My Dreamweaver Live Preview stopped connecting to every browser I have. I kept getting a local host refused connection. I tried changing server info under site manager & a few other things. For me the issue seems to have resolved when I simply opened WAMP; it seems since I installed WAMPServer64 it had to be activated/started. Once I opened it, Dreamweaver's Live Preview started working again. Watched this video & my problem was solved; while video not that informative, it put me on the right track for my issue.Hope this helps someone else too.

DW cs6 in data base panel not active the plus + icon to add database connection to .aspx pages with C# ..we can see that in image attached.

Hi,If I remember well, after a major update in Dreamweaver CC (I have been using Dreamweaver since 1999) a few months ago - the search facility totally stopped working. Eg below:I have given a page name about.asp and selected Current site - and the result is nothing. Is there anything to be changed? PS: I am using it in Mac os Sierra.

I have a website that I've made in wordpress and bought a theme for it. I'm wanting to make the site into a Iphone and Android app so it's easily accessible on clients phones. I have done tons of research but cant seem to find the answer I'm looking for. Any suggestions or tutorials that could lead me in the right direction? Which Adobe program would I use to import and convert the site? Thank you in advance!

Adobe says about the new 2017 version:Code formattingWhen you write code, Dreamweaver auto-indents the code to circumvent erroneous manual indentation and improve readability. I'd like to turn this off. I prefer to do it myself.

Hey guys, Every time I load my website, my iFrame keeps breaking out. This means that the iFrame enlarges to a full screen. I have a snippet of code in the HTML portion of my page now which seems to do the job.Code:<script type="text/javascript">    window.onbeforeunload = function () {                               return "This will end your session";    }</script>Although it seems to work fine in terms of keeping the URL from busting out of the iframe, it loads a prompt: This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave - data you have entered may not be saved. I have been using DW for many, many years, probably something like 10 years.I always loved it. I just recently changed laptop and decided to start using the subscription version of DW CC (previously I was still using one of the versions where you could just buy a licence).This new version however I can't use. I list here my problems, maybe it's just me but I can't see how to fix them and I don't understand how anyone could accept to use this software:- The code and design views get out of sync- The I select an html tag, it selects the entire tag and its corresponding closing tag even though and the selection is blue which hides the cursor behind it which is also blue.- Sometimes I copy text and it copies some other text from a random location- I have an i7 generation 7 with SSD disk and 8MB ram and yet using Dreamweaver makes the CPU fan on all the timeAll these things are driving me crazy and I can't find a way to fix them.Is it possible to roll back to a more decent version of DW, I

I'm trying to copy a set of values directly into the code for an HTML document I'm working on. (Before you ask: yes, this stuff has to be hard coded; no, I can't put it in a database; no, it wasn't my idea to do it this way) Even though I'm copying just text, when I hit ctrl-v to paste where I want it, Dreamweaver thinks I'm trying to paste in an image. I can hit "Cancel" on the dialog (or just hit the Esc key) and then repeat the ctrl-v and it works as expected at that point. I've already set the "Text only" option in the Copy/Paste section of Preferences, so I know that's not the solution.Any idea why it's doing that and how I can get it to stop?

Since updated to the latest version of Dreamweaver (with Git functionality), the program stalls/freezes/locks-up randomly for exactly 5 seconds. I only use Dreamweaver in code view, so I don't know if it happens in other views, but in code view, I'll be typing away and the cursor will just disappear for 5 seconds and then return. This happens several hundred times a day.Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, do you have a fix?

I have a page that shows the linked assets horizontally across. Like this:[Source Code]     [something.js]     [something.css]     [somethingelse.css]     [another.js]The problem is (code view for all):If I scroll (mouse scroll wheel) to a certain point in the code on Source Code, make some edits, then click over to a CSS file and scroll to edit there...when I go back to Source Code I'm not at the same point I was before...where my last edit was. This happens on all pages - I'm always losing my place and I have to search to where I left, which can be maddening with thousands of lines of code.Anyone else experience this? It's like files are being scrolled as I scroll on other files? Is there a setting I missed? In work, one of my colleagues is having a bit of a problem with extension-less XML files. We have it set up that DW will open it, but despite there being the XML DTD at the top, it is not recognising it in terms of code formatting and colouring or validation. She is using DW CC 17.0.2Mine is working fine, though I am on a much older licence - I'm using CS4. We've been through all the configurations we can think of and can't see any differences between our setups. Is this a known issue, or is there something we're missing.Note that it is NOT possible to add an extension to these files, as they come from another system and must be named the way they are.

Hi,I'am running the latest version of Dreamviewer CC and experiencing what i would call a dangerous bug/problem.When working in code view and hovering over a URL inside a file_get_contents function, Dreamviewer is loading this URL and displaying a "image not found" message on top.I create API's in PHP and when Dreamviewer load this URL, it actually runs the live API, which is not okay at all.I have Goolged and found many people having the same problem and with no option to disable this annoying thing.Also, there is no logic in Dreamviewer trying to fetch and preview a image from URLs like https://domain.com/api/api.php?secret=XXXXHOW TO DISABLE IMAGE PREVIEW?

I have a problem with https and Dreamweaver: When an img src contains "https://www.example....", Dreamweaver doesn't start (No response). Ciao,I have a windows 10 laptop with the latest CC installed, I'm regularly using  all the Adobe products that I've installed (PS, AI, ID, AA, XD, PR, AE, etc) but Dreamweaver.When I try to start it nothing happens, if I check on the windows task manager I can find the DW process in background.I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall both DW than CC. Useless to say that i really need that software to work, ac anyone help me?Thanks in advance
