Questions

I have created a Data Set and when batch saving I can only make the files overwrite themselves and end up with only 1 PDF when I should have 19.  I set up a Action to Save and then choose Batch with Source Data Sets, Destination NONE and File Name: Data Set Name.  I am able to togle through each of the 19 items but I am confused as to what I could be doing wrong that the file overrides itself when saving??? 

Hi, I'm new to the Adobe community, and I'm currently using the free 7-day trial to try out some of the programs. However, I've noticed that Illustrator is not supported on my device. I'm reviewing the Illustrator system requirements, but I'm still a little unclear on why not. My processor is Snapdragon(R) X 10-core x1p64100 @ 3.40 GHz, 3417 mhz and I run an ARM-64 based PC on Windows 11. I would appreciate the help. I've heard so many good things about Adobe. 

Can I uninstall, disable, and/or delete all of the Creative Cloud stuff, keeping Illustrator only? All I use is Illustrator - and not much of that. The Creative Cloud stuff seems to only choke of my computer resources and drastically slow my start up every morning. 

Black color outline is a shpe. Is there any tool to convert it into stroke which can run through the middle [red line indicates]? I can try it in a usual way but it is a long way.

Hi, when I apply a drop shadow to an object in Adobe Illustrator, the object's frame reshapes according to the drop shadow. The object's dimensions are distorted. It looks like the object is expanded along with the shadow. But I don't do anything like that. The object's borders don't change when I preview. This happens when I apply the drop shadow. How can I fix this?I used translation. I hope it's understood. Thanks.

I use illustrator for very complicated gis generated maps with huge numbers of vertices and I am looking for the best processor to use with adobe illustrator.  I understand that performance with vector graphics is achieved with a very fast single threaded cpu.  I currently have a i9-10940 but it's not fast enough. I've been onto intel to ask them but they are no use, they have suggested an i9-10900 which does appear a little quicker on the popular benchmarking sites but I want the very fastest processor possible to work with adobe illustrator and complicated 2d documents. Please can anyone suggest something? For instance what do Adobe use on their test machines or development machines, they probably don't hang around? Thanks.p.s. I have M.2's, SSD's, Liquid Cooling, 64gb fast ram, lots of power and all the rest, I just need to know what processor to get.

Hey everyone, I’m completely new to Illustrator and just starting to learn how to use it. I have no design experience and don’t really know what the tools do yet, but I’m trying to recreate this graphic that AI made for me (attached below). It’s a tree with colorful leaves, and instead of regular roots, it has these circuit-looking lines branching downward. I love the concept and thought it’d be a great way to start learning.I have both a MacBook and an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I wasn’t sure if I should try drawing the tree on the iPad or build it from scratch on the Mac. Either way, I want to learn how to do this properly and understand how Illustrator works along the way. I’ve opened Illustrator a few times and tried messing around, but it’s still really overwhelming. If anyone has advice, tutorials, or step-by-step guidance that’s beginner-friendly, I’d really appreciate it. Super excited to learn!Thanks in advance 🙂

How to remove this drop shadow edge? 

In many documents I open, when I recolor the artwork a lot of the time it will show some or all of the white as 0.1% cyan. It takes a little work around to get it to stay 0%. I have to change that 0.1%C to 100%, and then change the other true-white swatch to 100% C as well so they become one color in the recolor dialog. From there, I just change it back to 0% and it stays that way. Is this a common issue, and is there a better solution than my current work-around?

Mac Studio M2 Max, Sequoia 15.5, Illustrator 2025. Text cursor invisible. Only solution is to darken UI and I don't work with the dark screens. I've tried resetting everything in AI and Mac system settings. This makes AI unsuable for my workflow.

Hello Team,up until today, when i select "File" and "New" or  select "New File", i used to have a few options for how i want the new blank page to be created i.e Set pixels, page size, etc... However, now when I attempt to open a new page, it is completely different as shown in the screenshot image. How do i revert back to the having all the options for when i open a new file? 

