Hi guys, Previously I used to be able to to preview an emailer in Internet Explorer from Dreamweaver CC and then send the page as an emailer to save it as an OFT.  However, now when I follow the same steps, the emailer opens with a dreamweaver icon and not the actual HTML. Pleaaaase helppp

HelloI need some help ... or explanation.I have a form with a php respond on a server that when I did it, I put my email to checked if I got a return.Well, when I saw that I got one, I took out my email and re-send the php file to the server.Mmm .. I still got emial from that form.Well, then, I deleted the php file from the server and re-send the new file (like 10 times verify that my email wasnt' on it) soI thought, problem solved.Guess what?  I'm still getting email from that form ... WT$?What's going on?How can I fix that?Did you ever had that kind of 'thing' happened to you?I'll wait for your respond ... this is freakyThanks

I'm trying to use the :hover feature on my menu, but I don't want it in use on the current page menu button. I've done this in the past with no issues, but now it isn't working. I've pasted both my html and css code below. Hello,I am taking a class currently that requires me to use Dreamweaver 2014.0 and I have been working on a homework assignment for three weeks now building onto a website that I am creating. One of the requirements for me to do was to create a home page which is my template and then create more pages, such as About Us, Contact, Menu, and so forth. My book showed me how to make the pages creating an .html site document and on my template Home page I have them all linked, but my next steps are to add some descriptions and images to two of the other pages, the Menu and Catering .html pages, but I can't edit a single thing when I have one of these files open in Dreamweaver. My cursor is that circle with a line slashed through and it doesn't change anywhere and I can't even access the code now either. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I did wrong? I hope that made sense I'm completely new to this so I don't understand the program well. Thank you!

wondering if i'm being an idiot here, but when i go to the FILE menu & select the NEW option, then NEW DOCUMENT dialog box comes up. when i select PHP in the DOCUMENT TYPE column & click the CREATE button, it creates an HTML file.the only option in the LAYOUT column is "<none>" and in the far right, under "<No preview>" it says "PHP document" then has a "DocType" dropdown that only has HTML options in it.i know it's not a huge deal, as i can just SELECT ALL > DELETE & start <? php stuff. but curious if there's a setting or something i'm missing here to have it just give me the <? straight away.thanks.FYI: using the latest CC 2018 version.

My webpage has some url's with Hebrew characters. When logging to dreamweaver (CS6, on Windows 10, website is on a Windows platform), I get an error message that relates to the language (see the red error message on the right). I have no problem using and editing in both Hebrew and English, but the Hebrew url's don't read, and in fact, are not downloaded to the local site. Not sure I worded the topic correctly, but this is my question.Main folder for site is "MyWebsite" and folders below that are "images", "videos", "events".In the main folder, I have most of my pages:  index, contact, blog, events.In the events folder, I have:  event1, event2, event3.On my mywebsite.com/events.html page, I have a list with links to:mywebsite.com/events/event1.htmlmywebsite.com/events/event2.htmlmywebsite.com/events/event3.htmlHow can I make it so if a user enters mywebsite.com/events/ in the address bar, that it pulls up mywebsite.com/events.html instead of a 404 or "Forbidden"?  (Is that even possible?)Thanks for any assistance!Cat

Hello,I have a page where I needed to add a link to the horizontal navigation. It causes the last link in the navigation to shift down. I have gone though every line of the html and the css file to try to find the code that would control the width of the links. I believe if I just reduce the width of the "Home" link it will cause the rest to fall into place. Can anyone tell me what line of the code might control the navigation link width? I am using Dreamweaver CC 2017 - when I try to save a .html file as a .css file it does not have a save as option. If I override the file name it causes DW to be stuck in code view, any thoughts on why that would be and how to work around/fix it?Thanks

Hi,Not sure what's missing here, but the link transitions from the white to the darker color. However, from original template somewhere within the transitional shift, I can see a blue color. How do I target that if hover & focus are already "used up" below? - When I check the source, I can see the culprit which likes in original template. I did try to add .link a { } and with another color; but it's just not hitting it to make the alteration. Hello,I would love to use Dreamweaver, but I can't afford it. I could afford it if is was half price. And I could afford a cut-down version if it was priced similar to Photoshop Elements - and that would suite me because I don't need to create a full-blown professional or commercial website.I wonder if there ever has been a Dreamweaver "Elements", or whether there is ever likely to be one?RegardsTony

I’ve about given up with DW CC2018 as it relates to boot strap.CC2018 Navbar Menu Code does not work when you test in a browser.  The Drop down menus won’t toggle or collapse.  I found Nancy O drop down menu works until…….I save in the html page. CC2018 rewrites the header information. What good is a web site with a menu?If I, for example, put a grid row container in the body and save the result is the same. CC2018 will rewrite the code it wants/needs.This is not a short time problem.  This is CC2017 through CC2018that I have the same issues. especialli mthe dropdown menus.  Adobe has not fixed the problem.  Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.Joe

Hi,Scenario: two columns of tick box items in a form. At smaller breakpoints their column gap is to my liking... at the largest breakpoint I feel it's too far apart (col-lg-12).Having it set to col-lg-7 would be perfect, but there seems to be no way to directly target that portion of the code because the form is a shortcode.I tried going directly into WPForms where it allows you to select that segment and apply custom classes. - Did not work.Then I tried adding this to the custom stylesheet that covers 991 min to 5000 max:#wpforms-228 .choice-2 depth-1 {    margin-left: -400px !important;  }...thinking only at this largest display will it bring col #2 closer to col #1 and reduce the gap. No luck!Any recommendations how to target?Thank you, using this tool is fairly new to me.

CSS v4 was released March of last year.  It is supposed to be faster and is also supposed to provide enhanced support for the progressive enhancement philosophy (mobile first design).Is this indeed the case?  Is it worth while coding CSS in v4 or will doing so create issues for end users?I would much appreciate your thoughts.CheersJay

I am trying to update a page (.PHP) from an existing, older website.  Upon opening, no content or code is displayed...the application suggests that the page includes "dynamically linked content" and asks if I would like it to open, I click "yes" and a progress bar at the top just endlessly appears to spin.   NOTHING HAPPENS and it appears to freeze the file, so I have to force-cancel the application.   This is by no means a complicated page I'm trying to edit...it has some CSS, a nav menu and an accordion containing the data I need to edit.    Using a MAC.   Please help?!!??!!

However, on the actual webpage, it looks much different:Even when I go into "preview in browser" from Dreamweaver, it appears like this:How am I able to make Dreamweaver appear exactly like the actual webpage, so I am able to make the necessary edits and see exactly how it will look? There seems to be conflicting information as to where abouts the <script> code should be inserted into the pages code. I've always inserted it directly AFTER the opening <body> tag but now I see on the Google information page it should be inserted directly AFTER the opening <head> tag or as close as possible.Any views?Os
