This was my mistake, I guess. I was removing a few 2015 editions of CC from a PC workstation in order to install the 2018 editions. I thought I could simply run the cleaner tool to remove everything and start fresh, but I should have read the instructions more closely -- apparently I need to uninstall the apps first before using the cleaner tool. After installing the 2018 editions, I noticed that the 2015 editions were still there, but now Windows does not recognize that the apps are installed on the PC anymore and does not show them on the Uninstall screen. At this point, can I just drag them into the Trash, or does it get dirtier than that. To avoid confusion for the user, I need to remove these so they are not confused by the two versions. Also, I would prefer to not have to "reinstall" 2015 editions over the top of the existing installations and them properly uninstall through Windows. If I can make a suggestion, I wish Adobe would supply a text file version of the directions for the
Myself and my team use Adobe CC in a corporate environment. The cloud functionality has never worked; the software has been reinstalled several times and our IT department has carried out numerous network tests to identify whether there is a port blocked or network filtering, however they have exhausted all options. I've tried using different cloud accounts but to no avail. The Cloud Libraries panel in each app state:'Unable to connect to server' and display the CC cloud icon with an 'x' in said panel. The apps still work fine though (AND I AM LOGGED IN 🙂Adobe Fuse works up until the point it's trying to send to Photoshop cloud libraries and then I get:Upload Error Upload failed with error 0: Unknown error (0)[2018-01-17 14:23:44.345]Interestingly, the Adobe CC Cloud desktop app does work and I can upload files to that and download from another computer no problem.Any ideas, please?[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome]
Just did some test deployments of Adobe DC (not enterprise)Ran the CC package tool.So by default CC is installed.Couple of questions1) CC installed the "Create Cloud Files" folder in C:\Users\%username%\Creative Cloud Files. Dont want this. Also installed the folder in File Explorer. So I uninstalled CC (leaving Adobe DC installed). after install this CC stuff is still there. Any other way then changing the reg setting?Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0E270DAA-1BE6-48F2-AC49-7CB23CA4A992}System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTreeI can script the removal of the Folder from C: and push out a GPO reg change for above. But is all this necessary when using the build Mgr and you just want Adobe DC installed? But assumed you needed Creative Cloud installed to register each users.2) Better deployment path? If so, can I push the .exe via --silent cmd params, and config an XML file somewhere that contains the user info?3) What is best way to control updates? Can I use my internal deployment tool PDQDeploy?

Made a Web Premium CC package including Acrobat but this installation is skipped. What is can see in the PDApp.log is the following:01/12/18 12:28:54:205 | [INFO] | | ASU | DeploymentManager | DeploymentManager | | | 6936 | The Bootstrapper seems to be missing(\\kit.nl\config\Packages\XApp-Adobe-Web-Premium-CC\Adobe Web Premium CC 2017\Build\Setup\APRO18.0\Set-up.dat). Skipping the installation process. It seems like the process that made the CC package botched up the Acrobat part of the package:(I used the Creative Cloud Packager to make the CC package)If i click open the "Adobe Acrobat" folder is see the following:The AcroPRo.msi seems usable to deploy through GPO but i think this msi is missing the license key and custom settings. Is there a way to get the whole CC package to work including Adobe Acrobat?Kind regards,M
Hi,I'm a support engineer at a Uni in the UK and we're having problems whereby a once perfectly working Adobe Acrobat Pro DC installation will randomly deactivate itself and request a username and password despite being previously activated with a VLK. This has happened on quite a few systems around the University and is costing our department a lot to rectify because reinstalling the software doesn't fix the issue, and one of our engineers ended up giving up and erasing and reinstalling the entire device from scratch because he was spending too much time on getting it working which then takes the system entirely out of service for the user for the time we're setting the device back up again.I know that because the PDF format is a standard Adobe is unlikely to care about the cost to their customers for trying to work around problems with their licencing schemes but hopefully there are some sysadmins out there that have a fix we're overlooking. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance,- Lee
We are trying to get mobile apps working with our enterprise subscription. Adobe support can't seem to help me. They have told me it is something I have to do? And I quote "Wish I could help in the matter but have no idea and expertise on it. Usually IT team at customer's side perform it."Anyone any idea how to allow mobile apps?
We are trying to connect our Creative Cloud Asset repository to an AEM Instance. While trying to create the connection we discovered that we cannot get into to complete the setup process. We are not sure of the exact issue, but it appears we have users setup to use Creative Cloud. 2 Companies are trying to test to see if whether AEM cloud can access my companies cloud and vice versa. (1 componaies objective is to be able to exchange assets with the other partner agencies through the Creative cloud interface.)

I am desperately and don't know what to do ....I Hope you can help.Best regards Christian
I have a valid VIP agreement and the dashboard shows that I have 46 licenses that are not in use, however, when I install my new deployment that I just created it does not recognize that I have active licenses to be used with the installation. It now only allows me to use the trial version of the product. Please advise on how to fix this issue. Steps already taken are the licensing deployment, clearing cache and logging in with my adobe ID as well as complete uninstall and re-install of the adobe CC products.
