Hi! I run a Blender YouTube channel (southernshotty) and was excited to do a tutorial on the new mixamo add on, but it's not currently working for me.  I'm getting a recall error when generating the rig and it breaks the rig. Removing part of the arms. I've tried it on two computers and three versions of blender. 

So , recently i am trying to make a FPS game and when i used a falling animation for my swat character it was bugging i added all the running,idle,crouch,walking animation and nothing happend like this but when i downloaded another animation from Mixamo which was not included with the swat character it start bugging .TY

I want to use mixamo animations (and possibly the default base characters) to generate 2D animations from various angles. I would then like to distribute these animations as framestrips or gifs, possibly for free but also maybe sold as assets on itch.io. example: Does the mixamo licence allow this kind of use? The actual 3d model and animations would not be distributed with this asset, only 2d images that were generated using it. I could not find a proper licence for mixamo animations, so if anyone can answer it that would be great.  

I have a character that will have a lower-body exoskeleton attached to it with a separate rig. I've had some success putting this double-rig into mixamo as long as the two rigs are connected by a bone from the hips to the top of the exoskeleton. I would like to know if Mixamo can read rotation constraints/parent constraints when an already rigged character gets imported.

I'm playing around with Godot and I want to have a 3D character with multiple animations so I can learn how the whole playing and blending of animations work. Since I am no 3D artist, nor animator, some googling led me to Mixamo where I got some characters and some animations to work with. I've been following the process described in this YouTube video for "fixing" the Mixamo files and combining multiple animations into one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hk9ljcS1Ro.Doing this manually in Blender sort of works, but is error prone and time consuming, so I found this script https://github.com/Johngoss725/Mixamo-To-Godot/blob/main/Mixamo_RM_Godot.py which I further modified and adapted to my needs. Now I can basically run this script and have it combine 150 different animations without skins and a single charachter with skin in a minute or two. For example, after downloading my Mixamo Character using the baseball swing animation, can I add a 'bat" object in another 3d program for the character to 'swing'? ty

Is it possible to upload and redistribute the motion downloaded from Mixamo converted to .vmd format? 

So a bit baffled here. Trying to import a character into Mixamo. A plain/no texture OBJ works fine - but the zipped version with MTL won't import at all. And the FBX version breaks appart the model on import (e.g. head is detacted from next).  This page isn't presently unable to upload OBJ and FBX files either 🙂  Quite frustrating . . . any help/leads greatly appreciated!!! 

So I recently created an account for Mixamo and I need help. The rigs I downloaded acting really jenky when it comes to creating control rigs. A specific problem that I found are the IK for the rigs. The IK for the legs are in reverse.Can someone help how to fix this??? These also might be a bit of help:The way I open them is I delete the cube, open fbx, go to the downloaded rigs, select the rig, check the "force connect children", import, open the mixamo tab, select the armature, press the "create control rig", uncheck animation (I only need the rig), click ok, and the legs IK becomes reversed. So is there anything in my process that is wrong, or is there a solution to this problem that doesn't involve the process of opening it??

I downloaded the character and put it on my webpage without any problems with threejs, and then I downloaded an animation and attached it to the character. But when I changed the animation, it made the character fly in the sky and stay in the sky like a balloon. (Standing Clap.fbx). I noticed that some animations work in some characters and do not work in others. Please help me how to fix this problem.

Hello. PLEASE roll back and fix the way mixamo rigs hand bones. Over the past few months it has become utterly useless. Instead of creating a skeleton with 5 fingers on each hand, it creates hands with only 2 or 3 sets of fingers for bones, making the output totally useless. If you just put it back to the way it was so it ALWAYS creates the 5 sets of fingers on each hand for the rig, it would work perfectly fine and I could fix any issues on my own end. This problem has been getting increasingly worse over the past few months and now it simply won't create the right number of bones no matter how I adjust the fbx that I upload.Please tell me your team can and will fix this as the mixamo service is completely useless right now due to this issue.Thank you.

Hi, all characters with blendshapes have distorted teeth and inner mouth parts. So it seems all characters coming from the same base, all have the same problem. Open the mouth, it looks very ugly and is not usable. No matter if the models are opened in 3dsMax or Unity. Any solution? Or could the morphtargets/blendshapes be reworked, so all (visible) distortion of inner mouth is fixed? Greetings, Martin

Hello, I want to know one thing, if I don't disturb obviously. To start I'm sorry for my eventual bad English. If I make a game and in it there are fuse models, full rigged ect with adobe fuse, can I sell it? Thanks for answer me 😄

 Hello,I uploaded a character on Mixamo and auto rigged it. But I do not like the deformation at the elbows.I tried to adjust the paint weight in Maya but as soon as I open the paint weight window the geometry is not moving with the rig anymore...Can anyone help me?Is there a way to solve the issue in Mixamo directly?Or how should I solve it in Maya?  

Hello, I am kinda new to blender whenever I upload my model it says sorry unable to map your existing skeleton this is the model, also the file size 1.89 MB.Is there anyway I can fix this. Thank you 

Since yesterday, every model I've attempted to rig has come out with only an index finger (once I got a thumb and index as well). I'm selecting the standard skeleton, but all the rigged models are coming out with no finger bones. Can anyone help?

My game is going on to build for playstore but i am facing some problems. I have downloaded three characters and many animations now at first time the characters will be unlocked in game and will be used by player after watching ads per character but the character and animation are not downloadable and even editable inside the game as they are the part of game file. Now anyone tell me can my game will be lunched without any copright issue or any other issues which will be occured due to this character and animation. Kindly help me in this problem.

Hay Folks, I'm trying to bring a 3D character model that has been texutred in dimention, into mixamo for applying animations, however when I bring the model into mixamo, the maerials have gone. if i bring in the same export back into dimention, the materials are still connected so i get the feeling the problem lies in Mixamo.the only file types that are shared between both mixamo and dimention is OBJ, I know an fbx would probably have been better to use for keeping materials applied but I dont have that option in dimention. My intention is to use adobe throughout the workflow but this issue is making it difficult to do that. Any help much appreciated. cheers guys!  

Hi,following this very simple tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqJTjuyNfh8I try to animate some characters from rocketbox repository https://github.com/microsoft/Microsoft-Rocketbox The problem is that when I try to drag and drop the fbx, Mixamo raise an error dialog that tells that is not able to automatic rig. From the tutorial instead it looks ok, showing the next panel as the operation is successful. Any suggestion?
