I have an Xs and am considering buying new iPhone. It is not important to me to shoot at 48mpx but I am interested that Lightroom Mobile also uses 2x focal length as “native” when I shoot in DNG (i.e. a RAW file that has the 2x framing, albeit with fewer mpixels). With the 16 Pro surely Lr considers 0.5x, 1x and 5x because they are all optical focal lengths (just as on the Xs it can use 1x and 2x). I was wondering if the 2x “cropped” of 16 and 16e is also usable when shooting with Lr utilising RAW/DNG. Thank you.

Hello, I subscribed to Lightroom Premium in January and have been using it since with bug issues. I paid a sale offer price and since the purchase, everytime I proceed to try use any premium feature, the app asks me subscribe again. When I just say yes and try to continue in past experiences it says "You're currently subscribed to this. Your subscription to Premium yearly 100GB renews 8 Jan 2026 for the full amount. Etc." then the app has moved on and allowed me to use the features. Tonight however, it is doing this but now when I try to re subscribe as per usual (even though I already have the subscription) it says "no restored purchases" and says there are no past purchases. I am paying for an app that I cannot use and I need it to be reliable. It is also stating an ID and email address that is not my own, I need help to ensure I have not been hacked and that my app and subscription are working. thank you for any help!!! Dear Community,Since October 2024, it has not been possible to import Nikon RAW files into the desktop version of Lightroom CC, regardless of whether they are compressed or not. According to Adobe Support, there is currently no planned fix for this issue.Interestingly, the emulated version of Lightroom Classic on ARM devices does not seem to have this problem and can import Nikon RAW files without any issues.Does anyone have more information on this matter or know of a reliable workaround?Thank you in advance for your insights.

I need help! Has anyone experienced an issue with Lightroom after an update that says Lightroom needs to do some housekeeping but doesn't do anything?!? The status bar hasn't moved in 48 hours and I've tried everything to get it to start working again! 

I want to start by saying I know I made multiple mistakes throughout this process and would do things very differently with what I know now. Recently, my Macbook suffered water damage. I took it to a computer repair shop in town since the screen wouldn't work and the keyboard was non-responsive. After a few days, the guy was able to back up my laptop's harddrive. (This is where I should have said thank you and left) I use the Lightroom desktop app, my originals are stored on an external harddrive, and I thought my edits were stored in the cloud. However, my cloud storage had been full for some time, but Lightroom allowed me to continue using the program and I never had any issues. I bought a new MacBook, plugged in my external hard drive with the original photos, and was missing the majority of my photos in the Lightroom Desktop app. I went to my external hard drive and found the originals folder with 30,000+ images. So this meant I was just missing the edits. No problem

Uso o Ligthroom à vários anos sempre a versão desctop. Hoje tenho LrC no meu iMac. Quero passar a usar o Ligthroom tb no meu iPad em especial quando fora de casa. Tenho várias dúvidas. Se alguem puder ajudar agradeço:- Em termos de funcionalidades e menus o Lr é semelhante e igualmente potente qd comprado como LrC?- A conversao do LrC para o Lr ( catálogos e ficheiros) é automatica?- No caso do Lr onde estão os catálogos? Onde podem estar os ficheiros? é possivel passar as fotos do iPad para o arquivo geral no iMac e sincronizar o catálogo do iPad como o "master" no iMac?São muitas perguntas e acredito que a resposta possa não ser fácil. Existe algum sitio e/ou canal onde eu possa esclarecer estas questões. Muito Obrigado

I'm using Adobe Photoshop LIghtroom Version 7.5 on a MacBook Air.I can't understand how to use the Clone stamp and the online instructions are very brief and do not explain at all how to set the source area.I click on the area I want to fix but I am not able to set the source area.There is only one circle showing on screen. I've looked on YouTube but all the tutorials are for Lightroom Classic which shows TWO circles - one for the source area and one for the area you want to fix.

I start editing on my PC. Then I finish and export the photos from my IPad. The problem is that when I switch to the iPad it is using Smart Previews and not the RAW files. I want to import the Original/Raw files to the iPad and replace the smart previews. It simply won't let me do that unless I delete the smart previews first and then import the RAW as a new import. However this deletes all of my edits that I have made on the PC. 

Hello all, I just recently purchased a used 2012 mac pro 5,1. I was GOING to use this machine to edit photos... Until I realized (after the purchase) that you need AVX2 support to install lightroom CC. Does anyone have/know what version I can download that doesn't require the AVX2?   Thanks   Parker

I imported photos to Lightroom (Not Classic, idk what to call the desktop version of mobile thanks to the stupidity of the names) on my Macbook, and it seems that 3,970 of those photos are stuck syncing, while 593 of them decided to sync just fine. The 593 that did sync, are photos that I added to an album I created while the photos were syncing. Now I'm just stuck with no other photos, and those 3,970 are only on my Macbook, and not syncing.

