Dream weaver version 21. 3 working on Mc 12.6 Monterey. I am having issues with FIND and REPLACE FILES  when trying to chage lage data at one time . Single lines of data changes work ok all site pages are updated. I have enclosed my small test site to pay with. Its a large sports bowls club web site over 600 pages  I have copied a few lines of data amd made a small testbox site with different content background colours to make checking pages easier. Please try to choose a complete menu option of data ( i.e competions) enter that in the top box of the Find and Replace Files pop up box. Choose another folder with the same data in it add a line of test e.g TESTBOX TEXT TEST. Copy that page of data as the replace data in the bottom box of the pop up. It only updates the one page . If I change one line of data but using the same mechanisim it all works 600 plus pages are updated. Thank you Les Keen UK [mod note: removed private info to protect you. Not sure if it's a bug report or a question.I use the null coalescing operator in a few of my pages to easily check if a variable exists before using it in order to easily avoid "variable does not exist" errors. I'm in the process of updating a website that was created with Dreamweaver 8 to Dreamweaver 22. This was made necessary due to the newer PHP 7.2 that our web hosting site moved to. The MySQL database connection wouldn't work anymore. It has a data entry form with a List/Menu dropdown select box that is populated from the MySQL database table using a recordset. I was able to fix the PHP database code so I can connect, & populate the recordset, but I'm having a problem finding the List/Menu or equivalent control in Dreamweaver 22. I have looked thru Dreamweaver 22, and searched the internet, but no luck. Can anyone help me with finding a replacement for this form control?Thanks

Hello,I am experiecing problem when opening files in Dreamweaver. When I build a .html file everything seems to be working fine. After I save the file and close it, when I open it again there are some languages for which the text is broken and strange symbols are being displayed. I double checked the Econding properties and everything is set up correctly. For example here is a piece of the broken text:Уикендът е тук, както и вашият незабавен рабат в казиното 🎉 Thank you in advance! 

Hi there, when I push return in Code View my cursor always jumps to the middle of the next line which is undesirable. How can I stop this?  when I was using dreamweaver, I was working on navigation coding and it quit unexpectedly. I reopened it and it ask me about unsaved files or data was still there and it ask me to either "recover" or "discard". I can't click on either of them because, it's loading very slow and does not respond and I can't do anything else on dreamweaver. I try turning off the laptop, uninstall and reinstall, nothing had work. This is a MacBook I'm using

Over a year now and I have tolerated the dysfunctional behavior of the properties window and do not wish to tolerate it anymore.  It causes Dreamweaver to stall in its tracks, screen to go blank a couple times, and finally resolve itself. I have tried closing/reopening Dreamweaver, rebooting, reinstalling Dreamweaver, cleaning the registry (I know that doesn't accomplish anything but I tried anyway because I am desperate to solve this issue).  This is not an occasional problem. It happens every time I open the Properties window.  Annoying to say the least. Anyone else with this issue?  Thoughts?  Thanks.

Last week, I updated to the latest Dreamweaver CC 2020 for Windows 10, and now my View preferences are reset to default and I can't save my preferred View. I would like Dreamweaver to remember Split Vertically and uncheck Live View on Left. It's super annoying to have to specify my view preferences every time I open a document or start a new one. Things I have tried:- Created a new Workspace with everything set the way I like. Tried exiting the program, restarting the computer. Selecting that new workspace changes nothing.- Tried reseting my Dreamweaver preferences to default using the Windows Key + Shift + Control while opening the .exe. The reset did indeed happen, but once again, setting up a new workspace and specifying my preferred split and view did not save. Every time I open Dreamweaver, it goes back to horizontal split and live view on Top/Left.- Tried creating a new document, setting my workspace, setting my view preferences, saving the document, then loading it after restart

Hi,resetting Dreamweaver (»Hold down the Windows key + Ctrl + Shift and double-click Dreamweaver.exe.«) means, that all my personal preferences, e.g. shortcuts, will be deleted and therefore I have to restore them by hand – or by the synchronization settings?  Background:  DW (and other programs of CC 2021) starts and responds very slowly.And (not only) in this article there is no hint how to restore the personal settings: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html Thanks,mycc   

I am using DW 21.3, Build 15593 on an iMac. When I use tag autofill by typing the tag name and hitting the tab key, the closing the angle brackets and closing tag are entered correctly. But when I hit the return key to add a line space the closing tag just drops to the line below with the same indent. I have to hit return followed by the tab key to create a blank line with the proper indent for the new tag that I want to enter. In the tutorial, when the presenter demonstrates this technique, a new blank line with the proper indent for a new tag is created between the opening and closing tags.Is there any way I can change my settings to accomplish this?

I'm working on creating a webpage for an assignment. I am to send my html files on a flash drive. Upon testing the sites, none of my pictures are showing. Is there a way to "embed" them so that they will be there when I send my html files?  I am very new to Dreamweaver, so I'm sure there's something I'm missing. 

Hi folks.In Dw I'm using the interface 'Light'.The problem is, when I highlight say <div> and look for the closing </div>, it's highlighted in a very pale colour, so not easy to see,Is there a way to change this highlighting colour whithout changing the whole interface theme? (See attached)

I cannot connect to server. The error message I've received is:An FTP error occurred – cannot make connection to host. User limit reached or not authorized to make the connection due to local firewall blocking FTP data. Things I've donechecked with host – I was told everything is entered correctlychecked with my IT guy – he has removed all firewalls from wificonnected to internet using hot spot on my phone – same error messagechecked System Preferences (on my MacBook Pro)and turned off firewallstarted and restarted program several times Can anyone help???Many thanks

If not, my apologies. "Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a Book (2022 Release)" is, according to Adobe, "The official training book from Adobe," as stated on the cover.  It is sold by Adobe Press. I cannot find a forum for this specific book.  Adobe Press has no forums.My question: Has anyone experienced, as have I, the total absence of anything about "Snippets" in this book, other than the word and nothing else appearing in nebulous places? It incredibly does not appear in the Index. The word appears solo in "Touring the workspace," "Working with predefined layouts," "Creating an external link," Finding and replacing text," and "Working with CSS preprocessors."  Five places. One word. No help on the subject. Am I missing something?  How in the world can this be? Any thoughts on this, folks?  By the way - $51.

Dreamweaver 21.3 installed, not sure if this is a new feature or a bug.  If its a new feature, please put the option in preferences for the end user to choose whether they want this new feature or not.  Please stop breaking Dreamweaver every few months. when using the pointing tool to link to an img file, it used to be that the height and width were automatically grabbed by DW to get those dimensions and add the attributes "height" and "width" for the amount of pixels.  Now when I use the pointer tool, i have to take an extra step to click on the "do not enter" icon (circle with half an x going thru it) to get DW to populate that info.  I shouldnt have to do two steps to get this info into my line of code, when for years, one step got it done.  If this is a new feature for whatever reason, put the option for the end user to use Legacy or the newer way to do it in Edit, Preferences!
