Using the new intertwine feature to intertwine a font with a line, but its blurry

So im using the intertwine feature today to intertwine a string of christmas lights that I made with the curvature tool with a font. everything looks great and im ready to print my design. when i get it off the printer everything on my design looks fantastic except for the font and strand of lights that were intertwined. They are super blurry.

Worried that my font was messed up, I made a copy on a new tab and realeased the intertwine effect and just printed to see if it was still blurry and now the strand of lights and font look crystal clear. The only problem is I need them to be intertwined AND not blurry.

Any suggestions?

It's a bug - it works if you expand your art otherwise it pixelates.
