which keystroke causes all open palettes like color, layers, opacity, etc .to vanish. Very disruptive to workflow when you hit it accidentally and don't know which one.

少し前から、以前イラストレーターで作ったファイルを開こうとすると毎回このメッセージが出るようになりました。CMYKを選べば問題なく開けるのですが、煩わしいので出ないようにしたいです。どうしたらよいでしょうか。

Title says it all. Illustrator works fine with all other functions except for the Object>Transform>Move tool. When using it the whole app freezes and I cannot even quit. Not sure if this is normal behavior for Text/Create Outlines?I am creating Wire Frames to the  textAfter adding Text I should be able to go in Text/Create Outlines.However, Create Outlines is dimmed out.Once the text box is scaled down to only encapsulate the text does it return. I have also tried just typing in the text box and same result. Only after stretching out the box does it become active.Normal?

Hello Adobe community. I am trying to draw one of the Emporer's Angels but when I create transparent curved shapes (black or white for shadow or highlight), there appears to be some extra lines that have been added.  How am I supposed to show my devotion to the God Emporer of Mankind with these horrific blemishes built into the artwork. If I export to Photoshop, they are not there so I suspect this is just visual on my Mac.  Still annoying though and it's not the first time I've seen it. Anyone else een or fixed this please? 

Hi everyoneI'm having a frustrating time understanding the graph tool in Illustrator. I have 70 graphs to create from excel data for an InDesign report, very little time. I follow the instructions, i have a clear sample of the chart i need, yet the chart i get in Illustrator makes no sense. I transpose the rows and columns, still no luck. Where can i get clearer instructions on how to solve my problem?

Hi all,I would like to have just the effects only applied to a shape/path i.e. no fill and no stroke. We can do that in photoshop but I've not figured out how to do it in Illustratore.g. a Rectangle shape that only has drop shadow/inner glow.  How can we achieve it?

Hi I am trying to find an efficient way to curve my text without distorting the letters along a vertical path. The vertical path tool only allows for  single character and I tried the objects on path tool but i have to seperate every line and it is only centered on the path. I want my text to be left aligned.With the object on path tool I can only select to rotate and adjust the spacing on all objects on the path and not indivitually. I think this tool would be great if more adjustment features were added The Image that i'm using shows what im strying to do but i have manually divided each line from the textbox and altered where the line starts myself.Is there a better way to do this?

Good job Adobe for letting us know that. I wouldn't have upgraded if I had. And kudos to Hot Door for taking advantage of the situation and charging almost full price to upgrade CADTools to work with the new Illustrator. Congratulations all around folks.

I have the updated version of Illustratorand I can't find the button Paragraph direction

I work on social media posts using templates, the same fonts, colours and guides are used month to month so I usually just duplicate the file on the Cloud app, rename the file and then work with that file for the next batch of content. Recently I tried that and when I tried to open the duplicate file I received an error basically saying I'm not the owner of the file (screenshot provided). I havent changed anything and this had always worked, the only difference I've noticed is this file says "online only" which I noticed one or two files have the same issue when labeled with that. I am running illustrator beta and have already flagged a problem where you cannot open files directly from the adobe cloud using the beta versions and have to open files through the apps, but this is an entirely new problem. And yes I am aware that I could create a template for my file preference but this issue should still be addressed.

When I select an object with CTRL + C and then start a new page, or when I press CTRL + V within the same page, I get no response; it doesn't work. I don't encounter it all the time, but it's a very common problem. This problem isn't just for me; it can be a problem for other employees working with me.

When a color block with a linear gradient is mirrored in Illustrator and then copied and pasted into Animate, the direction of the linear gradient of the color block is reversed. The first image is in Illustrator, where the top-right and bottom-left parts are obtained by mirroring the top-left part. Dear Illustrator community,in Photoshop if you want to transform a point text by its true bounding box, there's a trick: you can put the text inside a group and the bounding box will touch the edges of the letters perfectly. I'm looking for a similar workaround in Illustrator. I would like to transform the text with the bounding box touching the letters but I don't know how to do it without expanding the text. Could anyone give me a hint? Thanks in advance!

How do I get rid of the annoying pop-up which appears when I click on the measurement tool in Illustrator?  AND I can't get back to the eye-dropper tool!

I'm running a Mac Mini with an M2 chip on Sonoma 14.6.1. Within the past few weeks, my Mac has stopped sleeping on it's own. I can make it sleep manually, but it wakes back up on it's own. If I simply walk away from my desk without doing anything, it never sleeps.
 
I saw previous threads about turning off all automatic syncing, updates, not allowing CC to start on start-up and have done all of that. In Illustrator, I don't save to the cloud and have the option to do so automatically unchecked.
 
When I look at the Activity Monitor, it shows Illustrator as the only App name with "Preventing Sleep" marked Yes. Opening the toggle for this item shows it's the CEPHtmlEngine item. Does anyone have any new ideas for fixing this? Being that this has been an open issues in other threads for over 2 years, I'm not getting my hopes up. If I can't get this figured out it's honestly going to be the final straw of moving to Affinity. I'm tired of paying this much money for software th

What has happened to my 'recent files' page? It's gone from showing the artwork, to either the AI logo, or just blank!

Where can I find this Extension for Adobe Illustrator?  

I'm trying to export an A4 artboard to an A4 PDF in illustrator. I'm not using a large artboard - I used the A4 preset like I always do. I've been using illustrator for years and never had this problem before.  I have checked the artboard size is correct and I've checked all the settings I can think of. When I export the PDF (either by 'Save As',  'Save As Copy' or 'Export for screens') it ends up being around 10% smaller than my document settings.  When I open the PDF again in illustrator it is the correct size. But when I view it in Adobe Acrobat or Preview it is around 10% smaller.  When I export it as a PNG it is the correct size.  I also tried to import the pdf to indesign and when I exported it there I got the same issue. I have a client waiting for the correct sized artwork and a bunch more work due this week so I really need to get this sorted ASAP. Can anyone help?

Adobe XD has the function to open illustrator files and select any element and export them into after effects (it even opens up After Effects if the program is not running).The way it is right now, designers work in illustrator and I have to have in parallel Illustrator, Adobe XD and After Effects running which is a lot of mental workload.Having this feature would instead reduce into 2 having to deal with 3 apps.

My colleague and I share reviews for illustrator projects but yesterday we started receiving the "Comments in this section do not map to any views in the content" error and we are not able to drop pins. We can comment but no pins and the comment doesn't show up on my end. We are both on an Enterprise plan.
