Hello I want to move my Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to a new computer. I tried deactivating it but get a message saying I need to adjust the internet proxy setting on my computer. I've no idea what that means! Can you help? It would be much appreciated.  I also have Premiere Elements 12 and Photoshop CS3 Extended. I have the seial number of all of these.

hi, I'm trying to brush up on my Dreamweaver skills, but there's no audio on the video. My Macs audio system is functioning perfectly, so what's the issue here? Darren

I'm doing a find/replace using this regex:([A-Z]{3,4}\s\d{3}) It should match patterns like this: INFO 120 or POL 312 But is also matched "ered 300" in the string "course numbered 300 or ..."  Shouldn't [A-Z] only match uppercase letters?

If I have some navigation links within a library item and they are hyperlinks to a subfoldere.g.<a href="../example/">example </a> then Dreamweaver will rewrite this to<a href="../example">example </a> i.e. it removes the trailing space and makes the link look like it is going to a single page rather than a directory. Also if you do have a page with that name it will be loaded instead of the intended directory. Is there any way to stop this from happening? Google will see these are two separate URLs and so it is bad for SEO. I could just avoid this by linking to "../example/index.html" but that is ugly and means that any future change to, for example .php, would mean changing all the links.

Hello!Suddenly the toolbar for e.g. creating links disappeared. Can not get it back although I´ve resetted and after that reinstalled Dreamweaver 21, Windows 11.Fredrik

Running macos 15.6.1Dreamweaver 21.2Mac mini M1Last week DW began to hang, a lot. This usually occurred when Dreamweaver was launching. Adobe Support had me uninstall 21.6. They told me to install version 21.2. Now, when I try to edit css stylesheets, none of my attempts show any results. I want to widen the div containing text. I also want to slide it to the left. Am I reading the css incorrectly? Before the DW problems arose, I had been able to begin the editing I want. How can I examine the css, to find the source of this problem?

Hi everyone, For the last few years I have used templates that were designed to work in Dreamweaver. The company that I bought these templates from has gone out of business. I found another company and downloaded one of their templates today. After researching, I have realized that .lbi files - where you can edit shared files, such as navigation, seem to be exclusive to Dreamweaver specific templates. Can anyone tell me where to go to edit these things since there is no Library folder in this template? I hope this makes sense. I am learning as I go along. I appreciate your help!

Trying to make 2 css changes in this template:I want to delete the first row, and move the logo down to where I've drawn the circle;I am trying to widen content for this website. I want to move the main container farther left, and widen it to push the sider farther right.  I've been playing with the css a looong time, without any success. Hi. In my particular case I need a javascript - but I think this would be appropriate for anyone who may want to attach (or create/insert) a new .css script as well.I'm working with a pre-set bootstrap template and making adjustments to it. In my particular case the Google Maps wasn't working so I removed it and installing a new one. I found a site that gave me one designed just for bootstrap and it gave me the HTML (which I can put anywhere) and the javascript written SEPARATELY. So what I wonder is how create a new box and then "insert" it along the horizontal  "Source Code" line? Here's a pic of the line I'm referring to: I know there is a .css "attach style sheet" located down "Tools" but the Google Map is a javascript (.js)...so in no way can be seen as an "existing .css file". I am getting the following error in 2019, 2020 and 2021 versions of Dreamweaver when starting the application.  I am on a Windows 10 plaform and have never had this issue until Friday.  I was actually in Dreamweaver 2019 working when it hung just trying to open a folder.  Since that time this is the error I get every time I attempt to open the application.  Any help would be greatly apprecatided.   

Hello everyone! trying to complete exercise in Chapter 4 Dreamweaver 2022 by Jim Maivald  (preprocessors). Worked through book diligently and found a couple of my own mistakes that I made when typing! Would like to check my code against what should be correct. Can anybody point me in right direction.May be a good Idea for correct code to be available to public to check when publishing learning material, I know they do this in other books. Using Dreamweaver up-to-date issue on Windows 365.  Luvin' the software that Adobe guy's produce, a lot of hardwork deserves a lot of respect - amazed!! Look forward to hearing from anyone that can point me in the right direction! 

