Add iPhoto to Lightroom cc

A few minutes ago I took one shot with the iPhone Lr app camera.It showed in camera roll with a duplicate with exactly the same name and time (to the second - NOT a double shutter tap) and both populated my Lr ecosystem. The Info for both files in Lr is exactly the same.  The file name on the thumbnail view in LrC has one named as Copy 1.After a week of using the Adobe Lr ecosystem I'd rate it about an 8 out of 10. It HAS issues.  I'd not call them 'bugs' since they can not be repeated at will. Like a line from the movie 'I ROBOT' they may be just "random bits of code'!🫤

I've recently (last week) moved from using LrC to using Lr.I have an iPhone 14 ProMax which has the Apple native camera, the Lr app camera and ProCamera installed.When I shoot with either camera the photos go into the 'camera roll' system.I have the Lr App Settings / Import 'AUTO ADD FROM CAMERA ROLL' with ONLY 'Photos' enabled.Photos from either camera then populate my Lr system (Lr iPhone, Lr iPad, Lr iMac, Lr Web, LrClassic on iMac & Apple TV Lr app.Yesterday I shoot 33 photos then deleted 5 of them thru Lr iMac.  They showed in the 'deleted' album.I then Removed them from disc using LrClassic on iMac. A few minutes later all five of the deleted images reappeared in Lr (iMac, iPhone and iPad.I looked in the Lr 'Delete' album and all five were there so I went back to All Photos and deleted them again. Then the Delete album showed duplicates of all five. I selected all and deleted them . . . should be for good?But NO!  2 days later I opened the iPhone Lr app and ONE

Fotos, die ich in LR-Cloud bearbeite, werden in der überarbeiteten Fassung auch in LR Classic übernommen. Beim Löschen funktioniert dies nicht analog. In LR (Cloud) nimmt die Anzahl der Fotos ab, in LRc auf dem Desktop bleibt die Anzahl der Fotos gleich. Löschen wird also nicht zwischen LR und LRc nicht abgeglichen?

I have lightroom installed on computers and a phone. I don't want it to auto upload photos to the cloud. How do I stop photos from uploading?

Dear All,I have noted a strange behavior of Lr on iOS (iPhone XR): some times the HDR image has a lot more color noise in some areas than the non-HDR image (I opted for both versions to be stored) and at other times it's the converse (more color noise in the non-HDR image than in the HDR one). That this behavior oscillates randomly and that it's sometimes the non-HDR, direct-from-sensor image that has more color noise is baffling (me at least). Has anyone noticed this on an XR or some other iPhone model ? Is there anythiong to be done ?Thanks for all suggestions and/or pointers !

Hi, I am trying to sync my cloud content to my mac. I used the Downloader for this already, but there seems to be no way to change the target folder. The tool always tries to access the initial path (external drive) that is not connected anymore and I was unable to find a way to enter the folder selection again. I already searched in the net and on the adobe page for infos, but found nothing. Maybe somebody ran into the same issue and found a way to solve it.

I stopped doing photography about a year ago, but I have continued to pay for my Adobe light room and Pixieset Client portal so that I would still have access to not only my client photos but also my personal photos. I don't want to keep spending the money each month on both accounts. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can store those photos, especially my own photos somewhere that I don't have to pay monthly. Thank you for your advice.  

Export images from lightroom cloud (the one where you try to keep images in Adobe's cloud and hope for the best) - it exported them but the slider indicator thing just sits on 1 out of 58. Rebooted. Same thing. Just a bug. I would really not expect this kind of bug given what i am paying for this. 

I had an account from work but since I don't work there anymore I openend a personal photography plan.Facing the following problem now:Mobile phone is still logged in under work account with 1200 pics in it. I did saved them locally on my phone.I would like to change the account on my lightroom mobile to my personal account but will I loose all my pictures when logging in with my new account?How can I do this without losing all my pics?Thanks in advance.

For some reason the app keeps crashing, I'm on Windows 11 and my pc specs are plenty enough. Sometimes it crashes when I am changing a photo setting and it always crashes when I use spot healer. Either way it crashes I always loose any settings I applied.

