After first launching Lightroom, we can enter Crop mode by pressing "C" key. Then we can do our cropping, then confirm it (as we confirm everything on a computer) by pressing Enter. But after using LIghtroom for a while (sorry that's fuzzy), Enter stops working to confirm the crop. We can stil confirm the crop by pressing the "C" key again, but for some reason Enter stops working until Lightroom is quit and restarted.  The amount of time LR has to run before Enter stops working for crop confirmation is not known - sometimes it's day, other times (like this evening) it seems to stop working minutes after launch. Something must be triggering the failure but I don't know what.  I know this sounds minor, but Enter is so ingrained as the "do it now" key since the beginning of computing that this one always throws me.  This bug has existed for the five years I've been using LR, and has persisted across all of the updates in that time. The"subtract" option in masks, when selected, tends is initially operating as an "add".  Consequently it means needing to "convert it".  This occurs regardless of the masking type.

I have renewed my subscription and recently changed my phone from iPhone 14 max pro to 18 max pro . My iPhone says subscription not renewed 

Assisted culling doesn't work with large collections. I've tried both local and cloud modes. At first, it estimates 8 hours to complete, but then it hangs after a few hours at around image 373 out of 5,000 (jpeg). I'm getting the same issue with Lightroom Classic.   

After applying AI Denoise to a batch of RAW photographs in Lightroom Desktop 9.6 on macOS, JPG export hangs and never begins.Steps to reproduceOpen RAW photographs in Lightroom Desktop. The original RAW files export correctly. Applying Denoise to an individual photograph can work correctly but then hangs again. I'm not understanding how my Lightroom (Desktop 9.4.1) Library is getting so large. Yesterday it was at 320 GB, I deleted it and let Lightroom rebuild it, today it's at 246GB. Despite having my cache set to 50GB. My overall Library size is 1.7TB In the Cloud, and fully saved to a local SSD.When I dig into the Library file, I see a Proxies Folder that is 223GB, it appears to be copies of all the video's I have in my Library. I have local copies of everything in my Library on a local SSD that I always have, I don't need those in the proxy folder and I have my Cache Set to 50GB. 1) Why would Lightroom download the video's to the Proxy Folder when the Cache is set to 50GB? 2) How do I fix it? 3) I would like to keep my Library file to about 100 - 150GB - Anyway to cap it? 4) I have the option- to save all Smart Previews to my Mac, turned on. Is this outside of (in addition to) the 50GB Cache limit, or within it? 

The menu item for Edit > Remote 1 Photo from Album does not display the short cut key in the way that others immediately above it do (for example Select None.)Edit: The shortcut key is DeleteLightroom version: 9.6 MAS arm64 [ 20260923-1659-a32d844 ] (Sep 23 2026)p.s. A question was raised on a Japanese forum stating that Exif data is not included when exporting from the iPhone version of Lightroom.I have reproduced this issue using the same environment. I get an error every time I try to use AI sharpen. It says I have credits to use so I am not sure what the problem is. It has told me my internet is a problem but there is nothing wrong with the internet.

The current iPadOs version of Lightroom is missing many of the features of the MacOS version. Please add these features such as the color picker and color variance tools found in the MacOS version. 

When I view the RAW image in file explorer through the open with ‘photos’ option, and I compare the same image to what has been imported into Lightroom, I can see I have lost a very small amount of the image (perhaps 1% of each side of the image). I have searched the web for about 3 hours now and found no reason why this might be, or any solution. Just to clarify- I don’t have any ‘Optics’ settings on, like Lens Correction that changes the image on import. The image is also in full and no crop has been applied.The only have two camera and this issue is there for both- Panasonic GX80, and an older Nikon D200- The Nikon D200 is the camera I noticed this issue with, and the issue is worse on this camera than the Panasonic (it’s so so slight on the Panasonic and really takes some zooming in to see that’s it happening- but it’s still there!. The cameras are set to their full aspect ratio. I don’t understand why this is happening, and it’s obviously quite upsetting that Lightroom is removing

When you right click on an album in Photos mode (P) and the prompt “The album XXX will be deleted. Photos will remain in your library” shows up, it would be great to have a checkbox option to actually delete the photos in the selected album(s) in one step vs having to go back, find the photos that are now longer in an album, and delete them that way.

How do I get my stacks back?

After rotating a radial mask (~25° or more), moving the mask causes it to increase in size with each drag. Translation appears to trigger scaling, making the mask impossible to control.Occurs on macOS using a trackpad (Lightroom Desktop 9.2 and 9.3). Why does Lightroom on iPad not receive updates and new features at the same rate as Lightroom Mobile? This currently forces me to keep both apps installed and switch between them depending on which feature I need, which is not very convenient and makes the overall experience feel unnecessarily fragmented.I’m using an M5 iPad, which is significantly more capable than my phone in terms of processing power, screen size, storage, and overall workflow potential. After the April 2026 update, the search function seems to have (somehow) gotten worse. I know that the update says it addresses search problems but it seems to have broken things.In all of my photos in Lightroom, I identify people by name and put them into the captions. Prior to this, I could search lightroom and all of this person’s photos would show up. Suddenly I am getting the most BIZARRE results when searching people’s names. The name “Cait” brings back a ton of cat pictures for example - i guess it thinks i am looking for cats? Not everything needs AI. My entire workflow has been disrupted by this, does anyone know how to fix this?
