Hi,I am often traveling with my camera. During travel I download some of the photos from my Fuji X-S10 to the phone through Fuji-X app and edit those jpegs on phone in Lr Cloud. It works perfectly and I have set of edited and polished images ready for my social media. When I get home from travel, I import RAW+jpegs from SD card to Lr Classic and I want to print high quality prints on my printer. Its there any way how to batch-sync all those development settings to imported RAWs or at least high quality jpegs? I did try syncomatic plugin - but it is not exactly that - photos has to be side by side to apply sync and direction of sync is somehow presetted - I couldnt find way how to do it right. Do you have any workflow suggestion how to do this? Thanks,Miloslav
Howdy! I have a fairly high powered machine. AMD 3950x (16core, 3.5GHz), 64GB Ram, Nvidia 2080 super (8gb vram), and dripping in Samsung 990 Pro M.2's. (Admittedly it was more of a beast in 2020 when I built it. 😉 It screams when I edit in in Premiere, simply tears through ProRes 4k video, both CPU and GPU ramp up to 90-100% utilization and run for hours. The problem occurs when I use Lightroom Classic...I have an archive of 250k images on a Synology NAS (my archive for old projects) and active projects live on a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro M.2 (connected to the motherboard X570 Master) while I'm editing them. When I import/render previews (say 4k images from a shoot), it crawls...But not because the CPU and GPU are maxed out, as they run at 6-10% CPU and 1-4% GPU. Lightroom just doesn't seem to be trying. It's like it doesn't fully utilize my CPU and GPU. The only time I can get LR to utilize 100% CPU is when I'm scrolling through the grid and images that don't h
Ever since I switched from Windows to Mac in November, I had a very annoying synchronization situation. I had over 6,600 pictures syncing in an endless loop. No sync errors were displayed and there was no entry in Sync Activity.I then created a "Diagnostic Report" and looked into it. I noticed that the lion's share of the entries were in the "Sync and Error Assets" section. Unfortunately, you can only see the top 10 images with names, the rest are just listed with a "document id".I also had this problem on Windows, but with far fewer images. I solved the problem by editing the images in LrC and then synchronizing them correctly and reducing the number of images in the synchronization. So I selected the 10 images whose names I could determine from the report and rotated them by 90°. In fact, there were 10 less pictures in my more than 6,600 "pending syncs".So in the next step, I rotated all the pictures from "All Synced Phtographs" by 90>. I then let the whole thing run overnigh
Some of my newly imported files appear very blurry and pixelated when zoomed in or in full screen mode. Before v. 14.2, the program might say "loading" and then make the preview quickly. I am using Lightroom Classic 14.2 on a Macbook Air 2020 with an M1 chip. I am looking at HEIC photos from an iPhone. I tried the following:* Library > Previews > Build Standard Previews (for one or all photos in a folder at one time). Did not work.* Catalog Settings > Previews > Preview Quality. I changed it fron Medium to High. Didn't work. I changed it back to Medium. Didn't work.* Photos > Rotate Left (CCW) followed by Rotate Right (CW). This made the Preview show properly. (This was just an arbritary thing to try, but it worked!) I did get one preview as a solid bright green image.
I have a new mac book pro. when I try to Publish from Lightroom Classic to Adobe Stock, I get an error message saying that I am not connected to the internet, even though I am connected. Some photos uploaded, but not all. How do I fix this?
Dear Community, since I'm facing unexplainable and extremely frustrating issues with Lightroom, I would appreciate any help or hint somebody might have. I just purchased new Lenovo laptop, I9, 64GB RAM, Nvidia 4070 8GB, Windows 11 -> at least on the paper this should be more than sufficient for smooth work. My problem is that Lightroom is extremely slow, it is practically impossible to use it. I'm just doing some simple edits, playing with some pasting of settings, 1-2 easy masks per photo - nothing special. If my graphic preferences are set to "Auto" or if acivate "Custom" variant, enabling full graphics acceleration, Lightroom practically becames useless. It takes ages even to browse through photos in "Develop" mode, exporting of photo takes 30+ seconds, and quite often during export graphich card get's completely disabled (error message is visible in "Preference" menu). If i disable graphic acceleration then Lig
Back to V 14.1.1 Catalog cannot work on new version .Re-installed 3 times and noway.
After this last update, I can't import photos. It goes through the steps and acts like the photos are being imported, then... nothing. At this point, I have to use the Task Manager to quit LR. Import button is no longer available. Restarting LR and my computer does not have any effect. Please help. This step is an integral to my business! Using Windows 11 Home, LR V 14.2
Enabling Address Lookup doesn't affect existing photos in the catalog until LR is restarted, leading people to think it isn't working. To reproduce on LR 14.2 / Mac OS: 1. Download and open this catalog: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/iqbgdcbyfg39cy66b8pf2/address-lookup-bug.2025-02-15.zip?rlkey=iqduqfe9zrf7nf37ixxgydxe9&dl=0 2. In the Metadata panel, choose the Location tagset. 3. In the identify plate, start Address Lookup. 4. Wait a couple minutes (or longer) and observe that both a.jpg and b.jpg have GPS coordinates but never get suggested address fields in Metadata > Location. 4. Restart LR, and observe that the photos get suggested address fields in Metadata > Location with 15 seconds.
