculations of the horizontal field of view. You may check it. Look at the screenshot. The simple formula proves that PS says wrong Horizontal FOVcanvas width w = 5000 pixelscanvas height h = 2000 pixelsd = 3732,73 (distance to the center of projection)Horizontal FOV 2 tan-1 ( w / 2d ) = 67.6Vertical FOV 2 tan-1
Hi! How to create a "chameleon material" in Dimension? Can't find something like fall off map in here. ! !
OK, I created simple mushroom model in Blender 2.8 and exported that file to OBJ. Now I trying to add some decal on my model, and don't know why blender is repeating that decal. I puting it on mushrooms body, but DN puting it also on it's hat Anyone know where is the problem? Render preview and final render PNG file below.
Why did you remove the depth of field from Adobe Dimension?
So I don't think this is Adobe Dimensions intended purpose but I love the simplicity and amazing results of AD! So i am not 3d modeler but I love compositing scenes using free assets. This is one of my recent pieces, and am quite surprised that AD was able to handle it albeit a bit laggy after everything was added.I used assets from sketchfab, mega scans and others. Here is the Final render with a few minor Photoshop touches light color balance and mud texture of vehicle. Here are a couple shots of AD in action.
Dear all,I think that the multiple renders is a nice to have, but (I don't know if I'm missing some step), I'm not able to set the focus of the camera for each view (assuming that every fixed view has its own camera, otherwise has no sense).these are my steps:1) set the view I like2) set the focus of my camera3) save the view ("View_01")4) move the camera to second view I like5) set a new focus of my camera6) save the new view ("View_02")7) latest check to "View_01" and the focus option is "off"Any kind of feedback will be really appreciated. My best regardsAlbertoadobe Dimension 2.2Build 2.2-20190325.r.811-224793d
The same OBJ file renders OK with same decals on Keyshot; But it comes flipped in Adobe Dimensions !!
Hi,The glow function in the Adobe render engine is more like removing all the textures of the object than glowing. Is there any plans on working with the glow function or the ability to add light sources?
Okey maybe not crash. But loading a SBSAR materials to an object loads and loads and loads and eventually I need to hard-restart Dimension. Also is there any way to bring my SBSAR files into dimension library rather than having them as files in a folder? This is not a fun way to work
Since the update I'm getting super confused in the library of models and materials. The icons are very small and also theres a huge blue checkmark in the corner of each object. Not good. And also I don't like that you removed Vray engine.
Hi, I have placed a 3D object and selected a background image. How can I additionally drag a normal graphic element (photo section) onto the surface? Thanks in advance for help!
Hi guyssorry for my English.Today I've update Dimension, but now I've lost more free material in the program:Metal GalvanizedAluminiumTitaniumI can't find it anywhere! Help me please
Does Dimensions allow you to bake and export textures to jpeg, png, etc? For example, I import an obj file of a model, and apply a metal shader. Could I bake out the lighting and detail created in Dimensions to use in a game? Or is it just more for mock ups and in-program design?
Hi, I have an issue with Dimension CCWhen I load an image to manage the glow, it doesn't wrap around the object. It just projects in one plane. What can I do to get the glow pattern to wrap around the object? And this is the Texture image I have used
Hi, interested about this topic. My purpose is to create a dark scene and place a spotlight on an object.Supposing to do this turning-off the environment light, place a random object (cube, cone, plane, etc..) and assign to it some brightness. It theoretically works, but don't, the "golden path" should be the same I've always done in Blender. The intensity of the light isn't adjustable (since I put 1% the light is always full) and isn't directional (it seems like an ambient occlusion).I've understood that Dimension isn't able to add lights, but in the meantime I don't understand the purpose of having a "brightness" to assign to an object.Any kind tip? Thanks in advanceMy best regardsAlbertoDimension build 2.1 20181130.r.778-9a5a81b
Dear all,I'm testing the sharing of the 3d scenes on the web, sending to colleagues the public link.It would be wonderful to send the links to the customers (we develop some products with 3d tools and we are testing Dimension for the renderings). The question: since the products are still in development and secrets, the word "public" scares me ... it just means that anyone who has the link can visit it or browse in Adobe's "account libraries" (I don't know if this is possible), everyone could monitor my uploads (thinking about competitors)? The question (2): I suppose it will be possible to include a link in a frame of an online product catalog ... Correct? Thanks for the kind feedbackMy best regardsAlberto
