HiI have LTC Goudy Oldstyle Pro font from Adobe fontsand want to have effect like this?Is it possible to do this in "easy" way? 

Illustrator uses the 0,0 point to indicate the upper left part of the artboard or graphic. I'd like to move the 0,0 point to the bottom left of the artboard or graphic where the positive numbers go up instead of down. If I want to move an object up vertically 2 cm, I have to use -2 cm. I'd like the option to choose if I want my vertical axes to move in the positive or negative direction once move my origin point. In the older versions of Illustrator the positive direction was up. It would be nice to have the option to choose up or down.

Hi,I use illustrator for floor plan graphics. Besides scaling and doing the math myself I dont see any way I can set my draings to a specific scale and still have original demetions (feet, Inches) of lines in illustrator without having to do the math.

Our manufacturing facility in China uses a Han’s Laser marking machine to etch logo & labeling on the plastic housings of our product. We have tried sending pdf files created in Adobe Illustrator (2023) but it will not print correctly (particularly filled areas and sometimes adds a gap in the middle of a word). The laser machine owner's manual says pdf's are an acceptable filetype. Can you provide suggestions for making our AI artwork usable on the Han’s Laser machine? Thank you !

In illustrator the pattern I have turns into a stripe of the same color as the pattern every time I zoom out. It seems just to be a preview issue, for example if I export the file the pattern looks fine and if I zoom in enough it turns back to the actual pattern. In the swatch box I can also still see the pattern looking normal. Sometimes the pattern will look the way it should but I'll move around in the file and it'll turn into a stripe all of the sudden. I've tried it on different file sizes, restarting AI, saving a different file etc and it happened everytime. It seems fine with other pattern swatches. I make patterns all the time and this is the first time this issue has happened. Is there a way to fix this? Any help with be great, thank you!

Bonjour,lorsque je dessine une forme, un rectangle par exemple, avec l'outil rectangle, une multitude de rectangles viennent s'ajouter dans ma forme en suivant le mouvement de ma souris, et ce jusqu’au lâcher de ma souris ; je ne sais pas comment me débarrasser de cette fonction. I cannot figure out the correct lingo to search for a solution to my problem. I've created a very simple shape in Illustrator with a simple hole knocked out of it. When I place a material on it you can see a visible glitch between the hole and the edge of the model. It's even more pronounced when I try to place a decal on that exported model in Dimension. Using Generative AI, how do you draw the same cartoon characters in different positions/scenes?

Hi everyone! I would like to make my text "CREAT" take the shape of the map (screenshot attached). I uploaded the map as an image and then vectorized and exapanded it. Upon trying to envelope distort with the top object (I've tried both orders in the layers), the message pops up that "This requires a selection of multiple objects. The top object must be a single path or mesh, or a symbol containing a single path or mesh." I guess my question is if there is any way to convert the vector image into a single path, mesh, or symbol or some other way to make the text take the shape of the map? Thank you so much!

Hello,I use the guides (the lines to help you align stuff) and I am having trouble finding the center. Is ther a way to have a cross hair at the center with the guides or something because I want to allign my artwork at the center because it looks off center now.Thankyou guys!

Hello, when I select multiple images in Illustrator and click on the link to change them, it changes only one of them. Will there be an update to fix this error? Respects.

Hey all, I'm working on an illustrator project and am using a lot of guides... most of my guides I can edit and move around just fine, but there is one guide - just one - that I cannot edit or delete at all. It is not on any locked layer, guides are not locked, nothing else I have seen has led me to any solutions, and I've tried most everything. Has anyone encountered this error before? I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I'm just not looking in the right places.

I'm trying to troubleshoot for our organization of 5 and need some guidance. This RGB document looks accurate on 4 out of 5 user's computers in Illustrator. If we save it as a "High Quality Print" profile (no Color Conversion) PDF and view in Acrobat it looks right for everyone. I'm pretty sure it's a color profile issue but cannot re-create the issue on my computer. Nor can I create any type of file on my computer that looks right on her computer.- We don't have colors synchronized in CC. - Colors don't change if we assign other profiles (sRGB is dull, Display is brighter, but nothing like Acrobat's color).- In the screenshot attached, Illustrator is on the left, Acrobat on the right. This particular file has color management turned off, so she is prompted to assign a profile upon opening in Illustrator.- Test files attached: test_NCM (no color management), test_sRGB (sRGB profile assigned), and a PDF of the NCM file.Any help or things to try would be helpful. I am unable to open 3d pannel to make 3d. When i try to open 3d then my Illustrator crushes always. I also deleted all substance materials from illustrator but still it's not working. Please someone help me.

I wish to upload my old illustrator program that I bought back in 2010 [CS5] on a new computer I have just bought, but its not working properly. It keeps saying the serial number is incorrect but I'm using the correct one. It may be old but it should still be valid right? Any advise?

I can't figure out why my artboard will not snap exactly on an object;s anchor point.. here's what happens:Object layw within artboard, snap to point enabledResizing artboard with Artboard tool to the corner of object, only letting go when 'anchor' is lighting up..Result when zooming in:Can somebody replicate this? Am I missing something or is it a bug?The other way around it dóes work, moving the object to the artboard's corner.(Illustrator CC 2018 on Windows 10)