I shoot raw images on my OM Systems camera and I use a card reader to import the images into my Macbook Pro's Photos application. I have Lightroom Classic release 14.2 and Camera Raw 17.2. I am flummoxed and frustrated because I cannot find a way to import a raw image from Photos into Lightroom. When I choose Import Photos and Videos in the File dropdown menu, nowhere is Photos listed in the Source box which lists absolutely everything on my Desktop. If I drag a photo labeled as RAW from Photos onto my Macbook Pro's Desktop, it turns into a .jpeg file. How do I get a photo from Photos into Lightroom as a .DNG file? Please explain this the way you would explain it to a 5-year old since I know some things but there are many more things I don't know!
I just upgraded Lightroom Classic to 14.2, and Lightroom Classic has marked all 151,000+ photos that I uploaded via the SmugMug plug-in as "modified". Marking the photos as "update-to-date" does not help. Lightroom would just revert them back to "modified" whenever I browse to a folder containing the affected files. When will there be a fix to bug, so I don't need to re-upload 151,000+ photos or roughly 75GB of data? [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I'm running into a problem where Lightroom Classic seems to suddenly randomly populate recent imports with the occasional much older image. The thumbnail will sometimes flash to the correct image when the cursor rolls over or right as it's clicked to go into the single image view. Eventually it stays as the older image. The same thing happens in Lightroom on a mobile device. It seems to be related to duplicate filename issues which I thought Lightroom handled automatically. I'll have a recent import of lets say 30 images and a few of them suddenly appear as images from much older imports. Everything is sorted by Capture time. I had a recent post/question regarding Capture Time but this seems to be more about a filenaming issue.
Using Lightroom CC v14.2, I cannot export anything. In develop mode, I go to file, export and nothing. The dialogue box does not appear. I have tried it in library mode, same thing, no dialogue box. I uninstalled and reinstalled but that was weird because it said it uninstalled and the reistall said it was installed, but when I openned it, Lightroom openned into the same pictures I was trying to export. I would have thought I would had to point it to the cat. This is weird, I have 700 pix I need to export today. Thoughts, suggestions?
Hello! I am running into the issue where some of my photos seem to be gaining the banding effect once the images are exported from Lightroom to Finder on my Macbook Air. I feel as though I have tried just about everything and read anything and everything about fixing this issue and still have not found a solution. I would greatly appreciate any and all help! Attached below is an example of more or less what the photo should look like and the photo with banding effect, also the export settings I have used primarily (although I have also tried just about every export setting imaginable). Thank you for your help and guidance in advance!
Tone curve can't copy!!! copy setting and after paste tone curve only default value
Hi I was having problems with my LR CC so turned something off think it was to do with the graphics. Now cant remember what I did and it cant open. I can click on it and it bounces but nothing else. I'm on a mac, please help someone I've backups but cant seem to get it to reinstall either.
Hello, I've been using Lightroom for a very long time and I think it would be extremely helpful to have a way to go through images in library mode (loupe mode) and be able to quick develop exposure with +/- 0,10 increments wihtout using a mouse. Ideally going through single images (in loupe mode) with left/right arrows and change exposure quickly with the up/down arrows. Right now the only way to do it is in develop mode (I just increase the exposure on the first image with the arrow key and then go to the next image and still i'm able to increse/decrease exposure as long as I don't move to a different slider) but it's much slower to go through images in develop mode. If there is a way already please let me know! Thanks
I just updated to LrC 14.2 on MacOS 15.3.1 MacBookPro M4 Pro and it was consistently crashing on every launch - hang with spinning beach ball and shows unresponsive in activity monitor. Happens right after the library screen appears. Lr (cloud) was launching successfully the whole time and syncing just fine, so ruled out a sync issue. Here's what I discovered if it helps anyone, because it seemed this was happening at the point where LrC usually accesses the external NAS (connected via SMB) for photo originals: 1. Revert back to LrC 14.1.1 -> Successful launch2. Reset Presets and update to 14.2 again -> failure, crash on launch2a. Launch in Rosetta mode -> failure, crash on launch 2b. Completely uninstall (Adobe CC cleaner) and reinstall 14.2 -> failure, crash on launch3. Update to 14.2 again, dismount NAS drive where photo originals are stored (Catalog is of course on main HD) before launching -> Success4. as with #3, but mount NAS after successful l
Suddenly the ai noise reduction in lightroom classic does not work, what is wrong?
Subject pretty much explains it. Image is not a Smart Preview.Tried resetting the preference file. Did not help. Uninstalled LR/PS and the Creative Cloud App. Reinstlled the app, PS and LR. Did not help.
Hello,I am trying to open scans made with SilverFast9 with Lightroom but when I try to import the folder “without physically moving the files” Lightroom gets stuck without importing anything. I have tried with both Tiif and DNG files and the result is always the same. Specifically for the DNGs I had started importing them one at a time and it read them correctly but then trying to move the destination folder to import them all at once gave me the same error (so I don't think it depends on the format). I also tried importing them one at a time but with no change. They are tiff/dng files that weigh around 200mb and photoshop correctly reads both files. What could be the problem?
