The fan of my macbookpro runs like crazy when i open dreamweaver. I already had online adobe help that was very slow and took hours just to change one setting. I already un selected the automatically compilation in css settings..Also when i use alt/tab to switch 'focus' dreamwever doen's take it.. All other programs do..Also Dreamweaver is crashing randomly..OSX 10.15.6 (19G73)DW 20.2 15263 buildAlready did re-install DW One big pile of crap.Please fix!!!Now it is not usable.. and i pay for it!Refund request! 

Currently the image when I share a link to my site is the logo overscaled so cut off partially. How do I set a custom image to be displayed when I post a link (or it's shared) to my website?

Why does the thread below only show 27 replies when it says there are 36? https://community.adobe.com/t5/dreamweaver/changing-logo-on-menu-activate/td-p/11324745?page=1 There certainly are more than 27 replies, the other 9, most of which are mine and 'reelheros' are just are not showing? Explanation please if any moderator is awake and knows what they are doing (I know thats asking a lot but I live in hope) EDITED:After an hour of no response I'll take it that all the moderators are either on holiday, gone AWOL or have zero idea what is going on.  The third suggestion would be my very best guess. No real surprise there then.

Just recently started to learn DW. Some of the older tutorials I've seen show 3 icons in the lower right of the window: Desktop, Tablet and Mobile. The tutorials make it look so easy to just click on one of these icons and the window resizes to the chosen device size.Any way of getting these icons back in DW CC 2020,  rather than the laborious QR code method.For one thing, I don't have a tablet to send the page to.Some advice on this would be most appreciated. Tony

maybe I have no clue what i am doing but apparently styles.css  and styles.scss  cannot exist together in a folder. When I make the scss file - both files are then erased to blank.Anyone can help me. Thanks in advance 

I downloaded Dreamweaver as a Korean version in February. I would like to change this to the English version of Dreamweaver.Is it possible? Please tell me what to do.

Dreamweaver is constantly crashing especially when a .js file is linked or being opened.  Seems to be .js files from Animate that are especially problematic.  Anyone else having issues like this.

I developed a simple site several years ago that I would lime to edit with Dreamweaver. I used Dreamweaer theen but do not know how to open it up for editing. campaignbillboard.com.  

Just setup an html file with 2 simple links provided by my client to open  new window on an external site. It works on my iMac in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Opera.  But the links are not working on client's system.I receommended he flush his cache. What could be the problem??

Hi been happily using dreamweaver for years connecting to MS Access databases with the following string"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & Server.MapPath("/App_Data/AreaFacts.mdb") but am now using a newer version of MS Access database whth the extension .accdb but cannot find a connection string that works for the above database Thanks

At the end of last week, Windows 10 Pro performed some updates which required repeated reboots of my PC.This morning I switched it on and on executing Dreamweaver, my Adobe credentials were required to start the application.After this, I found out that username and password have been removed from ALL my DW websites.Are you informed about this issue?In order to ricover them, is there a faster way instead of typing them all back again?Thank you

Where are the moderators when you need one. This forum is getting worse as time goes by. Posts are being deleted for no reason by I suspect some silly dumb automated system or some silly dumb new twit who doesnt know their ass from their elbow. It's not good enough when contributors like myself give hours of time trying to solve DW users issues and problems and all I get is a poor forum experience and disrespect. Whoever is responsible for running this forum should be absolutely ashamed of themselves! Get your act together or get out and let someone who knows what they are doing take charge, please, its painful.

Hello, I edited a webpage that displays correctly in Firefox, Chrome and Safari but appears jumbled in Internet Explorer. Any recommendations? I don't see an issue in the code. On my preview in Explorer, it looks fine too but not live on Explorer. KT

When I make a change to a php script, the script RUNS on the server as if I typed the url in a browser and hit enter!  How is this possible.  I have Dreamweaver 20.2 I have verifed this is happening by looking in our log files after I make a change to a file.  I notice that the script that "runs" has random letters added to the files name.  [quote_sckcalc_2uj16ehs4z.php]  The 2uj16ehs4z is NOT part of the files name. Any ideas why/how this could happen! Thanks!

I would like to know if there is a way to check which styles or selectors are not used (external stylesheet)? Hi My old computer became unusable due to a hardware failure so I bought a new one and installed all my Adobe apps. I've just opened Dreamweaver and was expecting my Sites to load in automatically. I thought the site definitions were backed up remotely on my Adobe account. Does this feature exist or am I imagining it? If it does, how do I access/sync my site definitions?TIAChris

Hello, in 2005 I purchased Dreamweaver and installed it into my computer. Now I want to reinstall this product into my new computer. How can I do it with my old license?

Before I post this as a bug report on dreamweaver.uservoice.com I wanted to check whether someone else also has this problem and whether this is not a wrong configuration or wrong using of DW on my side. When I type something like "myfunction(" the closing bracket is automatically added. That's good. So I have "myFunction()". Now I place the cursor between "(" and ")", i.e. "(|)", and type another closing bracket ")". The result: No bracket is added! If I type another closing bracket, it's now added. This behaviour produces a lot of syntax errors in my code, because I constantly forget brackets. Sometimes I have large code lines with a lot of brackets and then maybe I add another one at the end and then at the beginning. The end bracket is not added, as described. If you type fast the not appearing bracket is not always obvious.

am using adobe dreamweaver cc 2019, html5 when i tried to create a login and registration form on my html5 files, i reliarized i had to link html with CCS after writing in html and clickin on the css button provided by the adobe top bar [ IT TOLD ME THAT CSS WASNOT INSTALLED ON MY LOCAL DISK, after i downloaded 2020 version of rapid css and html editor but again it failed to work? there was an option provided by the software that says "get" but it wasnot giving any results. previously used dreamweaver 8 on this same computer with no major headaches. upgraded to dreamweaver cs4, and I get crashes all the time. no pattern to the crashes.sometimes, adding a new folder to the site will cause it to crash (but not always).sometimes trying to navigate the remote site will cause dreamweaver cs4 to crash.sometimes looking at the screen will cause it to crash.anyone else having the same sorts of trouble? i might be ready to switch to zend studio.
