I've been updating a small business website for many years. It uses <!--#include file="sidebar1.html" --> to include a side navigation. In Dreamweaver CS3, the navigation would show up on the server but I couldn't see it in Dreamweaver. This was slightly annoying but workable. Now, updating for the first time in Dreamweaver CC, I can see the sidebar navigation in Dreamweaver WYSIWYG but it doesn't actually show up in any browser! How can I get it to work again?I thought maybe DWCC updated something without asking so I uploaded last year's version of the site from a backup but the nav is still absent. The "sidebar1.html" file is definitely on the server. I read that this include method is very old. Did browsers decide not to support it anymore? The clients here may be shutting down after this year so they don't want to rebuild the site. I've got to fix this somehow.I'm not good at code, but I found what may be a good replacement, so I tried using the method below, from How To Incl

I have a form set up that after the user fills in the information and hits the submit button, the form will eMail that info to the admin for that site. I have checked it several ways with the same result: Mac, iPad, and iPhone users have no problem sending the info. PC users have no success at all. I have even followed tutorials step-by-step to be sure I did everything right. From what I see, I did do everything as it should have been done. Is there a "special trick" I need to use to compensate for something in Windows 10? I appreciate any suggestions or ideas. I will send what I have typed upon request if needed.Thanks,Rick

I bought Macromedia StudioMX 2004 many years ago, mainly for Dreamweaver, and when I upgraded to a newer PC I can no longer register and use it. I just want to be able to use Dreamweaver as I previously did. Do I have any options, short of repurchasing the DW package?

I am using Dreamweaver cs6 from the master collection.  I recently did an update so that I could use raw images in Photoshop.  Since that update i have had my Dreamweaver randomly crash on me.  I lose all of the work that i have done and no option to recover.  I don't know how to explain what is causes it as it seems random.  Nothing seems to be consistent with the crashes.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program.  Please help me as this is really starting to cause a headache with everything that i have to redo.

I want to add an behavior to my website, it is a Xmascard that shall open after a second or two after load. Before I could use the timeline in DW but now I can´t find it! Why and how to do as I want?

MacOS 10.12.1 SierraDW CC 2017, as earlier versions, supports reloading extensions with a hidden command:   1. Make certain at least one file is open for editing   2. Make the Insert palette visible by going to Window --> Insert   3. Hold down Option key   4. Pull down on select menu at top left, default shown as "HTML"   5. Find and select new bottom item, "Reload Extensions"For me, doing this reliably causes DW to crash. (Either immediately, when I attempt to continue working, or multiple 10's of seconds later, if I do nothing after step #5 above.)Maybe I have a messed-up extension? This is infuriating. Dreamweaver build 10136 randomly crashes. Needles to say, all editing done on unsaved pages are gone. Wish you would come up with an autosave feature. Upon "creating new," after selecting html>bootstrap>create new, the file opens with multiple errors in the two attached .js files."Source code" and "bootstrap.css" have the green checkmark in properties panel, but "jquery-1.11.3.min.js" and "bootstrap.js" have red checkmarks and are full of errors. I am working on creating a site for my college final due at the end of this week and I cannot even begin because of these errors.I have uninstalled and reinstalled DW. Suppose I would like the server to ignore only a portion of a line of html. What are the symbols for that, if any? I seem to recall past use of those, but would prefer not to embark on a trial-and-error experimentation to try to recover them.With thanks in advance,and best holiday wishes,jwc

Help! I don't know much about Dreamweaver or coding but I am working on an e-mail blast. The images show up in dreamweaver, and they also show up if I click on the .html on my computer. If I email the .html, the images show up as blue question marks. How do I fix this? I have read not to link picture from folders on your computer, but I'm confused on how else I would do it?! Hello:I purchased Photoshow 1.0.3 for Dreamweaver.  When I try to install it, it says "The extension can not be installed.  It requires Dreamweaver 13 or greater".  I have Dreamweaver CC.  Adobe support is not offered on this product, so then sent me to this forum.  Does anyone know how to install this Add On.  I paid $9.99 to Adobe and would like to use it.Thanks !

Hello, all,Sorry for posting this question, here, but I couldn't find an Adobe forum for just HTML/CSS/jQuery stuff.I am attempting to use jQuery autocomplete, and I've got the .js and .css files loaded, it's working, but there's a slight issue.  When the suggested items appear below the input text field, the 'box' that they appear in extends past the right edge of the browser in FireFox53, IE11, and Chrome56.  The horizontal slidebar appears at the bottom of the browser and presents a slider that's about half the width of the browser.  I can't figure out how to get it to go away.  Any suggestions appreciated.V/r,^ _ ^

As you can see from that image, I want "My Resume Service-Package Options" to have a white background and not the grey gradient color it overlays. I wonder if anyone could help me to solve a problem in Dreamweaver CC? The problem is that I can't align some textcontent with a colored background in the bottom with other content in a row. The sketch illustrates what I mean. I have tried with 100vh but that doesn't work, and I've tried with grid-containers, but though I have a margin on the right side the content flows outside it. What shall I do? I'm not using pixelheight because I want it to flow when resizing browswers. Any suggestion how to code this right?
