Hello...I created an extensive index using apple Numbers..1900 items. I was hoping to make a link on my Dreamweaver page that would download the database and clicking a cell would take you to the proper page. Now I 've been reading and I don't understand the SQL... does it have to be so difficult ? 

I'm a print designer, and I need help doing something that should be easy but I can't figure out how to do it. All I want is to create a simple page with a horizontally centered image (a jpg of the layout that someone else will code) as a clent preview. In "olden" days, I could use an align center tag, but that's not an option any more. And I'm getting very frustrated trying to figure out how to do it with DW 2020 (part of my CC subscription). Code is not my friend: can anyone help me? (I'd be happy to answer any InDesign questions you might have in exchange.)

On dreamweaver CC 20 I have a bug on windows 10 with the shortcut "CTRL + ALT + R", it don't ingore the next occurrence.If I try to just select a word (without have did a "CTRL+ R" before), and I press "CTRL+ALT+R" it select all the same occurrence.If I try to put another shortcut for this command it work .. Thanks

Hi, I am planning on recreating our website because it is a mess because several have worked on it in the past and I don't think anythig has ever been deleted, etc. I want to start with a template and I remember reading that tables are not recomended. Before I begin, I wondered it anyone would be willing to offer helpful tips. I have taught myself all that I know about Dreamweaver and have worked on this site for several years. With that being said, I still consider myself a rookie. I am looking for simple, easy layout options. I greatly appreciate your expertise advice 🙂

Sorry, I mistakenly attached a file of the image rather than inserting it into my original post. Here is is again. On one of my sites the Properties panel within CSS Designer is grayed out. I can choose a selector but I can't edit the properties (they're grayed out) nor can I add selectors because the + sign is grayed out. For what it's worth I'm running the current version of DW on a brand new 27" iMac runnig OSX 10.15.7. I'm including a screenshot of the problem. Thanks,David

Hi. I've used Dreamweaver on a daily basis for many years to produce a news website. It suits my needs perfectly and has - until recently - been completely trouble-free! A few days ago however it became intermittently unstable - 'not responding' and blanking the screen after every other keystroke (particularly 'return'). The blanking probably only lasts three or four seconds before the display returns, but you'll appreciate that it's very frustrating! BTW it happens in both Code and Design view. It seems like it's conflicting with something (?) although I haven't introduced any new elements to my site. I thought it might be Microsoft OneDrive (when it's udating), but no. Any ideas? Re-install? Thanks, Tim.

Beside the files and snippets tab on the top left side of the page there is supposed to be a css designer tab which does not appear for me

I am in the process of creating an ebook for Kindle and wish to avoid a main heading at the bottom of a page. I am aware of ‘page-break-inside: avoid but would need to wrap a div around the main head and the first paragraph beneath it. There are a lot of these to do so I would like to know of any method that can do this easily without manually doing each instance.Thanks in advance.

I have created my complete website [broken link removed by moderator] in Dreamweaver but it wasn't functioning well. that's why i have moved it to wordpress now. My question how can I learn dreamweaver quickly so I can create top-notch websites?

I bought a Dreamweaver CS5.5 licence in 2011 (yes I know, but if it works, it works). Upon my purchase, the confirmation email clearly stated: "You can log back into 'Your Account' in the future to re-download your product or retrieve your serial number."  When I access my account, I see the serial numbers of my products, but I can no longer download them. Now, that my backup has died, I'm left without a copy of the software in case of a full crash. I paid my licence, I was told I could download it in the future. Support directs me here for help. Anybody know where can I find a SAFE and LEGAL download link to Dreamweaver CS5.5?

Has anyone noticed the latest update with Dreamweaver is causing it to move like a snail?  I type one word in and the program freezes until the entire program catches up to the small change.  Type in the next word, and exactly the same thing.  It's taking me minutes, not seconds, to type in one sentence.Anyone have a solution?Thanks

Hello.I have signed up for the monthly plan. Dreamweaver ran for a week then it decided that i need to re-login and wanted a code to proceed. I have entered it (came via email) and now the login-pupUp inside dreamweaver runs in a loop. Meaning the opoup appears, telling me that im signing in with xxx account or if i dont want i can close the window. There is 1 single sign-in button that will again bring up the same poup if pressed. It simply runs in a loop.Restrted PC, tried a dozen of times again without luck, Dreamweaver doesnt work anymore. Added to that im trying to find a way to contact support now for 20 minutes. Also without luck. Please dont tell me we are paying 30 Euro per month for something that doesnt even have support.