Hi team,  I tried to import some new presets today, but they immediately dissapear after importing. I select Import but as soon as I select the .xmp file to Presets >> Import Presets... >> Select my .xmp file >> Import >> It reads "1 Preset Imported", but immediately dissapear and the preset is not appearing under any folder (see video attached).  - I have the "Hide partially compatible presets" button unticked as I read a recent update made it hide presets without a profile automatically. - Have tried with 5-6 different presets, all .xmp- This is in Lightroom (not Classic) on Macbook Pro thanks,Alex

Hi. All of a sudden there are no photos showing up in my library.  I tried adding a photo manually but a msg pops up stating the app is closing due to a bug. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but same issue. After reinstalling, it shows the cloud syncing reviving but that's it. The app has been working flawless since installing about a month ago. I used it lastnight without any problems and it just started this issue today.  Anyone have any insight? Samsung S23 Ultra. 

Hello, i use web browser Version of lightroom by Chrome on a Windows 10 i successusfly worked before in this way but now when i try to import the photos, it does all the upload processand says that the photos are successfully updated, but when i press to "continue" just 2 photo of 90 are actually imported, about the other 88 it's impossibile to find them, if i try again in another album same things, if i try again in the same album it tells me that i'm duplicating, like they are already present, but actually no photo of the 88 present.Somebody can give me an explication and help please? Thank you

Bonsoir,  Je me permets de vous écrire car mes presets ne s'affichent plus dans la partie paramètres prédéfinis de lightroom et ce depuis cet après-midi. Je n'utilise pas lightroom classic. Hello, I bought the Lightroom and Photoshop pack, after creating my Adobe account, I downloaded the file to install Creative Cloud and Lightroom. Once the application is opened, the message displayed is: "Account authentication. Enter your system password when prompted to install Lightroom on your computer. Once your password is correctly entered, we will open a browser window to authenticate your account."I click "Continue" and I have a Lightroom installer padlock: "Lightroom Installer would like to make changes. Enter your password to authorize this operation."That's what I do and it doesn't work. I specify that I am on macOS Monterey 12.6.6 I tried my icloud password, it does not work, my 1st Adobe password, it does not work, then I changed my Adobe password and I Tried again and it still doesn't work. Can you help me? I don't understand.THANKS.

Hi all, Please help! I'm editing some videos in Lightroom and whilst editing the resolution looks fine, but after exporting (as 'MP4') the resulting file is much lower resolution with frames with bad artefacts/pixelation. I can't see anywhere to check the export resolution or if anything could be causing it... I usually use Lightroom Classic but wanted to add grain so used Adobe Lightroom on this occasion but I'm having this issue that I've never had on the other version.

Maybe I just can't figure it out but why can't I just drag and drop photos that are already imported from a folder on my computer into a new album to share. It just says photos are already imported with no option to just add those selections into the new album. Also why can't I organize photos in an album by ones that have been "liked" or "commented" on. If there is a way to do this please tell me. If not.. that is terrible. 

Hallo, ich hatte bei Lightroom einen Ordner mit Bildern erstellt. Meine 20 GB Cloud war ca. zur Hälfte gefüllt. Nun habe ich neue Ordner erstellt und neue Bilder hinzugefügt. Dabei wurden die 20 GB Cloud Speicher überschritten. Somit habe ich einen Großteil der ersten Bilder gelöscht und entgültig gelöscht um Platz in der Cloud zu schaffen. Es wurde jedoch noch kein einziges neues Bild hochgeladen, da die Cloud angeblich immer noch mit 20 GB Bildern gefüllt ist. Diese habe ich doch aber gelöscht. Wie bekomme ich wieder freien Speicherplatz in der Cloud?

Hello I've been using lightroom for about a year now and during a move I started using it on a laptop but quickly ran out of storage space so I discovered how to change the local storage to an external drive and it worked perfectly. Well I finally got my desktop back up (Win10 Home 64Bit) and decided to do the same thing but after selecting the new drive and making a folder Lightroom will not transfer the photos. According to the menu I only have about ~3100 photos on the desktop in Lightroom and around ~16,000 total on the computer but after letting the Moving your Photos dialog box run for several days it ran up over 38,000 before my PC restarted at some point during the night, I tried to set the storage back to the default and it will open and transfer about ~1800 photos like it should but every time I try and use my other drive it will count up to the initial "XX of XXXX" photos and then when it reaches the expected number it will just continue to climb and won't stop as seen in th

Healing tool cursor not showing when the app is in full screen mode on mac, cursor disappears when I hover it over the photo. Lightroom version is 6.3.1Macos version is Ventura 13.1

My Lightroom on my android phone has been really hard to work with lately. It's very slow and it freezes and closes down completely multiple times in each editing session. It's very frustrating because when this happens I lose the work I have been doing. Tonight alone it's has happened 5 times in a hour. I am now so frustrated I'm shutting down shop till tomorrow. What is going on!
