Photoshop beta 26.9.0 Windows PCThe remove button on the contextual task bar, no longer works. Error message says the service is not responding. Please check your internet connection and try again, but other intenet functions work.

Here you will find the choices you can make on what to allow and what to pause.  You can come back to this settings panel at any time to change your choices.   What happens when I turn ON Enable Quiet Mode?   When you turn this setting on, all the notification types below it will be paused. You can also elect to not use the global Enable Quiet Mode tick box and instead, choose individual ones below it for specific kinds of notifications to be paused.   Certain notification types cannot be silenced as they are important for the use of the application.   We would love to hear your feedback on this and if you plan to use it. When in Photoshop Beta (latest update) i use the "browse in Bridge"(bridge latest update) option to find and open raw files. Those files open in Camera Raw(also latest update) where i do my edits. After editing i use the open option in Camera Raw so they will open in Photoshop. A few days now the Camera raw edited files no longer open into photoshop......the program takes me back to the Bridge folders. To get the edited photo into photoshop i need to close Photoshop and Bridge and restart Photoshop...then import the edited file straight from the folder. Whats happening here ??

Hello,  I'm experiencing some odd errors when using the move tool in Photoshop Beta. Below is the pertinent information regarding version, etc.  Photoshop version: Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.9.0 20250709.m.3143 187b1ee x64OS and version: Windows 11 Pro 24H2Issue: When using the move tool on any layer, I receive this pop-up:  This first started after updating to Photoshop Beta 26.9. The use of the move tool causes the error in the following attempts:1. Text on a Transparent layer.2. Text on Fill layer. 3. Auto-select layers and groups enabled and disabled in the move tool options.4. Rectangle shape, ellipse, and custom shapes on any layer, and also paths.5. Using Smart Objects and rasterized layers.6. After resetting Move Tool preferences.7. After resetting preferences (both inside Photoshop Beta and also holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift while relaunching) and after rebooting the PC. 10. Rolling back to the previous version of

Dear Adobe!The Photoshop does not offer to set a name for the new snapshot, with the "alt" pressed, like, for example, a new layer, or channel. This interferes and creates confusion when recording actions. The name can only be changed for an already created snapshot.Thank you!

I have a PS document and there is a lower layer (Logo) and two additional layers above it with clows that I've set to Overlay. If I click the layer directly above the base layer and hit CMD-e it collapses to the base as expected. If on the otherhand, I click the top layer and do a CMD-e it collapses both layers rather than just marrying it to the immediate layer below it.

Mac Pro (2019) Running Mac OS 15.5I've installed v. 26.7 through 26.9 of the Beta and in every instance I get error messages: “Adobe Photoshop (Beta)” is damaged and can’t be opened."The application “Adobe Photoshop (Beta)” can’t be opened.   

I have noticed when using some tools, there are symbols for the various Options instead of words. For instatnce the patch tool now has little symbols instead of the words "source" and "destination." This drives me absolutely insane because those little symbols mean nothing to me, and I doubt I will ever learn them. I know I can hover over them, but that does not always seem to work either. Or if it does it takes some time. Any way I can get the words back on my taskbar?

The generative fill is no longer respecting my selections and either adding to much feathering or just expanding my selection. For example in my job I cut out a lot of number plates to blank them. Feather is set to zero. Yet it still massively expands my selection for the generative mask. This now results in unsatifactory results and is not the precision that was in previous versions. What is the point of making a selection, setting the feather to zero,  just to be ignored.  In fact further investigation. Photosho Beta 26.9.0 is ok. Photoshop 26.8.1 is awful.

Hello. I am seeking assistance. I know Photoshop Beta is only a test version. I am experiencing significant frustration and disappointment. Following a update to Photoshop Beta, I am encountering difficulties generating images using a reference picture. The background of the reference image is consistently being removed. Despite exhaustive research, I have been unable to locate an option to retain or remove the background when selecting the reference image. How do I go back and install Desktop 25.9 or 26?       Subject edited by moderator to include "reference image". Was "Photoshop beta".      

There is no Traditional action menu option when going to Window>Action.

Hello, fans of Generator plugins, including "Image Assets".  With the rise of recent "generative" features, such as "Generative Fill", we have moved the submenu for Generator plugins to avoid confusion.   File > Generate > Image Assets   is now File > Automate > Generator Plugins > Image Assets  

Hi,I've been experiencing an issue with Photoshop for several months. When using AI-powered tools like Remove Tool or Generative Fill, the generated areas often have a different color than the rest of the image, making the results unusable in many cases.I use Photoshop on two different computers, and the issue occurs on both, affecting both the stable version and the BETA version. Things I’ve tried:- Changing Photoshop settings- Disabling GPU support- Adjusting cache levels- Updating my graphics driversNone of these solutions have helped. System details:Photoshop version: Latest stable & BETA (issue persists across multiple updates)Language: PolishOperating Systems: Windows 10 & Windows 11Example of the issue:Below, you can see an example where I tried to fix an area in the top right corner. Hi. In new Photoshop-Beta FireFly does not work correctly.1. When I upload reference picture - I can not write the text of prompt. And conversely - after writing prompt I can not upload reference. So, I can not use prompt and reference together. But in earlier versions of Photoshop-beta it worked.2. After uploading reference Photohop cuts out part of the image - so, the reference image does not uploading whole. 

I have previously successfully used the Photoshop > Neural Filters> Photo Restoration filter.Today I receive the following error: "We've temporarily disabled this filter because of an error."I tested Photoshop 2025, 2023, and Beta.I researched community.adobe.com and discovered multiple posts about this error dating as far back as 2021. It is now 2024.The “answer” seems to be: “Unfortunately this is a Beta feature right now, meaning there are no guarantees that this will be readily available or work all the time.”Link to community forum search results for Photo Restoration issue Question: Can anyone recommend a photo restoration application that I can use as a workaround for whenever the Photoshop > Neural Filters> Photo Restoration filter is disabled?Thank you.

Photoshop Beta version 26.9 on MacOS 15.5 - Using remove tool while holding shift... it appears as though shape dynamics is turned on. 

Help!Does anyone know how to effect change to a Behance ID that is clearly not mine and goes nowhere near my actual one? PS 26.9 Beta It drives me nuts that CC out there has incorrect details; not that I really use Behance, but should I ever, it needs to be fixed, and I am stumped.Thanks for any and all help!

I updated BETA 2 days ago and Reference Image is not showing besides the Generative Fill button, as it used to be a week ago Nat

Hello! Some interesting behavior started to appear for last 2 weeks. "Please check your internet connection and try again." appears every time trying generative fill. At the same time, I can easily generate image by prompt or select subject using cloud (detailed results).Screenshots of just generated background and error of generative fill linked as images. Photoshop Beta updated to latest version, creative cloud as well. PS beta 26.9.0, MacBook air m4 macOS 15.4 (24E248).  I've seen suggestions in different topics. Updating PS, restarting mac, and so on doesn't help. Firewall is turned off by default on my Mac. I've checked in activity monitor, does photoshop send and gets packets. It does.  Internet connection is stable, 30mb+. At the same time i can generate new layer, but still cant use generative fill.

Hi, I'm just trying to add some red splashes of blood to some objects, by writing 'red ink' or 'red paint' but gererative AI is replacing the objects and not adding to the current picture? How can I get it to add just to the picture and not change the object? References below
