ich habe ein Problem beim Exportieren von PNG-Dateien aus Adobe Illustrator, bei dem ich Variablen verwende. Ich habe ein einzelnes Artboard mit drei Variablen (Variable 1, Variable 2, Variable 3), die durch eine CSV-Datei befüllt werden, die 20 Datensätze enthält. Ich möchte eine Aktion erstellen, die jeden Datensatz als PNG-Datei exportiert, wobei jede Datei genau 1080 x 1080 Pixel groß sein soll. Allerdings werden beim Exportieren mit einer aufgezeichneten Aktion und der Batch-Verarbeitung die Dateien immer wieder überschrieben, anstatt dass neue Dateien mit einzigartigen Namen erstellt werden. Ich benötige eine Möglichkeit, dynamische Dateinamen für jeden Export zu generieren, damit keine Dateien überschrieben werden. Ich habe bereits versucht, Aktionen aufzuzeichnen und die Batch-Verarbeitung zu verwenden, aber ich komme nicht voran. Vielleicht kann jemand mir helfen, dieses Problem zu lösen, möglicherweise durch Skripte oder andere Workarounds?

I just upgraded to Illustrator 2018 using Windows 7 and seem to be having an issue where hitting the space bar between words is not registering. I'm not sure if this is a setting that was changed during upgrade, or if it's a glitch. Sometimes the space will register and then the text will revert to no spaces between words, other times it does not show up on screen at all upon hitting space bar. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,When looping over layers, what is the best way to:1. Get the "active" layer?2. Set a new layer as active?Also, is there an easy way to get the index of the app.activeDocument.activeLayer when not looping over layers? In other words, can I determine the activeLayer's index without using a loop to find it?Thanks!

I've had a little trouble exporting a layer as it is as a PNG. I've tried "Export As" and "Save for Web" options. I just want the "5K" and the rectangle shapes exported. When I deselect the green background layer and "Export As," it says the document is empty. When I tried to "Export As" with the background, it gave me an unknown error. When I tried the "Save for Web" option, I can see that the "5K" graphic isn't there.Would the two transparent masks I have on the "5K" and rectangles be an issue? I used it to make the distress effect. I welcome all suggestions. I had exported the other layers by themselves, no problem. They also had transparent masks. I don't know what else I'm doing differently with this one.

Hoping to get an answer to this, I've been asked to convert some normalised pdf files into Illustrator files but when I open the converted files all of the Layer information disappears. This information is integral to the files so we need to maintain this information into illustrator.Is there a way to do this? (I've tried .ps .eps and pdf)Thanks for any helpAli

I'm working in Illustrator 29.4. I have multiple artboards at different sizes. I have selected "snap to pixel" and align artwork to pixel, but when I export, it adds a pixel to one of the dimensions, and the publication I'm submitting them to is rejecting them. Why have these options if they are then ignored at export? I have to open them in Photoshop and adjust size there. PLEASE HELP!

Places images, and text boxes are simply not scaling proportionally even tho I am pressing theshift key as  I usually would.I de- installed and re-installed Photoshop 26.5 thinking the error message I was getting had somethin to do with this - but nothing was solved. I've tried re setting my preferences.De-installing and re-installing Illusrator and nothing. Does anyone know why this could be happening? 

Hello, I'm working as a designer in an institution that produces personalized products. I constantly use photoshop and illustrator.  Sometimes we need to put photos of our customers into the designs we create in illustrator, and these photos need to be edited in photoshop. After I put the photo into Illustrator, the "Edit In Photoshop" button, which I always use, gives an error saying "Cannot find associated application".  I searched the forums for the solution many times but I can't find.I tried other people's solutions, I write what I tried below; Uninstall Photoshop and reinstall (Older versions and newer versions include Betas)Uninstall Illustrator and reinstall (same as Photoshop)Reset preferences in Illustrator and PhotoshopSearch error message in Google (No one has shared anything about this)Search error message box in Google Photos (No one has shared anything about this)Search YouTube solutions (no solution) By the way, it works fine on the company comp

