Hi, might sound like stupid question but I only see horizontal ruler.How do I view vertical ruler? I cannot see anything in menus for rulers at all.Many thanks,Adam

Hello,As a newbie on Dreamwewear, I want to create a page containing an animation made with Animate. When I copy the HTML file of the animation on the newly created HTML page and change the name of the JS file, it works perfectly. However, when .png files are present, it does not work anymore. How can I correct my mistake? Please. (I don't want to do this with an OAM file.)

Bear with me as I'm still newer to HTML. I've been fiddling with this trying to fix it for the past hour and a half but I can't find a solution. I have 3 separate sections at the bottom of my page - 2 columns (pink), a social media bar (blue), and a footer (gray). The pink is centered on the page but the blue and gray are not. They were at one point and the only thing I've changed to the code is just separating the footer from the rest so I could find it easier. 

Hello, I have to redesign a showcase website (simple without menu only links between pages, approx 80 pages) mainly text but I have to recover pages (most of them) which were generated by tools like publisher or others ... ?? (Each page was the subject of a new page) As the new site has a new design (has a header, menu, body and footer) and during navigation only the "content" part would change. How then to integrate these old pages (publisher or others) already generated (in + when I read the generated code ... help !!) to my new presentation ... ?? How to place them in a specific place on the page (in this case in the body)? Is there a tool that can convert the new positions? because I don't want to redo everything by hand. ??, Or should I start from the source files ??? : -0 Thank you so much for your advice !!!

Hi, be-fore it was possible to buy a version of ap-plication for life-time, but now in store we have only monthly and annual sub-scription... I want to know if it's possible in a manner to buy Dream-weaver CC or pre-vious version like CS5, with lifetime license ?Thanks

Hello, I would like to insert and move an image in order to place it in a specific place on my page (I am in WYSIWYG creation mode) but I cannot move it, it remains stuck on the left edge of the page. Is there a solution? Thank you

I go into site set up > advanced setttings > local info and UNCHECK "enable cache" and that speeds things up but when i close dreamweaver and open it again the "enable cache" button is checked. how do i disable cache and have it stick?

Has Adobe lost the ability to authenticate paid subscriptions to Dreamweaver on W7 ?Adobe support failed to fix the problem and says I should downgrade to W10. Which I will NOT do.If Adobe is incapable of fixing their verification problem, what other program will do the job?I have used Dreamweaver since 1997, and would hate to have to switch, but since Adobe fails to fix their verification app, it looks like I don't have a choice. 

  To the powerful minds at Adobe Dreamweaver,   My brother is looking to update his current website with a sales platform that can be within the website walls and not outside on a third party portal. Does Dreamweaver have sales templates that can be modifyed for each product, but that cost lest then using exterior methods? Today I encountered something really strange. I use the latest version of Dreamweaver with Windows 10 and edited a PHP file. I connected my DW site with a GIT repository, maybe this is relevant. I viewed my code (developer view) and tried to copy a single word and paste it to another place. But it did not work. It seemed like copy & paste simply does not work. But then I realized I copied something else to the clipboard, not the selected word. Then I closed the document, which had clean code, and reopened it and it was total chaos. Everything I copy/pasted or just wrote in the last 30 minutes was somewhere in the document, but nothing where it should be or was visible before I closed the document. So maybe for 30 minutes I edited a document which did not exists the way I saw it. I said it could be related to GIT, because by activating/using this, any changes are documented and can be viewed in the code window. Hello, I am new to DW and I would like to keep the same header, menu and footer identical on each page, in fact only the content (body) of the page should change.   Should we copy on each new page (the header, nav, footer, ...) parts !!! : -0 or is there a simpler and faster way on DW directly to be able to do it ??   Rem: I believe there is an include command (but if I understand correctly then I have to use some PHP: - ((which I would like to avoid ..)   thank you so much  

1) i open Dreamweaver app2) i Created a new project3) i saved a project in desktop4) ididn't find the project & also all files in desktop was erase  how can i recover my deleted files from my macOS desktop ? 