My company has a new serial number for my product and I need to link it to my Adobe ID - I don't see a place to do this on the website.
I setup an AUSST server, had the CC desktop app packaged with update Overrides files, and everything was working OK - internal only deployment from my AUSST server worked for all CC software, including client privileges escalation for local admin rights for any of our users to be able to install any program from the CC desktop launcher. Then the CC desktop launcher updated, a few times now it seems. The client privileges escalation allows the new version to download and install just fine. However - my customers unable to install the newest versions of CC products. I'm trying to download applications in Creative Cloud Packager. I can select the applications that I'd like to create a package for. However, when I click the download button it downloads for about 20 seconds and then goes back to the screen to select applications. There are no error messages. Then when I click download again, it does the same thing.Any ideas?
I am getting ready to purchase a 20-user volume license for Adobe Acrobat Pro. Adobe only sells the 2017 version, but we need the XI version because it is one of the versions authorized for installation on DoD computers. Is there a way to download Acrobat XI Pro and use the volume license key I get when I purchase 2017? We will be using the Adobe deployment installation packager as the target computers are all offline.Thanks.Jim Norman
Hi,I'm having a weird problem where an iphone (or something purporting to be an iphone) keeps picking up a device licence from our portal. I'm getting sick of deactivating it! Is there a way to block this device permanently?Seriously, the admin portal needs work. With our company's rather archaic purchasing system, the first we (in IT) know that an installation has happened is when the computer name shows up in the portal. It's nigh on impossible to find out any information from just a device name - particularly if it is unknown to us!Thanks.
My team is all sharing one library for different graphics. One thing that we are having trouble with is organizing our library. It will let us drop graphics into the library and it automatically goes into a folder labeled 'graphics.' We would like to create different folders within that project with different labels. For instance, under one project we have graphics of planets and we would like to put those planets in one folder labeled 'planets.' Instead, it just goes into the folder labeled 'graphics.' Does this make sense? And does anyone else have this issue?
At first, my installer (deployed on Windows 7 64 bit) was failing and uninstalling when it hit Adobe Dimensions, which requires Win10. I created a new installer without that and it carried on almost to completion. This time the pdapp.log seems to show that Sprk is the problem installer, but I cannot find anywhere to deselect it from the list of programs to bundle in the Creative Cloud packager.Any suggestions?
I decided I would make the new license files with our new keys, but found the creative cloud packager was no longer installed (on Windows 10). So I downloaded the installer and each time I run it I get the same failure dialog and a link to the support forum. No error code unfortunately.I have tried running the file normally and as an administrator. I have cleared away all left over files and removed all registry problems in case something residual was causing the issue, but unfortunately I am still receiving the same error. Has anyone had this before or have any clue how to get it going? Thanks in advance![Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to the deployment forum... What resource requirement can I expect per user on a terminal server? Clearly this will depend on the size of the document being worked on, but in general what sort of overhear per user for memory should I allow for? Thanks
I seemed to have been forced to trial InDesign 2018 before Christmas which I thought would not cause me a problem. Now the trial period has finished, it would appear that InDesign 2017 was effectively uninstalled when 2018 was installed for the trial. I can't see any options in the CC pane to reinstall my paid for 2017 and our IT guy is off until Monday! I have loads of work to do and no InDesign currently. Can anybody advise?Sarah
I purchased a Creative Cloud for Teams.Through the admin panel, I did the Deployment of the devices, downloaded the Creative Cloud Packager and formed the necessary set of applications. After that, I transferred the created package to another computer and started the installation. But there was an error during the installation.I tried to install the package on other computers, anyway, the error gets out.I tried to install the package on other computers, anyway, the error gets out. HelloCurrently trying to update our Adobe content on a university campus and running into a few problems... 1) Ran the Creative Cloud Packager on my iMac in the office as a test drive for the packager and I've selected all the necessary apps I need - I then try and install the programs from the package i've created and it gives up half way through and comes up with the error message "The Installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance"2) On our imac's were previous adobe content has been downloaded we are able to update certain apps like After effects and Photoshop but we are unable to fully update Premiere. The update goes to around 60% and then fails. It says on the creative cloud that the reason it fails is because it is unable to contact the server. 3) We are still experiencing problems on our other iMac's where on trying to open Premiere it is then telling us our licenses have expired. Hello, I need some guidance on how to create a truly offline installer package for the Adobe CC suite. We currently use the CC package creation tool which creates thedeployment package but the devices still try to download DLL files during the installation. Unfortunately these DLL’s get blocked due to the security restrictions our organisation is subject to. So, is there any way to create a truly offline installer package for Adobe CC 2017? Thank you,Joe
