I created an image in illustrator on iPad, then quickexport as PNG to fotos app (they have a transparent background shown as black or white in the photos app)When i import the to fresco, the sometimes have a white background, sometimes a black background and sometimes a transparent background (Wich I would expect). Sometimes it even changes after saving and reloading a project. What is causing these irregularities? and how can I make sure I always get the transparent background?
Seems like no one has been able to produce a fix for fresco crashing constantly. I am on a desktop, with plenty of space. For me, it started as just lagging constantly. I could deal with that. Then, live brush wouldn't work on a lasso'd area. Now, it crashes upon opening a document or within seconds of starting a new document. This is getting ridiculous. I've read through plenty of threads, but I havent found anything that works. HAS ANYONE?! Its crazy to me that the app has been crashing for literal years.
I love Fresco for the ability to easily create Vector and Raster layered art! BUT what is the best workflow to seemlessly take Fresco (RBG) file to InDesign (CMYK) AND preserve the Fresco layers? Here is the flow I'm doing:On iPad, Create file in Fresco saves as .psdc format in the cloud(Be sure to Duplicate the file with a new name because the .psdc file you open in Photoshop will merge all layers into one)!!! On Mac, in Photoshop, open the .psdc Fresco file, Edit, Convert to Profile (CMYK). Save as .psd file (BUT IT is NOT allowing me to save the file with Layers preserved, and it collapses all layers into one. Then it OVERWRITES the .psdc file as well and merges all layers into one! So when I go back to the iPad Fresco app and open the .psdc file then it is just one layer (and all the detailed layers have been collapsed into one layer!) On Mac, in InDesign, in your destination file, File, Place the .psd CMYK file into your layout. IS there
Basically, I've made a layer with a clipped layer on it, but I want the layer which isn't being clipped to be invisible, while the one that's being clipped stays visible within the boundaries of the layer with the invisible layer. Anyone know how to do this?If this sounds confusing (which it probably does) I can add a image, just lmk
After watching Kyle's Getting Started, I have tried to move an imported photo off my working canvas so I can reference it for my work. As I move it off the canvas it resolutely disappears. I have an IPad v9. Am I missing something or is this feature not available on my IPad?
I've installed the app a few days ago. Since the beginning the app shuts down randomly while I am in the middle of some project. For e.g: It shuts down when I try to choose a new brush. I have unistalled and installed and the same problem persist. I thought could be connection but the other apps such After Effects and PS I haven't had the same issue. I have reported when it pops up a window explaining I have issues with the app but nothing is fixed. It is very frustrating.
I recently imported two photoshop crosshatching brushes into fresco. Is there a way I can move them together into another library of brushes that I imported or create a library name to put these brushes into. Right now they are two single brushes. I know I can't delete brushes but I like to have the ability to move them to a separate library. Ballina
I have been waiting for the error correction for more than half a year. at every update I was hoping that it would start now, but it didn't... I sent telemetry, logs, everything I could. I had the support in my machine several times, but they never found anything. Recently, I received a response from the developer team asking me to update the Intel driver. Omg, that's how much the submitted sample is worth.. they might know I'm from amd. It was just a letter... to get a response. I paid unnecessarily for the cloud membership. Now, albeit with a bit of a heavy heart, I say goodbye and move on to affinity, blender, nomad, krita and procreate. I wanted to use fresco because of the interoperability between ios and windows. I bought a lot of expensive photoshop brushes. I wanted to use legal software, I still will, but unless a miracle happens, never again.. Bye
I have recently installed Adobe Creative Cloud on Win 10. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Dimension all work fine. But whe I try to create a new document in Fresco, it looks like this indefinetly. The text reads "Creating new document ..."Any suggestions?
1. is there a setting which stabilises the stroke? for instance it would help if you have shaky hands it as it would make the drawing much smoother as you draw it -- 2. is there a setting which makes the brushes predictive? so for example, if you attempt to draw a perfect circle, it automatically corrects it to a perfect looking circle -- please let me know if doesn't make sense - it's hard to explain! [Renamed by Mod]
I am very new to fresco and I must have accidentally changed a setting because I can't draw anything - either with my Ipencil or my fingers. How do I get my brushed back so they work?
In Fresco there is a circle that appears to be a tool of some sort that automatically pops up in the middle of the page. It appears to make whatever it's over when I click it more transparent/light. I can move it but I cannot get rid of it as far as I can tell. What is this and is there a way to hide the tool?
Hi. I had all my drawings in Adobe Sketch. With the announcement of its demise and the advent of Adobe Fresco it was published that all files would be available in the new app. However, I have lost the large part of my works, available in Sketch until a few days ago. They are not in my user files, nor are they in the storage of is my iPad. I am in despair.
after completing a layer is it possible to edit a shape in the layer. Eg the coulor or size?