facing lags in issue

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing an ongoing issue with Adobe Fonts in Illustrator that seems to happen randomly and inconsistently. Here's what's going on:Some fonts from Adobe Fonts (e.g., Inter Light) don't synchronize properly, even though the Creative Cloud app says they are downloaded and active.When I open a file that uses those fonts, they are sometimes replaced by a fallback font, even though the font was working just fine earlier in the same session.This issue is not constant — for example, yesterday I was working in Illustrator for about 2–3 hours without any problems. Then suddenly, when I tried to change text to a font I had already been using, Illustrator gave me a warning that the font doesn't exist and asked if I want to continue editing the layer.Creative Cloud shows that the font is active and synced, but it doesn't appear in Illustrator's font list — and the text using that font gets substituted.This behavior is very disruptive, especially when working on layout-heavy pro

Adobe Illustrator will not load, libraries will not sync, Illustrator will not save as. The entire creative cloud has been uninstalled, reinstalled (twice), same issue persists. I used the CCLibrary.dmg reset app/patch which didn;t work. The MacOS is updated to the latest version / patch level. VPN and firewalls disabled. Nothing works. Adobe Chat Agent support just says we will transfer you to technical support then they just disconnect you and nothing (this occuired 5 times). AI Chatbot support does not recognise that Illustrator is not Lightroom and just goes into an endless pointless loop with the annoying reponse "Sorry I'm just learning" then it gives you the helpful option to ask about billing or cancel your account. I wasted two hours on this yesterday. Now Illistrator is completely non-functional. In depsperation I'm asking the community crowd source support since Adobe does not seem intrested in providing paying customers with actuall pratical support options.

Subject says it all. Looking for a way to simply reset dimensions of a linked or embedded file in Illustrator. Prefebly using an action or script so it can be "one-touch". 

After a recent update, Illustrator is missing all tools/toolbars/panels except the main menu toolbar (file, edit, etc.), doesn't save my workspaces (it sees that I have saved past ones), lost my previous workspaces and won't activate any of the built in workspaces. Since this update, I have had to manually turn on the toolbars, windows and tools I want to access every time I open Illustrator. This is super frustrating and a gigantic waste of my time. I haven't been able to find any exact questions that have the same issue as me but I have seen other issues with workspaces. I am using Illustrator CC, version 23.01 on Windows 10. I believe that this started after the v23 update.So far I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no help. Anyone else with this issue able to resolve it?

Hi, I have a problem which is probably more of an one drvie problem than illustrators but maybe someone had a similar experiance and knows how to fix it.I shared a file on my companys cloud on share point and every one is using one drvie to sync the files. The script I made for my coworkers works fine on my Macbook but others are not able to use it. I tried changing the permisions but still nothing. `Does any one have an idea on how to fix that?

I have a PrePress user that is using illustrator 29.0 with Esko AE 24.11. Esko Studio has also been upgraded to 24.11. My user will attempt to import an .ard file from a folder in their User Name and gets the error 'The File "12742_03a.ard" Is In A Format Which Cannot Be Placed.' He can then take that same file and copy it to the Shared Folder and import it into Illustrator without issue. It clearly isn't a format issue, I'm thinking it has to do with Permissions of what can be Read/Write by users. Does anyone have experience with this issue?

When I open illustrator on my Cintiq 24HD submenus in illustrator display in a tiny font. Or, perhaps more accurately, fonts in the submenus are of wildly varying sizes. This has been happening forever (at least 4 years)  and I've seen questions about it repeatedly on these forums and elsewhere, but despite following all advice to adjust windows scaling settings or iIlustrator's own scaling settings, I have never been able to fix it. Its frustrating. So, in the hope that soemone might have a magic fix, I'm asking the question again; How come the menu's have different font sizes? And how do I fix it?

Large number of people I work with noticed snap to pixel stopped working after Illustrator v 28.7.5... I don't want any help. I just thought people should know. Thanks! 

Whenever I save my file in Adobe Illustrator, a dialog box with metadata information (such as file path, fonts, colors, and user details) automatically appears on my artboard as text. How can I stop this from happening?

The issue I'm facing is: Illustator is taking about 1 minute to open a file. No matter if the file is big or short. Using the latest Version 24.9. I didn't face it at previous version.
