Questions

I have multiple sites set up in Dreamweaver and have clicked the box to Associate a Git Repository with this site for each of them. I can stage, commit and even push files for all of the sites but one. I have tried deleting that site from Dreamweaver and setting it up again, but to no avail. Can someone please help me figure out why this is the only one that will not work?

Hi, I exported a file from InDesign using the in5 plug in. But there are sections that are greyed out (see image) and that I can't delete. Any suggestions? Thanks!Valeria

The Code panel doesn't work correctly. Among other issues, like not being able to use select + opt + grab to copy, it sometimes also selects the wrong corresponding text in the Code side when that text is selected on the Design panel. And as the attached video shows, italicizing has an issue. And there's more: often clicking on an image and using the Properties panel to adjust its size crashes Dreamweaver.

a minor glitch-- If you select any movie on this page https://toddheymandirector.com/reel/ the movie automatically (correctly) begins playing.. however the play icon continues to be displayed. It should be the pause icon since it is playing. On one of my sites, I attempted to use the SELECT files updated since 1 Day.  It worked yesterday, but today I get the following error: I have no clue as what to do?  Any assistance would really be appreciated!!! Paul From Orange 

I would like to see Dreamweaver implement Liquid Syntax Highlighting like the one for Sublime Text here: https://github.com/siteleaf/liquid-syntax-mode or similar with auto completion snippets built in. Something like a mixed document type of HTML(Liquid).  It would be great if we could map documents with specific extensions to other doc types. For example, when developing sites on Adobe Business Catalyst, I often save files with the .inc extension.  Dreamweaver by default recognizes these as text documents with no syntax highlighting. Every time I open the document I have to manually switch the document type to HTML.  If I could map .inc extension as HTML doc type, that would be awesome, or better yet as HTML(liquid) doc type.

Hi,New computer, no old CS3 to use to update old CS3 designed web site.If I add Dreamweaver in its current form to my Creative Cloud Apps, will I be able to use it to connect to and update the old web site? Does the new Dreamweaver use WYSIWYG divided interface with html, like the older version?What other questions do I need to ask.  There is need to access and update the old site.Thank you.  I remain hopeful.

I created two websites using Dreamweaver CS5.  I cannot transfer it to my new computer.  Adobe help has been entirely unsatisfactory.  Is there a substitute program that I can use to service my websites?

Hello everyone This age-old problem is still huanting me, so I would like a solution, please. To illustrate it, Dreamweaver, even in its version 21.3, compiles every SASS file whether I turn on Enable Auto Compilation On File Save or not. Changing the CSS Output options has never solved this, and the app just constantly compiles all of the SASS files nagging me to hell. Thanks for reading.

We use Git with Dreamweaver. After doing anything with Git, the Git Results dialog window remains onscreen. It has no close box or any way I can find to dismiss it, but when it's up, nothing else can be used in Dreamweaver. This means I have to force-quit Dreamweaver after every Git use. Anyone know a solution to this?

Despite everything which seems to have been posted here and elsewhere on the Internet, I have just discovered (from necessity!) that there is aw way to re-purpose an old GoLive-built Site into Dreamweaver.However, you do need to know how to edit HTML Code to do this. The trick seems to be to open each HTML "Page" in Dreamweaver and clean-up the messy GL code in DW. The whole page opened, complete with all the original linked images, so now I only need to repeat this for about a dozen more pages (and linked sub-pages); Save them into a DW Site folder; link them all together again and then continue to edit and update the entire web site to 2020 standards. This necessity got sprung on me because a very long-term and faithful client needs me to completely update the very complex web site which I had originally created for him in the 1990s and then re-furbished in 2014. The thought of starting from scratch would have been daunting for me (and very expensive for the Clien

It appears that great many features are being stripped down from Dreamweaver.  You no longer can create Templates, Library items, use web fonts, extract CSS… . What is going on?  Is this app going the way of Muse and many others? Why is Adobe so tight mouth about what is going on with their flagship web dev app?! Does any one know what is going on?!

I'm using Dreamweaver 2022 on Mac OS 12.2.1I have a dropdown in my navbar that does not work. Dear all, I seem to have a scrolling problem when I test my website for mobile devices in Google Chrome developer; The bottom of my 'aside' division remains stuck behind the footer (which is fixed) and won't move up any further.