I've seen other posts on this but do not see an answer for me yet. I had Dreamweaver CS3 on anothe Windows 10 laptop, just got a new laptop with Windows 10. I instsalled Dreamweaver CS3 from original disk, but serial number not working.    I see no way to "deactivate" the dreamweaver on the original computer. There is no "deactivate" option under the "Help" menu.    Any ideas ? Thanks

Hi I'm used to working on two external monitors on my laptop and I'm setting up a workspace in Dreamweaver to use both external monitors and everything was fine.I recently changed my laptop (and docking station). Suddenly, my workspace doesn't work anymore: I save my workspace using monitors 2 and 3 but when I open Dreamweaver again, all my windows (except one on monitor 2) are scattered across monitor 3.My laptop is a Dell Vostro 5401 (with Nvidia graphic card) with an external USB c D6000 docking with two external monitors connected to the docking. 

Hello professionals, I'm sort of teaching myself responsive web design through w3schools online, using their css file and a sample template, using my phone to test, which has a screen resolution of 360x756 (portrait) and 756x360 (landscape). What I'm trying to do is hide the top navbar (replace with the hamburger icon) in landscape mode, as the list is too long and slips below the business name on the left. How do I do so using media queries? I have not used dreamweaver for some time and installed the new version now, but it will not open, but it is running behind somewhere because i can see it in the task list. I have tried to delete and reinstall but nothing works. I hope someone can help?Thank you Ann 

Has Dreamweaver added ED25519 Key support yet?   Here we are many years later, and everytime I try to connect to my servers with Dreamwaeaver using ED25519 Keys, it never seems to work.   I have been connecting this way fine with many other programs for years now.   It would be nice if Adobe would bring this up to date so it actually works.

A never-before situation occurred this morning that I cannot figure out or correct. Working on a Mac (Big Sur), I store my local files in a "lampp" folder that I've used reliably since mid-may. I'd previously used "xampp." When I opened DW 21.1, none of my files appeared in the list of files. So I checked the "lampp" folder in my Applications folder. As my first screenshot reveals, the folder was empty. I then tried to manage the DW app by selecting the local site folder. Sadly, after browsing for that lampp folder and its files, . . . . . . I got this message.  So I then double-clicked the lampp alias in the Applications folder and got this message. Finally, I did a Spotlight Search for the folder and its files and got this message.I clicked "Fix" but nothing was done.I don’t know what to do to locate the current files! The file names don’t get recognized. (The files in my old XAMPP folder are stale.) I assume that my files that h

I know this is probably an elementary problem, but on this particular webpage that I'm updating, I'm selecting a text block to resize a bit larger, and it seems to look just the way I want it. But after I save the changes and upload the new page, I refresh the Internet webpage and it hasn't changed at all. I even went into a different browser, thinking that perhaps it was cached, but it was the same there. Everything looks changed in DW, but it doesn't change on the Internet. Does anyone have any ideas? FYI, I just create basic pages; I'm not a professional webpage designer by any means.

I purchased dreamweaver less than a year ago but all of a sudden they want me to repurcahse another one. Has any one else experienced this issue. Unfortunately you cant contact adobe directly or customer service for questions. These guys are a reap off. 

I am getting so sick of things not doing what I tell it to. I could just scream! Why dows DW no do what I tell it to do? Why do I keep getting a white gap to the left of my SVG image?   Seriously,what is the point? I have put a border of the same colour - nothing changes, I have expented the width by 10 px (It's a 2,000px image) - & oh look at that, what a shock, nothing changes.   Oh hang on, no wait, that's right, it's not a hock becaue don't aything dare make my life just that little bit easer!      .image_container{ background-image:url("../assets/banners_borders/sludge_bottom.svg"); background-repeat: no-repeat; height: 200px; background-size: cover; width: 100%; }     As you seein the image below, start at the top left corner, you can see a slight indent in the blue & the next thing that doesn;t do what I am blatantely obviously telling it to do, is going to have an axe put throygh it.    Why?!
