In the new Dreamweaver CC 2017 multiple cursors were introduced. While this is in a way a cool feature, i'd rather like to switch it off because if you don't pay attention you can easily edit by accident other parts of the code when you pressed CMD (mac). The old behaviour worked much better for my workflow: Select a part of the code, hold CMD and drag that selection somewhere else, so it copies that selected code there. Is it still possible to get that behaviour back? Is it some parameter in brackets.json that can be set? Thanks.

Quicks question I've embedded some  deviant art pictures on my site which  work fine in preview Mode but are not connecting when site is uploaded. Has anyone else had this issue if so what's the solution??

HelloWhile editing javascript file jQuery code hints are never shown.I have already deleted cache file and reset settings.Moreover, my Code Hints menu in Preferences is empty (see attached image).How can I use jQuery code hints? They worked perfectly in previous versions of Dreamweaver...Thanks!

Has anyone worked out how to set code format options for CSS when using the 'format code' option.I know the CSS format options it's been removed from the preferencesI know there are some options when setting up preprocessors... What I want to know is if anyone has worked out where in all the CodeMIrror files you can edit the options for how your CSS code is formatted when working on a site WITHOUT using a preprocessr?

Hello,My navigation works and scrolls to the right section but the down states are incorrect in the menu. Since this is one page I can't manually add an "active" class to another html page. How can you specify the active state in the menu when on a specific section of the page? This is a simple site. I've had a Dreamweaver site for about 12 years, but this is something I can't figure out.On this page Homeschool Speech and Debate there is an image of a book cover -- The Fallacy Detective.I think I found the code for this on one of the tabs.I want the words under the image to say the title of the book and link to my affiliate link for that book on Amazon.This is how I wrote the code but it doesn't work. What should the code be? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else having issues with 2017.0.1, Build 9346? I'm having annoying issues:- Unable to save certain files with "Ctrl+S", I have to Alt-F-L (Save All)- Dreamweaver Crashes after saving documentsI never had stability issues with previous builds, but this version seems to like to crash on me. Hello! I am having some trouble connecting my form on dreamweaver to my database that i have set up on my cpanel. What I am trying to do is create a registration form that connects to the database that I have on the phpmyadmin page on my cpanel. This way users can register and their information will be saved on the mysql database.one of the issues is that i am not quite sure what to put under  the MySQL Connection which are found when adding a database in the Database window on DW. another issue is that i have a FTP host already connected to the website but not a testing server. i assumed that i already have one set up due to thisIf anyone can help me with this matter, that would be awesome!

Hello Dreamweaver Community! How do I create only 1 mobile version for my entire website? or link back to the same exact mobile version from every page?I'm sure this question has been answered so I hope it's an easy fix for me and I don't have to start all over but I've missed a step in the process. Currently I have to update every single page of the website if I make a change to the mobile version. I thought when I create the fluid grid layout that it would automatically link back to the same mobile version I created from the index page. It is very time consuming for me to have to update the mobile code for each page. Please help!Thanks,

I am working on building a website. I get the css complete but when i go and change it based on the browser size (nothing happens). This is what Dreamweaver has in the css and the the div class goes below it./* Mobile Layout: 480px and below. */ /* Tablet Layout: 481px to 768px. I have been given a large table to insert onto a website,However I need to colour in certain cells and place borders around certain groups of cells.I've tried this in Visual Studio2013 and also in DW CS6 but there seems to be no easy way to highlight the cells and colour these in as desired in any sort of WYSIWYG format.Is this possible in CS6 or should I look elsewhere.Thanks in advance for any feedback.Terry

#1 Code Color Choices removed. This needs to be easier than manually editing LESS and JSON files.   I would much prefer to have my old code colors back but they are in an XML file and it's going to take some major doing to translate that to LESS.#2 Files Panel Headers.  I think this should be turned on by default instead of making people hunt for ways to turn it on. #3 Hi-Def Aware UI Scaling. The lack of support for this is really hurting some people.  'Nuff said.#4  Preview in Browser/Real Time Preview.  Is there any way to turn off Real Time Preview?  I'm getting really wacky results with it. This is what I'm trying to view - a basic Bootstrap,  2-column layout.Real Time Preview is showing a Bootstrap Carousel that doesn't exist in this document.  Not even close.If anyone has more stuff to add, please chime in.Nancy O.

For some reason no matter what I try I can't drag tables around and it's really annoying, it's making everything a lot harder than ever and also, I can't set myself to beginner for some reason. I do have 2017 and I'm on a PC is this helps. But really it's frustrating. I don't do the coding, I design more than anything.

The submit button is meant to be emailing the data in the form, but isn't doing anything at all. I am aware that the mailto action is unreliable, but I'm unable to use any server side code instead of it, and I don't know of any other ways to make it send an email. Hey guys-I would like to know what is the best solution for trying to put together a site like http://capelrugs.com.  The rugs will need to be searched by color, design, size, etc.   Just wanted to see what the best/easiest solution available. I already have a program that keeps track of the inventory and will export it in an Excel format. I was thinking about Php and MySQL. Just wondering if there is some software that would make the process a little easier. The website will not have a shopping cart. Only the search engine built in the html.Thanks in advanced-J

I want to start this with I love the new version if it could just work! I have been going through the gammut today and yesterday. I think I will just have to put this aside for awhile till they get this worked out. I can't use it with all the crashing and jumpiness. I am trying too put in a video and it took me ten minutes. C'Mon Man! I mean I have other issues of course that I can overlook but when I try to  copy a template then put in simple links, put in a video in the placehoider which has taken me 15 minutes! Hello, First let me say that I am a retired network person _not_ a web developer, so this may be a simple question, but any help would be appreciated.A non-profit asked me if I would develop a web page for them.  I am doing it Pro Bono (Free) using Dreamweaver CS 6.I put a Horizontal SPRY menu bar in a "Draw AP Div" and right below it I have another "Div" that holds the text for the page.   In both Live view and Preview in Browser I ram having two problems with the menu bar.  when the sub menu drops down it conflicts with the page's body text.when I pull the mouse down I can only access the top most sub menu item.  Going further down to the second item and the sub menu disappears.Here is a capture in Design + Live view (ignore the red box at the bottom it is automatically added by the screen capture utility):If I pull the mouse straight down Item 1.1 will highlight, if I go down to Item 1.2 the sub menu disappears.Also the menu item text does not look good over