When I want to use the function "Export as", maximum number of photos that I can save to my gallery is just five. If I select more than 5 photos, Lightroom does not give me the option to do that, instead I have to send them to my Files first, and then from there to save them to my gallery. Why?I use Mobile Lightroom for IOS, version 9.2.2.

I'm currently thinking about setting up a NAS. Since I edit my photos (in a first step) via Lightroom Mobile (and then do the finishing touches on the PC), I'm thinking about what the perfect workflow could look like. Or whether my idea can even be implemented in a semi-automated way: I take most of my photos via my Pixel. But I also syncphotos directly via cell phone. In a further step, the photos should go directly to the NAS (this should be possible with Synology Photos). The photos should then be added from there to a Lightroom catalog. In the Adobe Cloud, Smart Previews from the current year would actually be enough for me - so that I can edit the photos from all devices. I'm not sure if that's possible:- On the one hand, I can of course upload everything from the cell phone to the Adobe Cloud in a first step. But once they are on the NAS, I would like to delete the original file again (without too much effort) and replace it with a Smart Preview - Is

I rely heavily on Profiles in my editing workflow - ones provided by Fuji, Adobe, and profiles I've purchased from third parties. I'd really love to be able to create new profiles from my own edit settings, but don't see a way.  I've found a hacky technique (below) that works, but I'd  love to have a feature to create my own profiles from current settings with a click. The technique I'm using: 1) Export a preset as an .xmp file2) Open in a text editor like Notepad or VSCode3) Find and change these two lines: crs:PresetType="Normal" to crs:PresetType="Look" crs:SupportsAmount="False" to crs:SupportsAmount="True" 4) Save, then in LR go to Profiles and Import the updated file.5) The new Profile will show up in the User Profiles section.

Since the last LR update images flicker, panel flickers and slow to respond. No issues prior to update. All updates have been done. Windows operating system.

I am having problems with Lightroom v8.2, 20250201-0700-1b12095 Build when it comes to recognizing "subject", "background" and "object" in masking. This includes new masking when editing new files and then when reviewing edits and further editing of previous files. In the latter case, previous "subject" masks have disappeared.  I also experience pixelating when doing AI denoise.  Help

Hi Adobe Support,   I am in the middle of a crisis and urgently need help recovering my photos. I recently switched Adobe accounts, attempting to export all of my original photos from my previous account  so that I could import them into my new account (). However, when I logged back into my original account, I discovered that all of my photos are gone!   I had hundreds of thousands of photos stored in the cloud—representing my entire life’s work as a photographer and content creator. These images are invaluable to me, and I need them restored as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I do not see any option to restore them myself, and I am panicking about the possibility of permanent loss.   Could you please assist me with: 1. Confirming whether my photos are still retrievable from Adobe’s servers? 2.Restoring my full photo library as it was before this issue occurred? 3.Understanding why my photos disappeared and how I can safely transfer them to my new account without

I shared a link to a web album for adobe lightroom CC with a client and they immediately reported that when zooming in, the images were blurry. As it turns out, when viewing the images in-browser and zooming in, the full resolution fails to load and renders details far blurrier and soft than the actual image is when downloaded and zoomed in. Zoomed in on Browser:  Zoomed in after downloading:   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Hello,  I am focus stacking by editing RAW files in LR + edit as layers in Photoshop + Auto Allign and Auto Blend. However, when I save (not save as) I do not see a new file and neither do I find a new file back in Lightroom. Can anyone help? All tutorials I've seen online deal with Lightroom Classic and check stack with original to ensure the new file is easy to find back in Lightroom next to the original files, but this option isn't available on LR as there is no external editing preferences. The only solution for me at the moment is to export in Photoshop, but I'd like a more seamless solution. Thanks in advance!

hi there, my app today doesn't want to load my shots. I can see they are there in the left column count but the screen stays black, theu don't show up. I tried rebooting my mac, nothing shows up. The ios version is very very slow too.  I am pretty disappointed here. 

Hi there, Bitdefender identifies these files as password-protected:  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom CC\libde265.dat=>libde265.dll C:\adobeTemp\ETR7CEB.tmp\1\Adobe Lightroom\libde265.dat=>libde265.dll Are they supposed to be password-protected? Would you advise to keep the files or delete them?

Hey Can anyone tell me how much cloud storage I Get on My Lightroom Premium Mobile/Ipad? And is there something like Google drive I can use that storage for as well?   (Thread title edited by Moderator)
