Hola Comunidad, Hoy tuve que formatear mi Mac y por ende Reinstalar todo adobe, resulta que al descargar Creative cluod y luego Dreamweaver, este ultimo solo me baja la version del 2021, la cual no se abre y muestra este mensaje "No se han podido cargar los archivos de resursos localizados de esta aplicacion" y se cierra. Alguien sabe como solucionar este problema? Atte Marcelo A. I have finished designing and coding my website. I am very new to coding so I used adobe xd to design it and the anima plugin to export it as code and then further tweaked the code to get the interactions i desired.I have run into a problem I seem to be unable to fix. Whenever I preview my website on a browser it is zoomed in. If I zoom the browser out to 75% the website is perfect. I thought it might have been a problem with the way I tweaked the code so I went back and downloaded the original file from anima (when previewed there the website loaded perfectly) and as soon as I open it in dreamweaver and preview it, it's zoomed in. I have all the standard inputs such as, <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1" />. but nothing seems to be helping. Even putting all the elements into a container and adjusting the position of the size of the container does not help. I am hoping this is a stupid rookie error with a quick fix!

Hi Guys   Yep, I know this has been covered before with the "CS3 is dead", but is isnt for many of us.   I bought my copy of CS3 and have been using it for my job for many years. Its been perfect, great software. But now I need to install it on a new PC and it seams I wont be able to do this because the registration servers are shut down.    Well thats not good enough. I paid for this software. I've looked at the latest version of Dreamweaver, tried the trial, tried to make it behave like CS3, but it's just not up to the job. I use CS3 for a intranet system for a large company, its doesnt need to have the latest features, its a intranet for running the business. Plus I'm about 5 years away from retirement and dont want to start again learning a new IDE ( which most definately wont be a adobe product ).   There should be a way to keep old legit software going. Until recently, I've successfully had my favicon file in the head section of my html, with it coming up in all browsers' search results. Now it's only present on the tab icon, once my website is loaded. How do I make it present in the search results, again? Thanks, Trains1985

I know the software is ancient, but it still does the basic things I need to do.  But I have a new PC now (Windows 11), and I can not recover the code from the application on my old PC (Windows 10). I've tried going to Help>Activation on my old PC"Transfer license" doesn't work because it can't connect to the internet"Online registration" same problem."Print Registration" doesn't do anything. I have my original install disc, but not the package it came in (ARGH).   Is my license key stored somewhere in the Dreamweaker folders I have on my C: drive?  I know, I know, I need to update.  Maybe later when I have more time to learn a new application.

I have a page with a background image. I am designing a website on education and a friend wrote a beautiful several paragraph article and I want to use it. Is there a good way to style it into Dreamweaver other than paragraph tags?Secondly, I have 7 catagories for the website: home, public schools, homeschooling, private schools, and charter schools. Is there a way to make one of the categories schools and then create a drop down menu for homeschooling, private schools, and charter schools?textech72 

I have activated Code Rewriting when I started using Dw recently. I appreciate it closing all tags, as my colleagues don't respect the proper HTML syntax.But I have encountered a problem: when I open our template, the </head> is moved to the wrong place. Our template is perfectly fine and correct, but we include some Salesforce AMP Script, and Dw moves the </head> to before this core code we need to run on our emails. Mind you that inserting code in the <head> is the official recommendation from Salesforce afaik (at least this is how we've been trained by certified instructors). It's also common practice to have <style> in the <head> so that's another reason not to move the </head>.  

Please add support for shortcuts that help navigating the code panel quickly.All code editors I've used allow to jump to the beginning/end of code with home/end CMD+UP/CMD+DOWN. This is highly inconvenient and surely an easy fix.I noticed that when pressing CMD+UP/DOWN the preview panel is highlighted for a moment, as if that is taking the input, despite the cursor is in the code window and I was typing code a moment before.

I have deletet more than half of my code and nothing is changing on split/live. I can see the modification only on saved file...

I am not having any luck on finding good documentation on how to create an extension for Dreamweaver 2021.I have tried google, dreamweaver help, and not having any luck.   Thanks

Hallo, ich kann Dreamweaver nicht installieren. Die Installation wird begonnen und bei 5 - 6% bricht die Installation immer ab. Fehlercode 198Hatte jemand schonmal das gleiche Problem? Wie kann ich das beheben? 

Hopefully I'm wording this correctly.   I have a very simple site for automotive repairs and upgrades. The crude coding works well enough for my needs, so please don't laugh at it. If I post a link on Facebook (or similar social media sites) the link shows a preview for that page but instead of showing the first photo at the top of the page, it shows one from much further down.   How can I get it to show the "correct" one? I just installed Dreamweaver to try it for 7 days. I used to use Dreamweaver 8 which suddenly didn't work. I succeeded in making connection, also in making changes. Putting files, also no problem, but when I go to the site, with different devices, I don't see the changes. How come?

in a code view of dreamviewer i've compressed parts of code with the small triagles on the left.now they are stuck as compressed and don't expand anymore

 I just use DW as a code editor.  I don't want to use the site feature - I tried it once and it interferes with the rest of my local environment.  Even though I deleted the site, every time I save this banner pops up and there's no "don't ask me again". I'm pretty close to kicking DW to the curb and this might be the proverbial straw that does it.

How do I email a reader a specific video on a web page full of videos? For example. I want to share the video Daniel 9 by Skip Heitzig which is on this web page:  https://lean-into-god.com/Scripture/September/Sept-17.html   If I send the web page link they are presented with many videos and if they are on a phone they must do a lot of scrolling to find that video. Isn't there some code I can use so when they click on the link I email or text them it will lead directly to this video and not to the whole web page? Hope this makes sense. I get asked to do this a lot, but I do not know how. Thank you. Rick

Hello there!   So I recently started working with Dreamweaver, I am using the 2021 version and have made a website I am fairly happy with. Now the thing is it looks as intended on my laptop, but when the site is visited by my boyfriend who has a way bigger screen, the entire website looks all messed up. Same goes for when you open it on a phone or even a slightly bigger laptop.    Is there an easy fix for this in Dreamweaver itself?    Thank you for your time 🙂

I have a bootstrap carousel in which the bootstrap "row" for each slide has a box-shadow applied. When the slide is transitioning the second slide shadow appears and doubles on top of each other (making the shadow look darker).
