Un objeto bloqueado no debería impedir seleccionar lo que hay debajo.
Tras miles de hora de trabajo y siendo que antes este no era su comportamiento habitual, me resulta sumante incómodo e imagino que a más gente también.

It doesn't do that. Unless you have "Unlock objects on artboard" turned on. In which case you would need to select the object using a selection. rectangle.
