I am using a Javascript function for my navigation menu. Why isnt the function working? I have copied and pasted many excel files (tables) over the years.I am a CC subscriber, so have the latest version of Dreamweaver.I have an excel file (table) that is about 3500 lines long and 6 fields wide that I need to copy/paste to my web site.  Getting the file too large error and can't locate a parameter file to edit.Any help appreciated.Thank You,

The panels are all there, but they no longer lock onto the right side of the window as they used to. (Wasn't that called the "dock"?) This problem started when Microsoft did the latest upgrade to Windows 10

Hello just curious how do you mimmic this picture using Divs or HTML5 Elements using article,section an what not? I know tables is out dated.

I have DW CS6, but the problem has started with earlier versions for the past few years.101 Art Gallery - Fazal Ali 2017 This is a page where I created thumbnails of art works that pop up and enlarge to medium sized pictures.After uploading, everything works well.  But  when I make changes to the page, maybe text and reupload, the pop up function stops working. Worse, this homepage has hundreds of pages and old galleries from years ago which are also supposed to pop up at all times. But when I make a change to the template for example, like adding a link ( which changes all pages made from it), then, after reuploading all pages, every page that has a gallery on it with pop ups, stop working? I then have to select one thumbnail on each page,  and make it  pop up, then save the entire page and then all pop ups on that page work again. Hi, I've recently made a website using Adobe Dreamweaver. I was able to load the website through google chrome, but after I got in and clicked a tab, I was unable to go to other tabs, or even the homepage. Any idea which functions to use to solve the problem(New to DW here)?P.S.I was able to use other tabs using DW, however, I encountered issues after entering the IP address, I was only able to access one tab and was not able to go to others, or even return to homepage.

Hi community! EVISSI :: Natural Cactus Water  On desktop version there is a movie behind the text, on phone/tablet the movie doesn't show but ever since I put the class="fluid Logo hide_mobile hide_tablet" the is a app. 20pixels space above the movie??Also .... it's beautiful on big screen, but when I resize my screen smaller the div with movie/text/can goes over the bottom div. I can't seem to fix this (it surely must be easy ;o)

Dreamweaver CC. Windows 10Using a David Powers tutorial in Lynda and his exercise files all is well. I load a file and Split view and Live shows the web site being designed and the Code as expected.I then tried to setup with a local server fro a dynamic site. Site - Manage sitesServer setup - Testing Server button selected then Finally  in the Advanced box I have ticked Maintain synch and Model PHP MySQL selected. Auto Push ticked.The site appears as exced in my Filepe box but when I load a file to edit I can see the page in Design view and the Code below, but i I switch to Live view, the page disappears and I just see a white box.Clicking on Real time preview results in the error message This site can’t be reachedlocalhost refused to connect.Try:Checking the connectionChecking the proxy and the firewallERR_CONNECTION_REFUSEDWhat have I done wrong!

I am running CS5.5 version 11.4 build 5366 on MAC OS Sierra. Dreamweaver keeps just shutting down, it turns right off... poof it's gone ans so is anything I haven't saved.Please help!

After I reinstall my win7 system  I installed DW in my PC.  I have three problem below1. I found that my Preference window look like that (its width is so long)who can tell me how to adjust it ?? 2. Hi, I have a local webserver running on a Raspberry Pi 3. It's just for testing and I want to edit some wordpress-pages now though I can't get Dreamweaver to connect ot the SFTP on the Pi. I have no problem to connect with WinSCP, though. The internal client gives me a wrong Passwort error I guess.I even gave root a password, but still no luck. Any idea what I can try?

The Dreamweaver implementation of Git actually works very well and it has a user interface that fits nicely into the DW workflow. However, I'm using Dreamweaver with Bitbucket and I don't get any notifications when there are pulls to be made from the server. I don't know if Dreamweaver check the remote repository at all, but it would be nice to have some controls to set if and how often to check remotes.This could be a set of global options, but I guess it only needs to check the selected project/site.

HiI write tutorials for school students.  In our CC 2015 edition, we had the following (with visual examples):1. Recent versions of Dreamweaver have a JavaScript debugger which will find some mistakes.  Errors are displayed in a dark bar near the top of the screen. 2. Dreamweaver will colour the code in a way that may help you detect some errors.  This will come with practice.With 2017, I can't get DW to identify any errors, even if I type the following:<script>alrt ("Hello. How are you today?")</script>I've tried the output console and code inspector.Are there any simple debugging tools I can suggest to beginners, or is there a problem with my installation?Thanks

It used to be that if I made any change to a filename in the files panel, DW had already cataloged all the files in the site that link tot he previous name, and it would ask me if I wanted to change all those links to the new filename. Suddenly, with a site that I have just imported from a client's files, this is not working. What do I need to change/set for this assistance?You know how it is: a client hands over all the files to you for an upgrade, and you discover all the filenames have inconsistencies, horrible names, illegal characters, scattered in various folders, or all dumped in the root folder... you want to tidy up. It used to be that if I dragged a file to a folder in the files panel, DW would warn me and ask if I wanted to update all the files that link to it. Pressing Okay would solve it near-instantly. Same for editing a filename (renaming), or appending "l" to ".htm" files and the like. !Somehow I have "turned off" this feature. Can anyone tell me how to get it back? Mus

Sites often use .asp files for you to download that are their forms to be viewed in PDF form. When clicking on those files on my Mac in either Firefox or Safari, the file is opened automatically in Dreamweaver, showing it in coding format. If I try to open the ASP file from the Download folder with Reader, it starts, then I'm told there's a problem with the file and it can't be opened. Have run into this problem with other computers.Chris

When I test from DW, Connected to your web server successfully.From site setup:   FTP address had  ftp.ipage.com   then change ftp.mydomainname.com....What's the different?Web URL:  Http://ftp.ipage.com  then changed to ftp.mydomainname.com....again What's the differnt?Both way worked to upload but getting message .....file activity incomplate......Need help to recheck my Site Definition......Thanks for reading.......I attached error message