**I posted this in the wrong forum, but any replies to help this situation is appreciated!**I recently downloaded Adobe Fresco and after having a few problems signing in due to not being able to have access, I was finally able to get into the app itself and decided to import some of my Adobe Sketch files to Fresco. However, when I chose one of the files to download, I always have this error message popping up: "Something went wrong. Please try again later" after barely having any progress. I tried signing out and re-signing back in, even trying the tutorials before importing my files in, and also re-syncing that same file into Fresco, but no success. I've attached a screenshot of the error. Earlier my cloud had an error that says "You've been disconnected", but I think that's temporarily gone.
Not sure how to do this. How do I move files/folders from Adobe creative cloud files to Adobe creative cloud documents? I can't seem to do this on the web portal, nor the creative cloud desktop app.
Okay... I posted this in another thread and it was marked as spam? I'm here looking for help and am a paying customer. Read my post before marking it as spam please. I will repost then... and if this gets marked as spam I'll contact corporate by phone and file a complaint. Hi there, I've been using the Fresco app on my tablet for about a week. It ran smoothly until today, where whenever I add a new layer and draw something, it freezes and will take 10-15 seconds to unfreeze. It gets worse when I try moving layers. This is not an issue with the device, since when I try to draw and move layers on my desktop computer, I get the same issues. I also took a look at Task Manager to identify what the slowdown might be, and I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that it's a cloud-stored file, and it's not communicating with the Adobe servers fast enough. When the app hangs, I see my Ethernet charts spike in Task Manager. CPU, GPU, Disk and Memory are all fine
Hello, I am currently working on a PC with Wacom tablet without touch. This works great. I did find one issue. I can only use Ctrl + + or - to zoom in. It zooms 1% at a time. This is very, very slow if you are trying to zoom out to see what your work looks like and then zoom back in. Can we get some more zoom controls? What about using [shift] with that combo to zoom 10% at a time? What about hiding down z and then click and dragging like photoshop. This would be great. Keep the functionality the same. Thanks.
I followed the procedure described in this video https://helpx.adobe.com/fresco/how-to/eyedropper-multicolor-swatch.htmlon how to use the eyedropper on multicolor. However, it doesn't work on pixel brushes. It only works on live brushes. The video clearly shows the user using a pixel brush. Can anybody help me?
As Title Says. I was running the older 3.4.2 version of Fresco fine, accidentally updated to 3.6 which now has the above problem. I have tried using an older version, v3.5 but that also has the same problem, Crashing upon Startup at "Loading Document". Having searched online for a fix extensively I can't seem to see any solutions and have exhausted all options when trying to get 3.5 or 3.6 to work. Reading other user problems/posts in this sub, it seems there is NOT a known fix for the above issue aside from using a previous version, BUT the previous version that worked is now no longer available. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that this has created massive problems for (especially as I was literally using this on Friday) as I am now no longer able to complete client work and incredibly frustrated that the working version is now no longer available. Looking for an actual fix/help/somewhere to get v3.4.2 Please note I have already tried
Hey so I drew this picture here, without the sporadic eraser marks everywhere. I, very briefly, tapped around with the highlighted tool on the left, trying to figure out what it was, then suddenly my picture looked like this. Despite the fact that I was working on it for over an hour, my file history shows that the picture wasn't saved, conveniently, until after whatever happened here. Is there any possible way for me to get back my drawing?
1 am having trouble with fresco as my library isn't complete.it has become very frustrating not being able to access my library after the update. The only files that are showing are files I haven't used in years. Cc libraries and creative cloud shows ap when I try to upload a file but my entire library doesn't load at all. Is there any solution to this? I can see my entire library on the creative cloud app mobile and desktop but I can't seem to link it to fresco. Anyone have a solution to this?
This only happens when using mixer brushes. It does not matter if it is a new layer on a started project or the very first brush strokes in a brand new project. I'm am very frustrated and am looking for any suggestions!
Hi I wanted to know if Adobe would support me or send me anything for my students for this new venture I'm thinking of doing. Does anyone know if they do, since it's nearly impossible to figure out how or who to email anything to at Adobe. LOL
End goal: Export a GIF with transparent background and animated white doodle. When I initially went to export the animation from Fresco I realized the options were:- no transparency (basically adds a white background layer to artwork)- white as transparent (white illustration I drew has now dropped out to nothing)I tried to work around this by making the illustration in black and then exporting with transparency (planning to bring into PS and apply a color overlay of white to all layers within a group) BUT the GIF exported from Fresco included a halo of jagged white pixels around the illustration.I was trying to think of a workaround where I could drop the background out in PS quickly (not masking one layer at a time) since using the transparency feature in Fresco's export made the lines quite rough. Not having come up with an automation for that maybe the next best option is the animate in AE and then export from PS as a GIF aka skipping Fresco motion all together? All suggestions welco
