Im sure this is an easy fix.  I am completly new to Adobe and desigining.  I created a file that has some white colored text.  When I submit it to my print shop to have DTF prints made my white text is not showing up.  Just empty space.  Any help>?

Hi,I've got this one specific Illustrator file, of which my artboards disappear every time I open it.The contents of the artboards are still there, all boards except one just disappear. Even if I make new artboards around the content, they will be gone the next time I open the file.Any way to fix this?  

Hello - Apparently,there is a Javescript "menu comand" to HIDDEN the artboards, but what about to SHOW the artboards? Since also apparently the menu command "app.executeMenuCommand("artboard");" seems to hidden the artboards.  Thank you,   - Dimitri 

Here is a stroke with variable width profile 4. When I expand the stroke, Illustrator produces a whole bunch of unnecessary points. Why isn't Illustrator capable of producing a lesser amount of points? Is it a bug? I would understand the amount of points if the stroke had rough edges, but this is a predefined variable width profile. Are there any settings where I can change this? I can't remember this being an issue before.

I've just switched to Illustrator CC 2019 from CS5 on MAC and I think I've found a weird bug.When I add or duplicate an artboard it always skips number 5, has duplicates of number 7 then continues along normally (at least up to number 20 for this experiment).  Is there a way to fix this?The attached image is from a new document that I created and just added 20 total artboards.  I typically only work with 5 to 6 artboards, so the skipping of number 5 and duplicate of number 7 is very annoying.  I've tried quitting/restarting, rebooting the system, multiple new documents, multiple existing documents created with CS5.  All have the same result.Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Hallo Experten, ich versuche verzweifelt ein 3d Tortendiagramm zu erstellen, wo die einzelnen Abschnitte unterschiedliche Höhen haben. Eine Höhe für alle Segmente kein Problem Wenn man ein einzelnes Segment aktiviert und auf Tiefe der extrusion geht, tut sich nichts.Wie kann ich das Problem lösen?Dringend, geht um Vergabeaufgabe. hello!I have a question as in the subject, is it possible to create a script that will be able to distinguish two objects, or groups of objects, if one is turned 180 degrees relative to the other?In the case of objects different from each other there is no problem, it checks its dimension and when they are different the script knows that they are different objects, but I have a problem in the case when the objects are the same size, but are turned 180 degrees, their size is the same.Does anyone know how to do this? I even tried to ask openAI, it seemed to write something but in none of the cases was the script able to distinguish thismatrix does not worksorry for my English, it is basicplease help

I've always found it odd that you can't simply update your current custom workspace, surely this would be a simple feature to implement by adding a new item at the bottom of the workspace dropdown menu? 

So while working on Ai it closes  Randomly i did not find any specific tools which can cause it. i also cannot get the log files.my config just in case: Intel core i5-1235U16 GB ( Dual Channel )  Ram 2777 Bus Speedintel Iries  XE GPU there is no eGPU or Dedcaited, as far as i remeber i did worked on intels iGPU without any issues. please help me fix this because this is causeing time gaps and work losts.  Thanks  Regards, Ornob

I'm working on a project with multiple citations/references, and when I copy-paste the text from Google Docs into Illustrator, the superscript and subscript formats don't work, so I had to manually change those back. Is there a way to preserve the superscript and subscript formats when copy-pasting into Illustrator? Thanks!

I'm using a Dell with Windows 10, 2.9 GHz processer, 64 GB of RAM, and plenty of spare disk space.  I finally upgraded to Illustrator 2020 and when I start the computer, open Illustrator, the computer will shutdown within ten minutes.  Does matter if I'm editing a .ai file for not.  This happens in a minute or two I have other programs open (Chrome, Word, etc).  Task Manger starts to Memory and Disk go to almost 100% before shutdown.  My system meets the spec requirements.  Any ideas?     {Renamed by MOD}

I've recently purchased a plan for adobe softwares. So I'm trying to install the Illustrator.As it was mentioned in the Illustrator system requirements the currently supporting windows OS version is Windows 11 v22H2 and v21H2, Windows 10 v22H2 and v21H2.However, the version I'm using is Windows 11 Version 23H2.When I'm visiting the download page, I'm getting a message saying, "Update required | If you would like to install Illustrator, you must update your system."I mean isn't the software, the one that's outdated?If yes, I don't think I can downgrade my windows, just for installing it.How do I get it installed in my PC now?

I was working with some images copied form my desktop when I decided to close Illustrator, a minute later I decided to opet in again to change some things and BOOM, I couldnt move any items in Illustrator using the mouse, I can only move them using the arrow keys. Even if I open up a new document and place in a new object, I cannot open it, so it is not a problem specific to my file. None of my objects are locked. I do not have any hidden dialouges. I've already tried restarting Illustrator, resetting my preferences, etc. I could move things before but now It just decided that It doesnt wanna let me do that, Windows error sound can be heard in the background but nothing else is showing up. 

I am using ExtendScript as part of a cross-platform application such as Tauri or Electron. Is it possible to save swatches that can be opened up for use in any Illustrator file

I recently updated to Illustrator 2025 and since doing so, when I go to extend a line by dragging an anchor, it is no longer snapping to the "Line Extension". I have verified that the correct preferences are checked under Preferences> Smart Guides> Anchor/ Path Labels.  Any help on this would be great thanks!

Hello! So I work for a sports apparel design company and we we are trying to find out is if there is a way we can essentially take an art design/template in illustrator, and then reproduce that same same template for a number of different college and professional teams without having to manually change the template for each team? We would have a database of all different forms of verbiage and pms colors  relating to the schools and teams and would like illustrator to be able to take that information and then input it in the template and then export an AI file for each team. Any help is appreciated and let me know if you need more information or if I am making sense! 

The objects in the GIF are all based on simple rectangles, there are no stray anchor points or overlapping anchor points. When I select them individually, I can round the corners, even with smaller groups of shapes I can see the corner widget. But as soon as I select a larger group the widget disappears and I can't round the corners anymore. I already tried:- Different zoom factors- setting the anchor point size to max- showing corner widget is activated in View aswell Not sure how to fix this.
