I am building a page using bootstrap 4.4.1 that comes with Dreamweaver. However, when previewing the page, it doesn't show the features included (for example, top bar, carousel, etc.). I checked the Output pannel and found that bootstrap css shows several errors associated with the :root {--blue: #007bff... font-family-monospace:}. I tried Safari and Chrome browsers and neither worked. Any suggestions? Sincerely,
When I try to create a new html file, the window doesn't show me anything.I have re-downloaded the program several times and also tried old versions and the problem still existsPlease Help
Par accident j'ai déclenché la fonction "Tableau de mise en forme" ce qui a pour effet de tout bloquer, d'empécher de créer de nouveaux tableaux et de mettre un rectangle vert près de chacun des tableaux du site.Comment faire pour annuler cette fonction ?Merci d'avance.
I recently updated to MacOS Monterey. I don't know if that is the source of the problem, or the Dreamweaver update that came directly after it.I am now getting the error "Linting operation timed out". I'm not sure what that means or how to correct it. I am also unable to upload my files to my web-site. I am getting the error message "index.html cannot be found in the local list." This is all my web-sites. Even ones that I have up/down loaded before with no problem. Any advise would be helpful.🙂
Hi. I figured out how to put text on an image. It is not a background image. When I cut a paragraph in code editor and paste it somewhere else in the page it often screws up the indenting. Is there a simple way to ensure that it copies the full format, i.e. does not adjust the margins.
I used to use Microsoft Edge in the real time preview to view my work. It worked fine. However because I had to work with AJAX and php files, I set up a local host/server (Apache server/localhost:80) and that works well. I now want to return to previewing my work, not through the local host, but Microsoft Edge or Chrome, as orignally done, before I inserted the local host/server.Does anyone know how I can return Dreamweaver's original real-time preview and stop having to use the local server? Also, if you could spare me the time and effort, if I want to return to my local host/server, how do I flip back to that local host/server, after I hopefully am able to preview my work in Edge or Chrome.Thanks, Gary

Hi,Now that Muse has long been discontinued...I have a large image on a website that has several smaller (numbered dots) images on it. I want to have an image map that will open up a small window that I can add text or links to whenever I click or hover over the smaller (numbered dot) image. Like where a user could hover over a number to get more info?Is this possible? I know that an image map can open a new webpage, but can it do a hoverbox or imagebox as well?Thanks!
I have Dw working fine on a Windows 10 machine. Just bought a Windows 11 machine and installed Dw and although Enable Related Files is ticked in Preferences they do not show. Is this something I have not set in Dw or something in Win 11?
I am on Windows 11 using Bootstrap 5. I have a creative cloud subscription, however Dreamweaver 2021 is extremly slow to respond to editing my code and refreshing my changes. I have 2 major websites to update to Bootstrap and 1 other website to work with my backend development team for logic. I am on a time crunch and need this fixed ASAP. I already deleted the "Temp File List" folder in the registery and switched off the adobe pricvacy settings. If I have to use a different HTML editor, then I want a discount on my membership. This is not cool. Is there a 2020 release coming out soon to fix this issue? I believe a previous verion did not track and constantly verify my code with each keystroke. At least, that is what seems to be going on.
I published my html not a new site. But had problems with an image not showing, so I deleted everything and republished from scratch but is not showing at all now. Any ideas?
I am working on a project with local server, and every time during the editing, in code view, I add a word, I change a letter, I correct a link, whatever text editing I do in the code view, the DW is alerting me everytime “Do you want to save the changes?” and I have to always click on OK or Cancel, otherwise I can not continue. That alert is really annoying. Is there a way, under Preferences maybe, to DISABLE this alert, or alert me only if I am going to close the application, or there is not auto-saving option in DW? Is there a way to search an entire folder but exclude a specific sub-folder? Find and Replace inside the theme folder is very useful, and used to be quick. However I have started using webpack, which adds a huge node modules folder into my theme folder. This massively slows down Find and Replace if I search the entire theme folder, so being able to exclude node-modules from the search would be a big time saver.
Hello support ion the last few weeks I am experiencing lagging with Dreamvewer in the subject.During typing or just after saving the cursor stops blinkng and for 3-5 seconds is not possible to anything else. Normally the typed character are writter correctly after the lag. I have a Windows 10 machine, with a mapped network drive pointing a Windows Server 2019 folder. I have been using this configuration for more that 10 year without a problem. I already tried to delete the HKEY_URRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamvewaer 2021 (and 2020) and restart computer.I already tried to delete the Dreamvewaer 2021 (and 2020) folder under Users/<Username>/AppData/Roaming/Adobe and rebooted. I starded the PC without iColud, OneDrive, Trend Microsoft Antivirus and software that may cause problems.I am a software developer so I use ther software like VisualStudio without any problem. I was making my website for hours and then all of a sudden after I saved it and went into web view it went into some sort of strange format/view and it's gone down the left side of my screen and looks nothing like what I've been making it's all spaced weird and smaller
When I insert a table (using the insert menu), it adds a non-breaking space after the table. I know how to manually remove the space, but is there a preference/spec somewhere to prevent it from being put there in the first place?

How do I keep the Background File Activity Window from appearing? It is as annoying as it was for the person in 2016, and although that post is marked answered, that answer is a link that is either out of date or too broad. Does anyone have an answer? I only work with DW locally. Thanks!
I use the 2019 version. A few days ago, whenever I tabbed back into Dreamweaver or did or typed anything inside of it, it would lag and stutter for around 10 seconds.
Since moving to a new computer, old and new OS is Win-10 pro, the overall DW desktop menus area small and overlap, and not the proeperties menu at the bottom is not fully visible. NOt able to enlarge the desktop menus at all. Starting to be frustrating. Any suggestions?
