Ctrl-Alt-Shift-E is not working since the latest update.

When opening the new Beta version in 2026, all my existing actions and pre sets which I have been suing for years have been wiped form memory. I dont have access to the original files any more and am not able to re load them into photoshop. I spoent hundreds of dollars and time creating custom presets and actions for my brand and edits and now they are gone. I need to know how to get thwem back asap.

When uploading updates for PS (Beta), I get an alert from Adobe indicating there might be issues, unless I can upgrade to a more recent OS system, presently on a Mac OS within an iMac unit.  I just let it proceed, and it works well up to a point: Most of the issue jobs bounce between PS, AI, and Acrobat, linking with MS Word for editing purposes.  They regularly freeze up if I leave too many files open once without saving then closing them.  When I do a 'save as' the use of memory quickly escalates on older OS systems and can freeze up if too many programs and files are open at once. My current system has plenty of memory, unless I load it up with too many open files, or if I have to make edits and changes.  The artwork on it might take too many Gigs of Memory, automatically freezing it up, unless I limit the number of open files that can display, even after installing upgrades, now with 32GB RAM...  it too often seems to not be enough memor

Beta is crashing when I upload a picture (for editing).  No error messages. The app just crashes.  Production version works fine.  

Each time I attempt to utilize the "Move Tool" by pressing the ALT key in combination with a LEFT CLICK shortcut, the Photos Beta application unexpectedly shuts down, and unfortunately, it fails to retain any of the progress or memory associated with my current project.

When attempting to use shift edge when editing a layer mask, the Layer Mask Property window abruptly closes, and the shift is not implemented.  It occurs regardless of whether the shift is positive or negative.

the remove background and select subject features at not working AT ALL. everytime you click it for any type of image, it just selects there wierd lines and patterns. Please fix this Adobe its really hard to work without it. I have an M4 Macbook Air and im using photoshop beta 27.3.0 release

Reporting this bug! In the latest PS Beta 27.3.0, there’s a bug where pressing the CTRL-ALT-Shift-E shortcut triggers an error instead of merging to a new top layer while keeping the history layers visible. This function worked fine in the previous Beta, and the current regular PS version 27.0.2 still works as programmed.

i can't merge images after update

I started having a version of this problem today, after years of using Command+Shift+Option+E on my Mac to merge visible selected layers into a new layer. The keyboard shortcut doesn't work, and the trick of holding the Option key while selecting the Menu Command "Merge Visible" doesn't work. This Stamp Layer command is invaluable to me (and no, using Smart Object layers is not the same for me). I have tried resetting preferences, on quit and start; no luck, which is a real shame since I obtained all the disadvantages of resetting to default and gained no advantage. All my Adobe CC apps are up to date. I changed nothing on my Mac Studio (M2 Ultra/MacOS Tahoe). Stamp Visible simply stopped working  when I closed one image and began working on a new image, even though I had not quit PS. And it has brought my work to a halt. I'm pretty bummed out.   I've attached a screenshot of the error mesage I receive whenever I try to invoke the shortcut or the menu command. I could no

In the latest PS Beta 27.3.0, there’s a bug where pressing the CTRL-ALT-Shift-E shortcut triggers an error instead of merging to a new top layer while keeping the history layers visible. This function worked fine in the previous Beta, and the current regular PS version 27.02 still works as expected. Hopefully, the programmers will fix the CTRL-ALT-Shift-E shortcut in the next Beta release.

Acabo de actualizar Photoshop beta y cuando quiero hacer una capa con todos los visibles, no lo hace y me aparece este mensaje

I tried a couple methods to create an Adjustments preset in PS Beta 27.3.0. Selecting the layer and clicking the "+" sign in the Adjustments Layer did not bring up a Preset dialog. Nor did the Adjustment Panel menu list an option to add/save a Preset. Finally, I succceeded by (1) first clicking the "+" sign in Adjustments Panel; (2) then selecting the Adjustment layer and clicking Duplicate layer; (3) only then, as the confirmation/naming dialog opened for that action, a separate dialog blinked open to save the Adjustment layer as a Preset. After I named the Preset, it appeared at the bottom of the Adjustment preset menu. Apparently, lining the layer up to be duplicated convinces the app that there is, indeed, a layer waiting to be saved as a Preset — assurance the "+" sign action won't act without.

I'm searching how to export SDR view in Photoshop, with the same rendering as it appears in Camera Raw. I searched, many people are asking the same thing but nobody aswer to this question.

Photoshop beta v27.3.0L'outil dégradé ne fonctionne plus comme avant. Normalment nous nouvons déplacer le dégradé pour le mettre ou l'on veux ou bien l'affiner maintenant il n'est plus possible de le faire.
