Hello, I am trying to recreate this logo (the circle bit) but I am not sure how to do it. I have tried with a dashed line but I cant then change the colour of the lower left third. What would be the best way to do this, Thanks Josh= 

When I make several Views (View menu) into Illustrator (29.2.1) on my iMac (Sequoia 15.3) my document (16Mb) crashes and the views I made are gone.How can I solve this problem?Is this a known bug?

I made an Illustrator file and embedded it in an InDesign file. The InDesign file looks fine - the Illustrator file (which is saved as a .pdf) appears as my latest saved version and there are no errors or updates associated with it in the Links panel.However, when I open the source file in Illustrator, it looks like a version from a few hours earlier. It does not match the embedded file I'm seeing in InDesign. At least I have a visual copy and can redo the work to match. But what happened to my latest version? And how am I seeing it in InDesign?

i did some mockup designs 2 days before and my pc crashed and they didnt save.I opened my pc and they didnt recover so i closed my pc because i was frustrated. i just saw that i can recover them throuugh the files but i did the steps and it didnt work. is there somehow to recover my files??

Every time I use Live Paint, I get a greyed out screen and Not Responding.  It will clear up after a minute or two, but if I click on something else, even just Edit tab, it does it again.  The live paint tool works, but it slows down my whole computer, even when I try to move on to another part of a design. This happens with every new document.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  I am still fairly new to Illustrator, so maybe I am doing something wrong.   [Moved from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to a better forum... Hi zusammen, ich habe in Illustrator ein Muster erstellt (siehe Foto). Allerdings bräuchte ich dort immer diesselben Abstände zwischen den Objekten. Gibt es ein Tool mit dem ich das einstellen kann? 

I've looked everywhere for an answer to this, but I'm trying to map art onto a tapered coffee thermos. Every answer I've seen uses a straight object without curves, which, smart. That would save me a lot of hastle, but this is the bed I've made and I need to figure out how to map something to it.The line at the bottom and the top of the image should follow the curve of the thermos. Instead the image is curved like it's a square sticker being applied to a round shape (which it is, I get that).Is there a way to pre warp an image to correctly map top a 3D surface?

I tried to render my 3D object into vector and some how there are white spots appear all over the place.I used the newest video card dirver and the newest version of illustrator.I tried to turn on and off the ray tracing and noise reducing, nothing changes.Nvidia RTX 4070 super with Studio drive 572.16. illustrator 29.3  

Good morning, I have a problem exporting my file to CMYK PDF, which is intended for printing.The colors in Illustrator are very vivid and when exported they are bland. Have you ever had the same problem ? Do you have a solution ? THANKS !

Hi. I'm working on an Illustrator file in CS5. Suddenly when using the Direct Selection Tool - anchor points and handles are not visible regardless if selected or not. They're just not appearing. They DO exist though. When I click-drag to select an area where I know there is an anchor point and then I use the arrow keys to move the anchor point - I see the path change. But I don't see the anchor point that I am moving. This is all occuring only on a particular file. When I open a new .as file and try to duplicate the problem - all works fine. Any ideas why this is suddenly happening? I assume I accidently hit some thing to change a setting but I can't figure out what. I've checked Selection & Anchor Display in the Preferences, but can't find anything different there when comparing it to a file where everything is working normally.   Thanks

I am a complete newbie. I just got Illustrator with the intention of creating a vector image. I am desperate to use an image I already have, or its likeness, and bought a conversion app to turn it to svg. I presented it to our graphics team and they said when one utilizes a conversion, it can have print issues and that the only acceptable way was if i created the image using shapes. I am completely lost, but hopeful. Could someone please help?

Hi!Could you please advise me if anyone has encountered this problem..... absolutely everything in the Properties window is missing. I have reinstalled Illustrator and torn down all the settings along with it, and reloaded via Alt+Shift+Ctrl, and removed, added a panel to the screen, and changed the type of workpace, nothing helped....

My plugin needs to create a temporary path by creating an Action for Adobe's Offset Path. That creates an extra "Offset Path" item in the Undo History that I don't want, and sAIUndo->SetSilent(true) doesn't work in this case. Is there a way to test if the last Undo entry was "Offset Path" and delete it if so?

Greetings, I tried multiple times and I could not save a file when I had a EPS linked. The result was a damaged Illustrator file. It did not matter if I was opening a existing 29.2 file or starting a new file, the result was a coreupted file.I tried using other EPS links to make sure the linked file was not the cause, each attempt failed. I had to revert back to 29.2.1 to continue working. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thank you.

Love the feature that you finally can rotate the view in Illustrator. However – after rotating the view, for example 90 degrees, the arrow keys are not adjusted to fit this particular view. When I hit the up arrow key, things move to the right instead and so on. Same with ruler guides, try to make a horizontal guide and it makes a vertical one. The arrow keys thing is the worst though. Am I the only one thinking this is hopeless? When rotating the view in Indesign this is not a problem.

A quase um mês a ferramenta mover não vem realizando o trabalho de mover, ela se comporta como a ferramenta seleção direta, a unica solução duas semanas atras foi desinstalar e instalar novamente o ilustrator, porem essa semana novamente axonteceu, realizei a desinstalação, funcionou mas ontem voltou o problema, já nao sei oque fazer, alguem ?

after esporting images in 300ppi JPG and working with it in the 3rd app for email campaign images turn out very blurry. On teh other hand same preferrences and images last year were sharp clear. Have no idea what has happened and what might cause such an issue. 

I'm looking and looking for a solution to have variable printing ignore a blank cell in my file.  I've tried adding a space into the cell, as well as every combination of " ", ' ', " [space] –– no luck.  I am now reading that you shouldn't have blank cells but is there truly no workaround? To create the csv I'm working in Google Sheets if that matters – I've also edited the file using text editor so I don't believe it should.

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble saving my artboards as separate ai files. I watched a tutorial on it but when I tried it myself, my Save As window grays out the "Use Artboards" checkbox. It only ungrays for eps or svg files. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
