Bonjour, j'ai un message qui revient souvent quand j'utilise illustrator "Impossible d'afficher la totalité de l'aperçu. Mémore insuffisante. ID : -108" Je n'arrive pas à résoudre le problème 😞

I've been using Illustrator for a lot of years, but I can't remember when the "3D and Materials" menu appeared. I've never used it, but examples I've seen have been encouraging. So where can I find the clearest, most accessible teaching package on how to use 3D in AI? I've watched a few (4-5) YouTube videos, but they move pretty fast and don't necessarily start from  a blank slate. I'm hoping to be able to produce files for simple, basic 3-D printing. 

Hello everyone,I've had a problem for a few days. When I try to type a text, the font automatically switches to Myriad Pro and a series of squares are drawn endlessly in place of my text.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling illustator, uninstalling and reinstalling Myriad Pro. No change. Any ideas?Thanks a lot!

Hi all! I am creating a typeface for my college project. Once I changed the colour from black to white, I started noticing that some of the letters have visible black outlines, which are not strokes. I don't know how to get rid of them- anyone has an idea what that is? 

Hi all, First things first, I'm completely new to Illustrator, so I apologize in advance if what I'm asking is something very obvious. Ok, so I'm trying to use the program to import some 3D files, so that then I can rotate them and export different pictures in different angles. The files I'm using come from Sketchfab, and they're available for download in different formats (.fbx, .usdz, .gltf, .glb). One example would be this: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/old-rusty-car-2-544aa41de67b48cf89f8fcc2bb06e8f4. I'm not sure why I'm not able to open these files on Illustrator. I thought all of these formats were compatible with the program. What am I doing wrong? Please help a newbie 🙂 Thanks so much!

When working in Illustrator in CMYK color mode, the colors appear as RGB. It is only when I export the file that I can see the true CMYK colors. Why would this be? Is there any way to fix this so I can work in the actual CMYK colors in the document?

Hi folks, first time for a while here!I've just realized something that annois me, and it probably happens for years and years :S I created a CMYK document and work with several colors on it, this are the blue color results: But when I switch that document to RGB mode, just to export the assets, the color changes:Am I doing something wrong? What I should do to work always with same colors? Should I work with two different files, each one with a different color mode, to manage the wanted color in each moment? Thanks in advance!

I've never seen this before.I am getting this error when I try to use gaussina blur. I just checked, and a bunch the the effectsplugins no longer work.I and using illustrator 25.1.Has anyone else seen  this error?Is there a work around or did I just hose myself by updting to the latest illustrator?-Cash

Hi, all! Long-time Illustrator user here, but since the last update, I appear to be having a problem with Illustrator destroying my SVG files.   A few minutes after saving, Illustrator is making all of the paths jagged and uneven. I´ve attached some examples. One is how the file is supposed to look, and the other is how Illustrator has made it look.   Can anyone shed any light on what´s happening? It´s happening to my other artist friends, too, so it´s not just me. Thanks!

Hello, I tried a free trial but after that I cancelled it to find out yesterday that 27$ where taken from my bank account, someone tell me is that normal if I already cancelled everything. Please someone can explain this

Hello, I have a gradient logo that I am trying to make as bright and rich as possible in PMS.  I'll need to supply the logo in a range of fromats (CMYK, RGB and PMS.) The best way I have discoverd to achieve a bright gradient is using Color Burn as an opacity effect on the gradient vs. multiply. Are there any watchouts I should be aware of for setting my art files up with a color burn opacity?  

Until AI 28, when exporting an SVG with soft carriage returns (shift-return in Illustrator), text was not converted to outlines. With Illustrator 28, Adobe significantly changed the format of exported SVGs (more info). Now, when exporting an SVG with Font Type: `SVG`, using a soft carriage return (shift return) in Illustrator causes the text to be converted to outlines. If I create a simple AI file containing only the text "test file", here is the resulting SVG code:  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" version="1.1" viewBox="0 0 500 500"> <defs> <style> .cls-1 { fill: #3e3e3e; font-family: ArialMT, Arial; font-size: 19px; } </style> </defs> <text class="cls-1" transform="translate(58.5 71.5)"><tspan x="0" y="0">test file</tspan></text> </svg>  If I add a single soft return between the two words

I create illustrator file with video mode, so it show those green lines in work area.How to turn off those green line? I've tried lots of ways, but I can't do it.And how I show only inside work area? I tried the view way I used before, but it doesn't work in video mode.Please help me, thank you.

Hi, I have a client who asked me to make packaging for food containers, is there a way for me to send him a blank label that he can edit the name of the food? I cant keep making him new ones when he adds things to his menu.Any adivice helps! 

Just as the title says! I was working on a file for a good 30 minutes (shame on me for not saving, I know) and it suddenly crashed a very simple document unceremoniously. WHen I opened it back up, the recovered file was the original file I had opened with no edits, despite settings allowing for complex documents to be saved in the background AND the background recovery save tie being set at 2 minute intervals. By all accounts, everything is set up as it should be to ensure my files are recovered with minimal loss. Why did it not work this time? Is this a bug, or is it something I may have missed in the settings? Will I ever sleep again? Is this the end of it all? Why am I crying into my keyboard? We just don't know. Any advice or thoughts would be super appreciated before I set my computer (and office) on fire and leave for the forest. Cheers and thanks, y'all!

Hi,I have a series of text objects that have special appearances applied to them (outline stroke, ellipse and fill) in order to make them look like numbers within colored circles. There is another series of paths that have matching names. Hi,I am experimenting with Intertwine tool but can't seem to figure out why it's greyed out so often. I'm trying to create a monogram with my initials just to as an assignment to get used to this feature but when i click select the two letters and go to Intertwine, it's greyed out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
