Hey Community,After multiple hours of attempts, I struggle to get access to an illustrator project.I tried to load it in Illustrator, it fails. I tried to access it via the cloud version of Illustrator, it fails. I tried to download from cloud document, it either fails, or manage to download a 0kb file. Sometimes I get 'download failed', or 'export failed' errors.I trieds both on Mac and Windows, in different browsers, CC app and Illustrators. Help ;(

Not sure how or why, but my Transform Properties panel for shapes is now showing inches, even after setting all Units in Preferences to pixels.  If I right click on the three dots , re-shaping a shape shows in pixels?  Adobe Illustrator 28.1Apple iMac 12.7.2  

why is it simply not working?

Dear Adobe Support Team and community, I am writing to report an issue I have encountered with Adobe Illustrator version 28.7.1 (64-bit). When attempting to save a file, a black screen appears, preventing me from proceeding with the save operation. This issue has persisted since updating to this version.I have attached a screenshot of the error for your reference. "In Adobe Illustrator's Image Trace panel, there is a preset called 3 Colors. My question is, when we trace an image using this preset, which three colors will be used for the tracing? Are the colors based on the dominant pixels in the image, or is there another method of selection? Please provide guidance on this query."

When I choose the Type Box tool, and click in the document to create a Type Box or simply place text, as soon as the box is created, it fills with X's/squares and goes off on it's own continually typing the X/square. I've tried changing font, but it always defaults back to Myriad pro as it's typing. Tried fiddling with some preferences, tried shutting the program and restarting - not sure what to do. Please help! 

Hello, I am trying to print a large image in segments, so I have selected "Do Not Scale." The preview window on shows only a portion of what should be visible (picture below).  I have tried this on two different printers, and also as a pdf: always the same thing. If I try to print it as "Fit to Page" the entire image is visible. I haven't yet figured out a way to pirnt that way and manually scale it up, or I would... 

I give up-it was once easy in Illustrator to compose lines of type such that they could be centered along a vertical centerline. How do I do that now?

Hi everyone, I’ve just created a design for my website pragma123* using Adobe Illustrator, and I’d love some feedback. The design incorporates both vector graphics and text elements, and I’m particularly concerned about how it will scale across different screen sizes. What’s the best way to ensure my Illustrator design maintains high quality and responsiveness when exported for web use? Any tips on optimizing it for both desktop and mobile would be greatly appreciated!"

See attached. Our engineers want the six triangles (3 down, 3 across) to follow the bend of the overall product, like the small circles do. I've tried skewing, envelope warping (art and top object--a duplicate of the grey product), and puppet warp, but even though I used Pathfinder to Unite first, I can't seem to find a way to make the entire object follow the curve WITHOUT distorting the individual triangles themselves. Any ideas? I thought their original request was to replace EACH small circle with a small triangle and said sure--now I find they want these six big triangles instead...

Hi, I have been experiencing issues when opening .ai files. I think the problems started after the last update. I get a message saying 'Illustrator could partially read this file'. When the file opens I only see one artboard with the content broken apart, similar to what you would see if you opened a .pdf in Illustrator. I have tried installing a previous version and then going back to the latest version but it does not correct the problem. I have copied files to my hard drive and tried to place files into a new file but nothing gets me back my full file. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the file as I have just installed a trial version of Affinity Designer and my .ai files open without any issues. I really need to find a solution otherwwise I will probably have to go with Affinity Designer to open my files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi , I encountered a strange issue and would like your help.I designed a text in Illustrator and then rotated it by 90°. I exported it as a PSD file. When I open it in Photoshop, the style appearscorrectly, but the rotation angle is missing.I used code to extract the JSON data from the PSD, and the transform for the text is {"xx": 4.166666666666667, "xy": 0.0, "yx": 0.0, "yy": 4.166666666666667, "tx": -32781.50000000001, "ty": -34487.0}, which also does not include the rotation angle. I am not sure if this is a bug.Could you please explain what data Photoshop uses to determine that the text is rotated by 90° and how it correctly displays it?Open In Photoshop:I wrote code to display this text. but it is wrong, because I can't extract an angle.

I am trying to export a pattern to Spoonflower.  I can save as a 150 DPI as they request, in the size they want 4050 px by 2700 px.  However, once I save as/export selection/export as the DPI will either remain 150 but the px size jumps to 8000 by 5000 and no longer fits the fabric OR it stays properly sized but the DPI drops to 72.  I cannot get both to happen when I save although the pattern was created at 150 DPI and 4050 px by 2700 px.  WTF?

I searched the web but did not finding the solution. I make a text box & want to dynamically hold texts within it. It uses a fixed font size of 50 but if there are more texts then font size will be reduced to fit all texts within the textbox. Any solution will be highly appreciated

Hi all, I can't open file from a network folder from my computer with illustrator. I get this message: file not found I was able to open the same file from illustrator by "file" then "open" and go to the network folder. I tried to reinstall, same issue, i installed an older version of illustrator, since this installation i can't even open file with "file" then "open". I have not this issue with photoshop or adobe reader pro. I'm on a domain network inside my company. Did someone get this issue and succeed to fix it? Thanks   [Renamed by Mod]

Hello, I'm working on a logo where I need a transparent knockout path around some text. When I created the white-on-transparent version, it works fine (I put a blue background so you can see it):When I do the exact  same thing on the color version of the logo, the transparent knockout isn't there:What am I missing on this color version? 

 How to create this effect in Illustrator? Or any other tool?

I can no longer trace. The Black & White option has disappeared. Have tried others but this happens (see attached). Thanks in advance!

Hello, everyone!Is there a way to scale or enlarge an area text? You know that if you try to scale it, only the text box is scaled. I need to know if there's a script or a way to proportionally scale the text box along with the text inside it, as if it were point text.

Hi everyone, I've recently installed Illustrator along with other apps on my new windows machine. Every thing was working fine. Then I updated Photoshop and Illustrator and my spacebar hand tool stoped working on "all adobe applications". I've tried my best to find solution online and have tried every available solution already. I am not new to Adobe applications so I thought I could figure something out but failed. The situation is, when I press the spacebar from my keyboard, I can see the handtool and it move when I move the mouse but my artboard is not moving. One thing I've noticed is when I press the spacebar, the object I've selected in illustrator activate the  nodes which we only see when we select "direct selection" tool from the toolbar.  Please see attached pictures. 

Tool cursors of selection arrows, type, magnify, etc- flick on and off like it is "nervous." I usually try to ignore it but it's very distracting and interferring and now it's getting on my nerves. The old illustrators were stable and precise. Also, I can't select an anchor point if it is near another that's in front even though it acknowledges the click. And why are the guides solid lines in the outline view?  v27.6.1

I want to make the text "CHAMPIONS" with the effect same this image but I can't adjust the shadow of 3D effect. How to do it?I just can create a 3D text like this image and don't know what is next? Please help me to solve this problem! Many thanks!