Ora ho scaricato Dreamweaver 20.2 e mi è "obsoleto" tutte le funzioni, tabelle, elementi, attributi, ecc. Io non sono una professionista, ma un'atodidatta e ho lavorato bene con tutte le precedenti versioni di Dw, ma ora sono in difficoltà. Vieni posso aggiornare il mio sito (di oltre 8000 file e oltre 4000 pagine, col nuovo Dreamweaver ? Sono tutte pagine (22 diversi). Potete aiutarmi? Grazie

Hi, I would like to use CS3 Effects - Shrink/Grow behaviour on multiple jpg. images throughout my site.  The application works fine for my purpose.  Is there any way that I can change the default selections in the Grow/Shrink panel.  Eg. it opens up the panel with Shrink - I select Grow...  Shrink to Centre - I want Top Left Corner... Toggle Effect is un-ticked - I want to tick box.  This would save me a great amount of time.  I have tried copy and paste the working code to each image/page but get myself in to an aweful pickle.  Thank you for any help.

There is a much frustrating and potentially disasterous UX flaw concerning the search window i windows version of DW cc 2020. 1. Select text from wherever into windows clipboard2. Goto any code showing window in dreamweaver cc 2020. (In my case a -js file.)3. Click Ctrl F to bring up the search box.4. Click Ctrl V to paste into the now selected search box.5. ERROR! The pasted text overwrites code in the code window rather that in the search box. What am I doing wrong? Or am I correct in this being an error in the user interface? br, Anders 

I had to reinstall Windows 10 and download the latest version of Dreamweaver.  I restored all my files, and created a new site, which was actually my old site, but now my javascripts are not working.  They worked fine before.  Is there some setting that enables javascripts?

Hello all, I'm an old-school designer (HTML) and I know how to do basic back end coding. But by the time I became and Internet Creative Director (former life, now I just do print and web freelance work), I had a team that did the coding -- I never got the hang of CSS and certainly don't have the skills to work on adaptive sites -- my current client uses an ipad, I use an Android Tablet -- and of course there's different sizes of mobile, tablets etc. I looked online for some tutorials and just don't have the time or skill to design for tablets when people rotate them, and mobile...etc etc. Does anyone know of templates that have floating code or whatever is needed for adaptive design? ftp 활용해서 사이트 수정할때 특히 렉이 엄청나네요.커서 움직일때마다 2~5초씩 딜레이 발생하는데, 혹시 해결하신분 계신가요??

I am running Dreamweaver 2020 20.2 on a Mac (Catilina 10.15.5).  U have been attempting to view my webpages (php files) in MAMP (5.5), and have been getting strange and unpredictable results. To debug, I deleted the definitions for bthe Test Server I had setup, and recreated it.  When I did, I got the message that tge cache bwas being cleared,  When this completed, I opened the Test Server, and the problem has been fixed. Myh question is: exactly werer are these cache files stored. Thanks ahead of time...  

Is there any way to keep code hinting on screen longer?When typing a function, it is handy to see the expected parameters for a given function. Unfortunately, Dreamwaver closes the hint immediately without any key press.Any way to extend the amount of time the hint remains visible?  

Does anybody out there know how to kick Dreanwaver in the butt and get it to perform like a real piece of software?   I'm 81 and I don't want to be found dead over the keyboard.   Please don't tell me "slow as whalepoop" is a feature.   A virtual Reese's Peanut Butter Cup to the wise individual that has an answer to this problem   (that ought to embarass the hell out of Adobe)

あまりDreamweaverのgitとチェックイン機能は相性が良くないような気がしてますが両方使うのは問題ないでしょうか？というのもDreamweaverで複数人で開発する際、長らく共用サーバーのリモートネットワークからチェックイン機能を使ってローカルにデータを落としてきて作業をしていました。(他の人が同ファイルを編集できないように)ただ、ローカルではDreamweaverのgit機能も使いたいと思い利用してみたのですが、リモートネットワークと同期する際に、リモートサーバー上にはないローカルファイルを削除にチェックを入れてしまうと隠しファイルのgitの設定まで削除されてしまうようです。隠しファイルgitの設定関連は削除しないようにする設定は無いのでしょうか？(添付画像参照)また、隠しファイルのためgitの設定を共用サーバーにputすることはないとは思いますがputする可能性はありますでしょうか？回答、宜しくおねがいします。