Is anyone else seeing strange behavior of Dreamweaver 2021 in iOS 26?  Strange resizing of the app and it constantly requiring an approval for access.    Is there an update coming soon? 

Often times when I re-open a php document that has emoji characters inside of it, they turn into non-emoji codes. I've set preferences for new document creation to be UTF-8, and for it to apply to opening existing documents - but it hasn't helped. Anyone have a suggestion? 

Hi there, I've just come back to do some work on my "hobby" website after a few months layoff and now when I save a new Dreamweaver file it does not appear ~ as it used to ~ at the top of my local files folder. Despite not showing at the top it has in fact been saved correctly with my recent updates/changes but I now have to scroll down to the specific page file and then upload it. I have reset the Dreamweaver preferences but the issue remains. Apart from this issue all else appears okay. Any advice appreciated. Kind regards, Garry.

Hi, I might be missing something stupidly obvious here but bold text doesn’t work in this file apart from in one place. I have numerous font styles in the file. These two in the examples I can’t get the bold to work. On the Segoe font bold doesn’t work anywhere on the page and the Baskerville front it only works in one place. March 24, 2016 is the date on a tutorial. I guess that says it about DW. I am trying out new software because I am concerned DW is just going to be discontinued vs just not being developed.

Back in about 2006, I developed my current website in Dreamweaver 4 for Windows XP.  From time to time, I need to make relatively minor edits, so I maintain an old Windows 7 laptop running Dreamweaver 4 in Windows XP mode to do so.  Even though it is 20 years old, my website is familiar to users, is still effective, and the look and feel matches all my other branding, so I don't want to redesign the whole thing.  However, if that computer ever dies, I'll be stuck.  I'm wondering whether, if I purchase a subscription to the current Dreamweaver app, I can import my existing webpages and edit them with the same "WYSIWG" (to use an old term) ease as with Dreamweaver 4.  Anybody know?

Will be moving my website over to another web hosting service soon. My new web host company told me to make sure I've made a copy of my site so that when I make the move over to a new company/new server, etc. all my Dreamweaver files and web pages will migrate smoothly and completely. I just want to double-check on how to do this. Any directions on how to do this? A video to recommend that watch? And once I've done this, what is a way to make sure I've done the process correctly? Would hate to inadvertantly sabotage the process of migrating from one company/server to another. 

The site www.airrepaircarolina.com when i type that entire url into a search engine it still doesn't come up. It also doesn't come up when I put the company name in the search area. The code for the index page is below. I'm sure it's something in the meta tags or something I have left out. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. This morning at 04:30 Tokyo time, Adobe Dreamweaver, without my permission, decided to download to award me an upgrade, which competely blocked js linting from working. I just get the message, 'ESLint terminated with error. Max connection attempts reached. I know the problem is with the upgrade because I removed Dreamweaver and downloaded the previous 2021 version and problem is no more. This is a 'heads up' to other users who might encounter the same problem and I'm also wanting to know, how I block the upgrade from downloading.Thanks. Gary

Dreamweaver crashes after I have ad it open a few minutes. Then it stays open. This happens every time. This just started happening. How can this be fixed.

As I am updating the pages on my websites, I am wondering how to ensure that readers are always getting the latest versions of each page. I don't want to force cache clearance all the time, only when the page has been updated. Is this what they call "cache busting"? How do I implement it?  

Once again, I have to waste gobs of time trying to fimd where to disable this aggravating feature.  I'm using the latest version of DreamWeaver for Mac—21.6—and have spent an exorbitant amount of time looking for this item which, in their determination to drive their users crazy, Adobe has cleverly hidden.  Please see the attached image to know what brand of nuisance I'm referring to. Any help woud be appreciated. Thanks.