Hello,What would be the best and quickest way to fill the permiter following the outside of the Die of this file with white. I copied the die and thought I could put a big stroke with white to the Outside but it would only stroke to Center.Any Ideas or solutions would be appreciated. Thank You

I swear it didn't use to work like this but when I have snap to grid on and I try to drag to select points and edges, instead my pointer auto selects random stuff and drags it. How do I turn off this wonderful feature?!

Uso illustrator há muitos anos. Muito raramente o illustrator fechou inesperadamente ao longo do tempo, mas agora desde as recentes atualizações tem sido constante. Eu raramente me preocupava em guardar os ficheiros durante trabalhos e agora estou sempre com medo que a qualquer momento ele feche. (por norma felizmente quando abro o programa novamente ele recupera muito bem o trabalho como se o tivesse guardado literalmente antes de falhar).Não encontro relatos de outras pessoas com o mesmo problema. Estou sozinho? Já desinstalei os programas todos e voltei a instalar. A dada altura percebi que nem tinha a app Creative Cloud instalada (não sei bem como).Atualizei o meu macbook há cerca de 3 ou 4 meses para o M4 Max, acredito que não esteja relacionado.Tentei ajuda pelo suporte da Adobe, mas parece que o caminho que dão é sempre de vir aqui à comunidade.

Hello!  I'm not sure if this is even possible or if there's a way to create something like this but is it possible to create multiple artboards in an illustrator document at a variety of different sizes perhaps from a built-in illustrator tool or a script using a CSV file? similar to how you import variable data but using width and height data from an excel document to tell Illustrator the size to make the new artboard/artboards.  I have little knowledge of how to script but if there is a way I could create one any help would be greatly appreciated.  I hope I've worded the question okay. When I scroll while having Illustrator set to GPU mode, my program freezes for a few seconds, and I can hear my computer's fans spin up faster. The program works fine when I switch to CPU with Ctrl + E. This is on every project. My PC:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 TiIntel i5 13600K32GB DDR5 RamZ790 UD AC Motherboard

Hi guys, I have been using a dual-screen setup for some time, with Adobe Illustrator as my primary software. I have a 13″ MacBook Pro which, as most would agree, is not the most accommodating size for graphic design. To improve usability, I use a 43″ LG IPS display at my office, which provides an excellent working environment. However, when working from home, I am limited to the MacBook’s 13″ screen. While the reduction in screen size is challenging enough, a more persistent issue is the disorganisation of my Illustrator panels and windows. They often scatter across the screen, requiring manual repositioning. On occasion, they disappear entirely off-screen, making them difficult or impossible to retrieve, though this only happens rarely. My question is: is there a reliable way to manage or automatically restore panel layouts when switching between different screen setups? Hi, I want to manually warp text (such as stretching, etc.) in Illustrator. It used to let me do it the normal way, but now I can only do it by typing in the numbers for sizing. Does anyone have an idea why or how I can fix this?

Sólo para que tengan en cuenta les cuento que si pierden o roban la tarjeta la suscripción no se cae, se les va a seguir cobrando todo lo que tengan suscripto por más que la tarjeta ya no esté vigente. Por lo tanto, no es confiable guiarse con los datos de facturación que la cuenta de Adobe te muestra. Ojo con esto, porque no es transparente la información que muestra adobe en la cuenta. Esto funciona como débito automático por más que desde Adobe te afirme que es una suscripción, las suscripciones se caen cuando las tarjetas no están activadas (por el motivo que sea, en mi caso fue porque la denuncié), los débitos automáticos se renuevan cuando hay cambio del plástico de la tarjeta. En mi caso fue una mala experiencia ya que se me debitaron un montón de meses, sin tener la tarjeta activa, hasta que detecté el corbro y me contacté (claramente ya no estaba haciendo uso de los servicios de adobe). ¡Saludos!
